I love the "it's not the same" part. You can't really control where your brain goes to. I once had a story idea where characters in a game I play got cursed and turned back into kids and MC (or character in the game) was the only one who could handle them. The sad thing is, she used to be in love with one(or more) of them. Over time the reality dawns on her that even though the curse did not affect her, she was the most cursed of them all. As she now became their mom and she did view them as her children, though she still sometimes see flashes of their past self and the feelings she used to have resurfaces, but she's imediately hit by the reality. She lost them for good. Even if they turned back, she sees herself as their mom and so do they. It could never go back to how it used to be.
But I like this cute comic. It's optimistic and more on the cute side.
If you once had that story idea what would the sequel be once the MC realizes that things would forever be changed for her?
@@yasufang9379 sorry for the lost answer I struggle to summarize my thoughts when I'm invested in a story. I think I don't have a choice to tell you what game this idea came from, because I think you have an idea already for a sequel, which you are welcome to build and continue creating. But I think the "sequel" I have in mind might not be the same as what you have in mind so I'd hate to disappoint lol. So I want to explain everything so you know where my "sequel" is coming from.
I'll start with the game story so you know the concept of how things all started. If you recognize the game, yay, if not, I am a bit embarassed to say the name, but I'll be half honest and admit it's an otome game (romance game).
MC is thrown in hell for a year. She is not in danger though as this was a planned "exhange program" with two humans and 2 angels. The prince of hell who planned the program, can, to a certain extent, see into the future. He can tell if something good or bad is lurking in the horizon, he can also tell that certain decisions will have a positive/negative impact but he can't see details of what the impact of a decision will be. So he foresaw that his program would have a positive effect on the three realms. He also foresaw that if MC lived in a certain house rather than with all the exchange student, she will bring some good in the life of the people she shares the house with. So MC is set to live with the seven demons of sins. Her personality leads her to get close to the brothers, and she helps them deal with their...uh... Demons...
So that's the original story. Then comes my idea you already read. The 7 brothers are cursed and turned into toddlers. They are a rowdy bunch and only listen to MC because of the remnants of their feelings for her. Her feelings though, were not cursed. Her feelings for them are the same initially, until she realises how bad her situation is.
If you want my version of the "sequel" here it is : since she's a human and they are demons, she realizes after a while that they barely grew at all. Demons in that universe are practically immortal. They do age, but insanely slowly. The brothers where already beyond 3000 years old and where looking in their 20s. MC realises that by the time she would die, they wouldn't even have grown the equivalent of a human year. She knows no one but her could handle them all so after she's gone, they'll be separated. They'd lose their mother figure and be split. To avoid this she goes to the prince of hell (who is also her friend and love interest in the game) who has been trying his best to find a cure, and she asks him if there is anyway he can turn her into a demon. Which he reluctantly does.
In the game, everyone accepts that their time with MC is limited, but no one wants her to become like them for immortality. In that universe's lore, you are born an angel/demon. So the cast of the game just want MC to live a fulfilled life and they want to be a part of that life. Sometimes they are torn when the thought crosses their mind that they'll outlive her, but they don't want her to be changed into an angel or a demon for their sake. She is proud of being human. So for her to make that request in my story goes against what everyone wants for her, but her logic is sound. The adult brothers could handle her aging and eventual death. But the toddlers who see her as a mom? Who might have to be separated? That's the terrifying thought that drove MC to make the request. And the prince obliges, knowing full well this condemns her to be their mother for milenias. It's bitter sweet. She is happy as their mother, but there will always be the "what could have been" lingering.

i've been learning chinese for 5+ years and for a tip, "xiansheng" isnt pronounced as "zianseng!" infact, xiansheng is mostly pronounced as "sianseng" "siansheng" or "shianseng"

why.... does childe call him "xiansheng" ? I only ever see this in comics, not ingame.
Zhongli goes by so many names.... Rex Lapis, Morax, Geo Archon, God of Contracts, but never xiansheng.
Xiansheng is like saying "Sir" is a suffix used for a person in a more experienced profession, so it has nothing to do with their titles like archon, Zhongli Xiansheng is for the Chinese version, Mister Zhongli is for the English version and Zhongli Sensei for the Japanese version.
