Hi, If you suddenly have problems with the hydraulic timing tensioner, just change it to a mechanical tensioner from CB750 91. It fits without alterations.
I’ve got a couple of donations for you John if you want them I’ve got a set of hedge cutters save you borrowing your brothers and a petrol chainsaw to help with your log burner which think needs a primer bubble as it was running but now won’t prime your more than welcome to them mate I’m only in top valley…. Hello. You need a open ended cam chain with a joining link and you will need a chain linking tool to fix the camchain link securely in place.
Normally put the f gauge between the valve and tappet !

Is the cam to tight.. is the starter motor stiff. I don't really know it could be lots of things.
