For the first story, she assumed he would see the post online and pay attention to the photo. She even admitted he probably didn't look at the photo very closely and he may not even have social media. I don't have social media (41M) and my family assumes I hear about things in the family. I have to remind them that unless the tell me directly, I probably won't know about it. I don't thing there any aholes here, just people who need to work on communication.

For the story where OP's parents took out credit cards in her name: she can put a lien on the parents' house and have them charged with credit card fraud as well as the identity theft. Possibly depending on where she lives. But I'd talk to whatever detective that's handling her case and ask what else besides identity theft she can have charges pressed against her parents. I'd talk to their bank about the lien. Honestly, I'd go scorched Earth on them because they probably ruined OP's chances of getting any sort of government job until her parents are found guilty, and have to clean this mess up themselves.
As someone who is pansexual, I don’t feel that anyone is owed to know your sexuality nor does it matter. Her family obviously didn’t make her feel comfortable enough to open up about her sexuality.

I had a creditor call me looking for my sister as my number used to be hers and he told me he would have her credit card canceled if she didn't pay and I said she doesn't have a credit card and then he said I will have your credit card canceled and I said well good luck with that LOL. They also called and threatened my elderly parents telling them they had to pay her debt. Those people are crazy.

It would’ve been great if op introduced her gf as her gf, but it didn’t happened and the gf could’ve bounced out of that relationship but she didn’t(they got married). So it’s not your place as non queer people to tell others what is ok or not. If op posted on social media about her wedding, her mom(grandpa’s daughter) could’ve maybe asked for permission to tell grandpa about it or discussed it with op or something.
