I get a file too big message when I try to put an all-over design on just part of my scanned image. I have a quilt and wanted to do stipple just in part of the quilt. It is a large Christmas tree and I wanted to do snowflakes in the cream area but could not get the machine to do it. I set the hoop size and did a scan. Then, I did the cup to "fill" the entire hoop and used the erase feature to delete part of the stitching from the area that wasn't the tree but it would not go through. I got a file too big or too much data message. How do I make this work?
Thank you. your tutorials are appreciated. please do more in the design center. Can you show how to sew around a preprinted panel by scanning in my design center. then sewing around the designs in the panel with stitches.
Angela Wolf - Love your tutorials. Have a Dream machine and your instructions are by far the best on you tube. Please continue with these, especially the Design Center. Would like to see more in depth videos. I take care of elderly and can not go to classes or get to the dealers, who's over all knowledge is ok, but can't really help with detailed info. Thank you so much you are so appreciated.
Once you put a stipple pattern (say in a block) in my design center and then create a embroidery file can you the go back an change block to a filled pattern with a fill stitch
You should be able to edit your fill pattern in My Design Center within the edit menu. If you need further assistance with this, please contact Brother Customer Service at: www.brother-usa.com/support
So I can't find this anywhere, If you scan in a piece of material, lots of colors and only want to stipple on top of that piece of material in the hoop, how do you do this? If you scan it in, it wants to recognize each color, design, so you can stipple around it, but if you want to stipple the entire piece of material, how would you do this? I keep getting an error message about too much data. Thanks
Vickie don't scan, just go into design center, choose hoop size, choose shape to fit hoop size your using. Then choose your stipple or built in quilt design. Scanning created more issues, if only quilting a piece of fabric , thats what I just learned from watching this video. Helped a lot!
5 years later and this video was still helpful andddd I’m using the Stellaire . Amazing !
Thank you for watching Olivia! We are glad that you found the video helpful.
Great tutorial! Really helped me so much! I just couldn't figure out how to quilt a piece of fabric in my hoop.
Very useful video, please do more like this!!! Thanks Angela!!!
Love that but how do you just fill a fabric sandwich to be cut into pieces to sew with ... no added flowers?
