Great video tutorial. In my particular DR770X Box setup everything worked as intended for a while but all of a sudden the OPTION camera stopped recording. My solution was to swap REAR and OPTION cables but now the clips are named wrong, which is not a big deal all I have to do is rename the clips accordingly. However, do you have any idea why this is? I mean that switching cables has solved the problem, partially at least. Thanks.

In terms of the Option camera not working it is strange that it and the rear camera is working after the cable swap. You would think if you swapped the cables, then the Rear camera should stop working. I'm wondering if your issue really isn't a cable issue. I suppose, there is a possibility that one of the cables is bad, and by swapping it, it temporarily "fixed" it just by physically moving the cable around. Or maybe the cable head is going bad and by re-plugging it, this temporarily fixed it. In terms of the clips being incorrectly named, did you swap the cable at the Box unit too? If not, then that would be why the names as switched. When you swap the cables for the cameras, you also have to swap connections at the box unit. If you did do that, then maybe there is a mix-up? Swapping the box unit cable ends again should fix that. Just make sure you power down the unit before you swap the cables!
What kind of vinyl film did you use when mounting the cameras? I see that you made a follow up comment that you put a link to it, in the description of the video, but I can't find that link...
I think I mentioned that in the video. But in case it wasn't clear enough, it is because the dash cam uses it to determine when the vehicle is turned off. It then can switch into parking mode operation.

@@FrakkingCreations Thanks for your quick reply. I swapped the cables at the box unit only, doing the other end would be a hassle.

I used vinyl wrap that is used for wrapping cars. I did put a link in the video description.

I used car wrap vinyl. Sorry about the link. I thought I added it before but I guess I didn't. I just added it.
Just wondering why you used both batt and acc fuse taps. Shouldn't you only need one tap?
