Pouch Tying Methods: Part 1

- Alright folks we are starting a little mini series on pouch attachments. Will be tieing 4 bands sets with different methods and materials. after all 4 have been made I will do a longevity test with each band set to see how many shots these methods will shoot. I will do this by shooting each band set until failure.

Ya that's why I decided to do it. When I started to make my own bands I was lost. Every guy out there has " The way" to do it. I could have saved a lot of time searching around for this info when I started. I figure I'll make a playlist of all the ones I come across and anybody searching for options or tutorials may be helped out by this little playlist.

@@ATOMark The doctor checked his work last Friday and he was happy how it turned out. It is still red and swollen, but the focus is coming back. Up to 8 weeks to get rid of the gas bubble they injected for the operation. Another check up next week. Protect those eyes, Mark. This is definitely not my idea of a fun time. Kitchen knife skills with no depth perception make life a lot more exciting. Thank you for your concern, Mark

been looking forward to this video mate i like the look of crystal string as its a lot neater and i like the colours but iam so curious of how much band they can hold as its only a thin material
I shoot .66 gzk and I use cristal string. It works great. I've never has one come undone. The Amber belt is a different story. It will hold well but it has to be wrapped tight. In the end just add a few more wraps the heavier you go.

It's coming soon. I should have it done with in the next week. Then I will test them all until failure.
Which methods gives more life for bands?
I have found the cuffs last longest but for me I found they shoot a little inconsistent for some reason.
So which bandset lasted the longest?
I had the best luck with Cristal string
What band tieing jig is that?
I don't know what it is called but it is from GZK
So to make a ttf band set you fold in half and have the tag end folded inside rather than having the tag end on the outside?
For ttf I do a try fold. So I fold it in 3 pass it through the pouch and still have the tag end on the outside.
@@ATOMark I am having trouble doing the trifold on smaller tapered ends. I like to shoot light ammo(bbs). So my taper ends are small.
