*NOTE1:* For some reason the villagers randomly get out of the boats. Not sure why, but that might allow your top villagers to escape!
*NOTE2:* If they are throwing food, one of them doesn't have enough to eat and they won't breed:) Try dropping the food in different locations like 9:42 so they can both eat. Also, the beds need to be within a couple blocks vertically of the villagers for them to link properly. if they are not linking, move the beds to the same level as the breeder villagers:)
Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoy this little build :D I think this could be a very useful little build you could toss up, get some villagers, then take back down in a few minutes:) If you enjoyed this video, make sure to leave a like and consider sharing it around so others can enjoy it! :D

I don't watch this guy much, but when I do, I'm always satisfied. It's just nice knowing you have a dependable source of farm designs is comforting.
dependable is a stretch.
For everyone that is having issues with the villagers linking to beds and not breeding, or maybe the bread is just being stolen by the villager in the back of the boat, I had this same problem and found a fix for it so I thought I would share it because I looked through the comments and saw that people were having the same problem and couldn't find a solution.
I found that creating paths for the villagers to "walk" on helps them link to beds (quotes because they're stuck in the boat and should not be able to actually walk on the paths) Using solid blocks, outline the villager's boat or slabs and create a small platform in front of them lit up using torches or something so that zombies don't spawn. Then on that platform you should place 2 beds. NOT DONE YET!! You may notice that they aren't breeding even with beds placed below the boat area. This is because there is no way for the villagers to pathfind to the beds below, so they don't count them as usable beds for the baby villagers to use, so they don't breed. What I did to fix this was build a staircase of dirt leading up to the platform you made before, and place some doors at the top to keep zombies from reaching the villagers. The doors won't get in the way of the villager's pathfinding down the staircase and to the beds below.
Oh and i forgot to mention, If the villager in the back is stealing all the bread, build a small platform behind the boat so you can throw items around 3 blocks away from the villager in the back. When you throw bread or any food around 2-3 blocks behind the boat the villager in the back gets distracted by it but not be able to pick it up and will no longer pick up any food, so you can go ahead and throw bread onto the boat pr wherever and the front villager will pick everything up.
EDIT: I've noticed some people still having trouble with the villagers still finding beds but then they solve it by expanding the platform with the first 2 beds and putting the beds there. So you can either do this instead of the staircase thing or you can try it out if you've already tried the staircase method and it doesn't work.
This is what worked for me and I'm not really smart with villager mechanics and have never messed with villagers up until this point, these explanations are just what I can come up with for why this design didn't work for some people so plz don't quote me on that. So I hope it helped you! :D If not then I hope you find a better method for fixing your breeder!
(One more thing, thanks for all the feedback! I try to help as much as I can but as I said I'm not really good with this stuff. Also I haven't been getting notifications for some replies recently so sorry if I don't respond!)
I'm not sure what situation you're in but for the farm to work the villagers should be in the boat. From what I can guess either you don't have enough beds, or the villagers are having trouble finding them. If you have enough beds, try moving them around the villagers and putting a staircase leading down to the ground. Sometimes villagers are weird and won't see beds that are behind them so try putting them in front of the boat on the ground near the staircase. If that doesn't work make sure that there's no other unwanted beds in around a 100 block radius and keep trying.
Also make sure they're not nitwits (green coats)
If all that fails I'm willing to try and help you if you need it, otherwise I would need a deep description on the locations of beds, villagers, and pathways for the villagers. Wish you luck! :D
THANK YOU SO MUCH A SERIOS LIFE SAVER

Second villager won’t go in the boat after the boat is placed? Use a water bucket to force him in.
Also you can put two villagers in the boat at the village then attach a lead to the boat and flood the ground with a water bucket as you go. Makes transportation much faster.

can you help me? my beds are as close as they can be and they even have composters for jobs but no breeding :(((
I've built this several times, and it always works great. The only tip I would give to people making it, is to not put the boat in its final place first. I place 4 temporary blocks in the space, then the boat on top of it. Get your villagers into the boat, nudge it into the right place, then break the temp blocks. Saves a lot of time trying to get them into the boat when it's already in the hole.
Yes that’s what I had to do. Cuz they kept going in circles on the top of the fence posts

Works nearly perfectly, thanks silent! Super easy to put together, very efficient. Only issue is when I started getting a decent number of babies, 6 or 7 or so, the new babies would just bounce into the adult chamber. Not a big issue to me though, not even inconvenient

For anyone still having trouble. I was having the same issue of villagers in place fed and not breeding. So I tried some other suggested fixes with still no breeding luck. I ended up creating thr platform used in the iron farm with a slight change added to it for the villager breeder. Just build the 19x19 platform from the iron build directly above the shown separator and put a 2x2 pillar above the hole so only the baby villagers can flow through.

@@MountainWo1f a lot late for me
Lol a zombie kill all but 2 of my villagers and those ones are my mending and unbreaking 3ones
Omg this is so efficient as soon as you put all the beds at the same level as the villagers on top baby’s just start flying out
For anyone having trouble with this. Try making a stair case that is *2 blocks wide* from the ground to where your beds are at the height of your villagers. Not sure why, but I couldn't get it to work for the longest time after trying literally every suggestion I went into creative and tested it there and right when I made a stair case that was 2 blocks wide it worked! Tested again in my survival world and they popped out 5 babies super fast from all the food I had bee throwing at them. Again. If you have linked beds, have plenty of beds, and have thrown a lot of food and they are tossing it back and forth, try a stair case that is 2 blocks wide.
I get excited when I see a farm that requires not a single redstone dust
This is so much simpler to make than anything I’ve seen. I hope tomorrow’s video shows a zombie converter to get lower prices.
On bedrock only, find a zombie spawner, convert it into a zombie mob farm, surround the kill area with iron bars, whenever a zombie villager shows up, seal off the entrance, kill all the other zombies, and cure the zombie, after that let him out and rinse repeat, 1 emerald or significantly decreased other trade unlimited. So easy it kinda feels like cheating.
This is so awesome :)
After using this for a couple months, it works great! My only takeaway is (and it’s not the designers fault.) After a while, the baby villagers knock the boat off the fence posts and you have to reset the machine.
I thought no one else was going to mention this. I have to reset mine like every 2 babies.
Hey everyone! I put beds right on par with the villagers, linked them to work stations, made sure the boat was completely under the slabs, and gave them both plenty of food. They are linked to beds, and everything... I am not sure why this isn't working. I have spent over a week on this project, and I am starting to lose hope. I am hoping someone can help me with this! I feel like this would be a great farm, but I feel like if your not on creative mode with peaceful on, this may not work. I am experiencing them trading food, but not getting any hearts... Silent this is a wonderful idea and I really appreciate the video, I am new to your channel and I am SO HAPPY to have found it, but I am wondering if you might be willing to upload a bug fix video so that people like me who are having major issues getting it to work can know where to start when trying to fix it! I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Same problem
If they are sharing food means that one of them has empty inventory so they cant Breed. Throw them both some more. Another tip is to make sure is away 150 block form any village other and workstation or outside beds. Finally the thing that resolved my an issue with mine was to replace the beds and put more beds in a side platform. Hope this helps.
Things to do to troubleshoot: move all the beds to the same level as the parents
Make sure both are getting food. You can tell which one is getting it by throwing down food and the one that gets it will shake it’s head
If one is taking all the food then remove the blocks around the boat and readjust it by pushing it and continue that until it works.
works on 1.17.10???
A little tip for the food issue involving one villager taking all the food, you can solve this by making one of the villagers’ profession as a farmer, they will share the food they received with the other villager in the boat
Thx g this really helped
This is great! I need to rebuild my iron farm because mine broke. It's funny though, all of those villagers disappeared! ;)

FIX: replace slabs with trapdoors, and either glass pane or iron bars for fences, enjoy! also beds need to be higher up
What problem does this fix
@@brendenthorkildson2019 not sure about the others, but the beds do need to be higher up at within 4 blocks vertical to the villagers or they won't breed.
thanks you man need this
keep up
Thank you for this video. It's finally working great but I would advise everyone to not place a bed for yourself to sleep in within 100 blocks or sleep in villager bed or it screws up job bock assignment and it is a pain to fix. If you have to use a villager bed first break it and reset it. If you see green sparkles about after placing the bed DO NOT USE THAT BED. Break and replace a different villager bed until you don't see green sparkles. That bed will be okay to sleep in for that night. You have to do this every day to make sure a villager hasn't assigned to a bed.

So if you're having issues with one picking up food but not the other and they were zombie villagers you cured... try acing a workstation and trading with them. No idea why that works but it did it for me. Also for those who are having issues getting them in the boat you move the boat into position after the villagers are in it not before.

If you’re having trouble with this build here are some of my tips/tweaks:
Not sharing food fix: make sure you’re dropping the food on the glass blocks in front of the front villager and behind the back villager. It solved my problem.
Not pairing with bed: add beds to the same level as the villager breeders
Baby villagers in adult chamber: Replace the 2x2 trap doors with signs. Easily done by breaking one of the glass blocks next to a trap door and finagling around to get the four signs in.
Hey there ! Thanks for these tips ! I have a couple question tho , my beds r not linking , so by keeping it same level as the villager breeder do u mean same level as the bottom of the villager breeder or do u mean same level as where the villager is . I appreciate it alot !

Can someone help me the back villager is taking all the bread
Just in case it helps anyone :)
I did some testing with a dispenser dispensing bread and it works pretty well. So far no bread has been tossed down into the baby chamber. The position of the boat isn’t TOO important, as mine shifted sideways and I couldn’t fix it - but it hasn’t caused any breeding issues so far. Making platforms at boat level for beds and work stations (optional I believe, don’t quote me on that) has seemed to work wonderfully, as having them on the ground only caused me 1 baby villager every 10 minutes if that. I put trap doors on the sides of the glass blocks below the fence posts because some of my baby villagers got stuck up there (probably due to my sideways boat). This tutorial was really helpful otherwise :)

Hey I'm not sure of this may be the case but the source of the issues might be other villagers are linking to the beds, so if you have other villagers in the area, you might need to add them to your bed count. Hope this helps!
Once you add at least 3 beds at the level of the spawner villagers it starts pumping out quick. Villagers also only have 5-9 inventory slots so if you give them up too 18 stacks you won’t have any stealing issues with the bot giys
Had to take a break from messing with this. Got the villagers in the boat with no problem. Gave them food no problem. Put the beds down... no breeding. Nothing. Reload the game and one villager hopped out of the boat and started breeding like a mouse.
Now I have 6 baby villagers running around. One of my original villagers got killed. And none of the babies want to get in the boat.
I’ll wait until tomorrow to mess with this some more.
Any joy? I’m having the same (no breeding) issue
What I've found to help is that the villager in the front actually doesn't get any food so try adding two blocks on the front where the villagers are, and throwing it out bit by bit til it's on the edge of it grabbing the food, The back villager for me was greedy and any food i tossed near, it would pick up, even the food it tried to give to villager one
@@BurnCarrot can u plz elaborate I still can’t get the front villager to eat

@@jonahvillafan The two blocks in front of the boat, I extended it out by 3-4 blocks and sneaked towards the villagers, idk if it was just mine or if it is universal but the villager that picked up the food would nod its head. Just for fun, I built a small 9×9 potato farm powered breeder 100 blocks in the air. Farmer feeds breeders, babies fall through a 2 block wide trapdoor gap to a pool of water on the ground. The babies NEVER stop raining down if the chunk is loaded. Only needs 4 beds total as the babies delink during their plummet. Adding 1 or 2 more beds can increase breeding speed....but not by much.
I have tried making both of the breeders active farmers, but with room to run around, sometimes the babies don't chase their bed and grow up inside the farm and can't get out.
If you're having trouble getting them to breed, I'm pretty sure they can't breed in a boat. It's the only thing that worked for me, I put them in minecarts
I made this for convenience sorting with two villagers I was previously breeding. Built everything up, and got the villagers together, but they wouldn't breed anymore. I made sure they had food, I tried trading and moving the beds closer, but they just wouldn't breed.
I realized that last time I had them in minecarts instead of a boat, so I swapped out the boat for a couple of carts, and boom, they started breeding. I had to make some adjustments due to height differences
