Hi Buddy, last week ive bot new LG UN 7350 55 inch tv..then i realised that headphone jack wasnt there..that was ok for me..then i bot coaxial/optical audio coverter coz these tvs has the optical output..today i've received this converter from amazon..i wanted to connect my multimedia speaker to this tv as this speaker has only headphones coonector thats why i've ordered this converter..now i''ve connected otical cable to this conveter and from this converter device there's headphone jack which works for me..now sound is coming through my multimedia speakers but my problem is that i'm not able to control volume with my tv remote..i've tried few setups on tv too but still i'm not able to re4duce or decrease the volume using my lg magic remote...so can u please tell me if its possible to control the volume with tv remote..i think my explanation is ok to understand..thanks cheers!!
Only the headphone socket connection comes from the tv audio amp that you can control using the tv remote... but digital & coaxial are the pre-amp.. that you cant control from tv remote i think. It works even if you keep the tv volume at 0, right?
As i see in the specifications on the lg website.. i see that this tv has 2 way bluetooth connectivity... so you better use a bluetooth speaker/hometheater/soundbar & you can control the volume from tv i guess.
My F&D speaker working fine in pc and phone but when I connect it to my lg led tv the sound is scratching before playing song itself.. kindly recommend ideas for good quality sound

Plis help me out As how to connect Jaykay Home theatre(made in China) to my Smart Tv(INOYO company), Since I have had tried many times to connect but fails with available given cables consists of threee wires(red, white and yellow), Moreover Is is required to do setting in the smart Tv for connecting Home theater to Smart Tv?, if helped would be very thankful
Red white yellow, thats the rca connection. Yellow is for video. red & white are for audio left & right channel. Make sure its the output. If the home theater has the same rca input & simply connect the red & white. But check the tv for any 3.5mm audio output or headphone output... if its not clear to you then mail me with the pics of the tv ports & back side of the home theater. I will try to make it easy for you understand. Thanks
Hi , wonder if you can help . I've just purchased an LG HOME THEATRE SYSTEM and I have it hooked up to an LG TV . at the original set up I was able to access the speaker setup but as the speaker werent exactly in the position they would finally be placed at I did not adjust any of the volumes but all were working , producing sound. After connecting via HDMI AND OPTICAL , I then found the sound sync option and paired both together and its now showing the LG TV on the theatre unit and confirms sound settings as Bluetooth. Everything is working fine but the rear speakers need to be increased , but I cant get back to the speaker screen . The LG TV remote is now controlling the theatre system and the theatre system remote does not allow me to do anything. How can I get back to setting the speakers up again ? The tv is also set up to a sky q 2 box and the sky remote is set to control the tv and the theatre sound levels . Hope you can help - Thanks - Jay .
Ok i understood your problem i think. But i dont have any idea about the theater system or the tv you have. So cant tell you exactly what to do. Here are few advices--- You said hdmi & optical. You cant use both. Optical is old. If you use optical then the theater remote will work for volume. Tv volume wouldnt work. Hdmi is the latest standerd audio. If you conmect hdmi, then you dont need optical or any other connecting media at all. Now there would be hdmi options including ARC in the tv settings. Check them out properly & set it up. And select hdmi input from the theater. I dont know if you have hdmi input & output both in the theater system. Then the setup would be different. Hope this helps.
@@technoboy-allinOne Hi , thanks for your prompt reply. According to the set up guide it can either be set up via the hdmi arc or by an hdmi cable and an optical cable ( which is what I originally chose ), I then used the LG SOUNDSINK option and paired the theatre system to my tv via bluetooth. However , I'm happy to say it is now working as it should and I can adjust the speakers individually using the my remote . Turns out it was the remote there was an issue with the battery that came with it , which was stopping it from working. Just goes to show its not always a massive problem , sometimes it just pays to check on the little things. Thanks anyway for the reply - much appreciated.
If it doesnt hav hdmi or optical. Then connect it the same way. Using Either aux cord or 3.5mm to rca cord. Then select the input from the soundbar & audio out from the tv. Thats it. Simple
Sure i will try that. But right now i dont have a 4k lg tv. But you can tell me what audio ports are there in your 4k tv. So i can guide you. You can mail me too
You have headphone socket & dont have any option in the sound setting. Then it works auto. If you connect 3.5mm jack then the audio of the tv will be cut off. Check properly. & the input setting of your audio system.
Hi please help I’ve got a 5.1 system connected to my LG tv via optical I can only turn volume with the pod the surround comes with how do I do it with tv/sky remote?
Headphone out & analog rca out is there. Right? Connect to the headphone out & select input from the home theater. Keep the home theater volume high, and tou can control the volume from tv.When the tv is on if you connect the 3.5mm jack then the tv will automatically detect audio out or else you can select manually. What problem are you facing. Connect properly & select the proper input & output the let me know.
