I guess if he'd used it more Serral would have picked up on it and countered the build. Still, a build is only as effective as the player executing it, in turn will only be effective if the opposing player isnt able to succesfully execute a counter build.. Assuming the races are balances lol but that opens up a whole can of worms!

I was thinking that a single sentry in the warp prism would be very useful with adept pushes. You could cut off any base from reinforcements/stop retreat of drones. You could pretty much set your own terms on which bases to lock down thanks to the adepts' and warp prisms' mobility. Would it screw the build order too much to have a couple of sentries?
I saw someone do that in GSL (I think Astrea vs Dark, round of 32?). It worked reasonably well even if protoss still lost (Astrea just wasn't as good as dark overall), I'm assuming there's a reason people don't do it every time, but if you can hide it, it definitely looked like a valid twist on this strategy.

Idk, it just feels like the EU pros put up more interesting fights against Serral, even if Clem does usually lose out as of right now. Against KR pros, Serral games are mostly boring to me.
The zombie toss style is extremely easy to pull off, and Protoss has guaranteed damage with the adept builds. The more micro intensive parts of toss’s arsenal are difficult to pull off, but they aren’t often units that are the back bone of an army
They do, but they're slower than ravager/roach. Biles break forcefields and zone. Better utility. The ling/bane element keeps the protoss away from immortals and towards colossus. Hydras aren't good vs colossus.
If only you able to tech to hive asap and get lurker then hydra is viable in this case.. If not probably no.. Since Adept,colosuss strong against light unit disruptor will blow up your hydra pretty fast also hydra are squishy and expensive this gave more reason to not use hydra in this type of scenario
I feel line zergs are imba as fuck. You just need to see this bo7 : 1 build out of the protoss is able to win. Terran are getting rekt too if not really far ahead while microing and macroing 10 times harder

Zerg is such a sad race nowadays. It makes me sick to see, that P can build whatever they want, herass you all game long, expand like Z, get 80 probes and build an army you cant counter anymore ( if you are not Serral or any other toptier player).
You're actually just wrong. Zerg is not in any pitiful state, especially not compared to Protoss. Protoss harass all game long because we pretty much have to or the Zerg just take over the map. Getting and holding a third+ base is still a real challenge, especially on certain maps, and it's super easy for Zerg to take advantage of Protoss (or Terran) not paying attention for a second to either slip a bunch of speedlings into the mineral line or run/drop a few banelings in and wipe the entire mineral line in a matter of seconds. Shield battery doesn't help against banes. Not to mention as Winter mentions in this very video, Protoss basically has to go glaive Adepts to have a strong chance of fighting until tier 3 or we are very likely to just die, since expanding will be difficult and the Zerg can just overwhelm the Protoss with easy expansions and an absurd economy.
