    Had a 68 cuda like that vinyl top. Had front end rust issues too. Upper control arm bracket cracked and separated from the frame. Wish I had it today though. Thanks for the memories.

      Awesome. I think a vast majority of these cars are long gone due to rust. Honestly mine probably should have been scrapped many many years ago. I am glad I saved it for sure

  • @IronHorseGarage

    Awesome my friend!!! Probably had some rust to knock off the rear brake drums! I think the Barracuda is a solid contender for the Nacho Cuda!! How bout another drag race...

    • @TheDodgeWhisperer
      @TheDodgeWhisperer  2 года назад +3

      Yeah I would imagine so... maybe the brake fluid that is more than likely leaking from the wheel cylinders helped towards the end lol

    Really cool vid man, and it works great back to back with the vid on Duddies page...Quite the history for the old girl too...20 years, looks like it was full steam ahead when you first bought it... The list of things that need attention is up there but its nothing really bad to be honest. Would you consider dropping the K farme and box out the bottom together in order to make better access to the floor section? Just a thought and its now my favourite way to get the running gear out...obviously box has to come off the motor too... Might be time for a stall converter while youre there :) Love this car... I have the 68 Fastback in black if you want to see what it looks like in that colour...Hahaha...Those tyres you threw on seem to have some grip in the wet too...good advertisement for them... Looking forward to seeing whats next mate...

      I think he has some big plans for this thing now. This Not Nacho needs to take on The Nacho in a Race!!!

    • @TheDodgeWhisperer
      @TheDodgeWhisperer  2 года назад +2

      I will probably leave the k member in so it can roll around a bit as necessary. Yes it definitely needs a stall converter... the one in it is speced for a 6000 pound truck lol. I am thinking maybe 2800-3000 rpm stall would work pretty well

    However this guys is 9 kinds of crazy 😝. To much talk and not enough work being seen. Don’t care who’s doing the work but the enjoyment of seeing it fixed or built is what makes it cool 😎.
    But again this guy is nuts 🥜 lol 😝
