Lovely playing, and all credit to you for the correct use of "a little" in the context of "a little reverb". For too many people it seems a little reverb means a medium sized cave instead of a massive one and it drives me crazy. This is perfect.
It is such a treat Mr Carl to learn from a master, even things like the blues tone can be opaque to everyday hacks like me. So, thank you letting us see behind the curtain once again.
Great playing. I love how you nailed that "King" tone throughout with a JTM 45. I would have sworn it was a Blackface Fender. I guess the EV's had a larger impression on the overall sound than I would have supposed. Really good video Thanks.
2:49 Absolutely nice playing
The 335 + jtm45 + Carl Verheyen = tone heaven. Awesome!!! Thanks.
Carl Verheyen you have always been one of my favorite guitarists

This is gold! Thanks for sharing Carl
Carl Verheyen is master of tone.
What a sweet tone, beautiful!
And Carl you are such a world class act gentleman with amazing hands and soul, thank you!
fascinating video Carl Verheyen Guitarist. I broke that thumbs up on your video. Always keep up the first-rate work.
Thanks for this.
Hey Carl- just picked up your old Line 6 effects on Reverb tonight! Planning on using it on all my vintage keyboards!
Great info from one of the greats. Awesome vid!
Great video, but the one thing I didn't hear you mention is how you set the tone controls on your guitar. Are they both full up?

thanks shifu!
I bet cats have a rough time if they ever have to follow Carl at a gig or a Festival. Truly remarkable player.
Seems like, if you want a blues tone, you need to be called king. Job done.
Can't beat a Marshall. It's not all about the dirt. Very sweet clean and crunch
I think the speakers are more important than the amp 2:00
🎉 thank you so much for sharing Carl 🎉 hope you are well God loves you deeply shalom 🤗🐼♥️✝️💐 Philippians 4:8
Is there a certain way to tune it to get a better sound I have a Les Paul ep still a beginner
A great blues sound is actually Drop D
What scale is that
Not helping. Can't even see your settings.
Ok, but not everyone can afford that amp nor the hearing damage.
Get a cheap one
nothing special here, at all
Who said anything about special? You're the only one to bring that up lol
