I took Turkish Airlines last Oct to Istanbul from Singapore. The service and the food was good. The seat space were fine as well. I'm glad I chose Turkish Airlines over Singapore Airlines. Apart from the price difference, the food was better than SQ, service was just slightly below SQ. Would definitely fly with them if I have the option to again.
Wonderful, tips taken , I flew Turkish airlines from South Africa and domestic flights inland a few times, no problem whatsoever, just flying is to much tiring , services were great to .

I had the pleasure of fly Turkish Airlines I believe 2 times in trips to Istanbul on the way to Kenya. I was quite impressed to say the least. I was very happy for being 6 foot 5. Comfort is much better than say Lufthansa... WHICH I will NEVER fly again. Legroom acceptable and food I found to be very good. I also like how you can see cams from the front and bottom of the airliner.
An extra 1000 usd for a 14 hour flight. I would have done business class. If it was return as well. That is a excellent deal compared to other airlines. Love your vloggs😊
Perfect timing for this video. I will be in instanbul next month and will be flying business class from IST to Cologne. Hope everything is ok with your family in Mexico!
Espero que en la vuelta te regalen el upgrade! #turkishairlines porque esta review es sincera y te muestra porque TKA es la mejor opción para viajar económico y con calidad! 🧿
Thank you Bery u are always the best advisor and ur reviews are always honest. I hope Turkish Airline will sponsor you as many people travel to Turkey based on ur advices. Many thanks again. I hope to bump into u in Oct while spending a month exploring 🇹🇷
Thank you! Unfortunately, Turkish Airlines seems to sponsor only ‘big content creators’, I’ve tried for a long time to reach out to them but never heard back from them. Anyways, maybe if one day they see ‘a big follower number’ on my social media, they’ll reach out to me 🤣
I just flew to Turkiye (Istanbul) using Turkish Airlines for the first time ever just 2 weeks ago. Seeing various reviews and ratings, it kinds of taking the risk for us. But I was amazed and my great experience proofed the negative reviews wrong. Great inflight entertainment (par with my other regular airlines like SQ, Qatar and Emirates), pretty much good meal (they gave me my favourite kofte with spice pilav), great service crew, and great pre and after landing services as well. And yes, the price was slightly affordable compared to other flights. This will not be my last one flying with Turkish Airlines.
Hello Bery! I have never flown with Turkish Airlines but I think that they are ok. Then you are our best advisor and your info are always so well detailed, so that we have just to follow them to be sure that our travel to Turkey will be fantastic. Great video. Thanks a lot
Hope that all is well with your family in Mexico, Bery. Turkish Airlines is a great option to reach smaller European destinations, to which major airlines in Asia do not fly direct. It can also be at a reasonable price point as well, if you plan well. Luggage allowance is generous (30kg on economy, when not flying to/from the Americas), when compared to most other airlines. Service is a bit brusque, but not rude. Food and amenities are pretty decent, when compared to their key competitors. Entertainment is good. US$1,000 to upgrade to business class was a good deal, but always understand that money can also be well spent on something else. Wishing you a good visit home, Bery.
I have a doubt ,will they weight the personal item too? Like I will be carrying a laptop bag as personal item and a small luggage back for the 8 kg in cabin
"Great review! I’ve always heard good things about Turkish Airlines, and it’s awesome to see such a detailed firsthand experience. The generous baggage allowance, comfortable seating, and in-flight entertainment options sound great for long flights. I’m also a fan of how friendly and attentive the cabin crew seems, especially when you speak their language. I agree with your point about airplane food-while it’s rarely amazing, it’s good to see they offer some nice Turkish-inspired options. The gift from the crew at the end was a lovely touch as well. Thanks for sharing your experience, this definitely gives me confidence for my next Turkish Airlines flight!"
The food is terrific and I love the Turkish airline experience!! I’m Turkish American and have flown several times in my life! Very nice cabin crews! I’m actually flying tomorrow night im so excited to see my big beautiful family in Turkey
I'm thinking of flying with Turkish air but they have long lay over. Where can I go and check the beauty of Istanbul? Is it safe? Looking for places that are not too far from the airport since I only have 10 hours to spare. Help is much appreciated.
I'd recently flown on a to-and-fro flight from Singapore to Istanbul, on Turkish Airlines, on the 777-300ER. The flight was decent but here are the issues on the forward journey: 1. The male attendant servicing my area had an attitude problem, probably due to the high inflation in Turkey, the failed rebellions or something. He was cocky and not polite (different from being rude). I was sitting next to the aisle, but when it came to asking me for my meal preference, he'd said, 'Chicken or fish?', instead of the longer polite question. He was serving the passengers as if he was he's just getting through the day; there was no smile and no extra care. 2. As mentioned by Dan, it seemed as if once the meal trays were collected, the attendants just disappear for several hours. 3. There was no fan from the ceiling, something that would be helpful when the air-conditioning wasn't working fully yet. The 767 and 757 had such fans and this deficiency felt like the 777 was older than those two models. 4. The touch screen was really outdated and not sensitive. I had to use a combination of the screen and the dirty-looking cabled controller to choose the media I'd wanted to watch. 5. The screen was also of low resolution. On the return journey, I had a window seat. The issues were: 1. The attendants had disappeared, once the trays were collected. When I'd needed some water, I'd pressed the attendant lights and bell, but nobody came even after a while. I'd pressed it again and, no one came again. On my third attempt, an attendant did come, but I think she was just coincidentally passing by. Together with my much earlier issue with the attendant, it is as if the entire Turkish Airlines attendant staff community had developed an attitude problem! 2. The table was slanted, which meant the tray kept sliding into my body. Why did aircraft maintenance not spot this issue? The main positives for both flights was the relatively good food and the well-stuffed amenities bag that had lip balm, ear plugs, toothbrush and paste, slippers and socks. Back to the negatives - The Istanbul Airport was definitely robbing the passengers with their ridiculously priced items and, what's more, in Euros, rather than Turkish Lira! I didn't buy a single thing!
Thank you so much for the detailed review! Were there any delays on your journey and did you have a connecting flight? I would like to know if it was easy to navigate through the airport.
Hi how the istanbul to bali flight? How was the long journey and food / entertainment . Im thinking to book it with kids age 3 and 6. Not sure how it’ll be as im used to emirates . Turkish is cheaper but never been on their a350 plane . Let me know thanks
Flew from Hong Kong to UK using TK. The flight was so hot and stuffy, to the point that I couldn’t even use my neck pillow because I was overheating. The Turkish guy next to me sat diagonally the whole time because his leg couldn’t fit into the space in front of him. I do like their amenities kit though, it’s one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen, got one that had Turkish scenic prints on it.
Anytime I"ve taken Turkish Airlines from Turkey to IAD (Washington Dulles) I've seen the older economy which doesn't look comfortable. I wish Turkish Airlines would upgrade their entire fleet!
This will be my last trip with Turkish Airlines. DFW - IST then IST - KUL. I had pretty good experience last year, and I thought it would be a repeat. Horrendous. Worse, it wasn't the cheapest flight for my itinerary. The DFW - IST flight had an hour delay. So, my plan to take advantage of the Tour Istanbul went up in smoke. The 787 Dreamliner 3-3-3 seat combo is good, but the plane was dirty, and smelled like urine. I heard they had to change the seat for the passenger sitting behind me because of this. They gave me a dinner voucher for one out of 9 restaurants. The only redeeming quality for this trip for me is the very well-kept and managed Mesjid. The IST - KUL was practically a nightmare that is if I could have gotten some sleep. It's a 10-hour flight and the 777 is so old, the seat creaks. The economy section does not have individualized air conditioning vent. For more than half the trip, the temperature in the cabin was warm, and passengers (self-included) were using the security info card to fan themselves. FYI for both legs, drinks are limited to one cup and it's almost like the paper cups that you pulled out of a cup dispenser at the office's water cooler. YA, I'm not kidding. However, the staff is always courteous, and nice even though the situations were hard. Turkish Airlines CEO is sleeping. I've flown with Qatar, JAL, MAS, SIA, EVA, and Korean air to this sector. This is my worst so far. Turkish Airlines used to be good. With all the hype, I think it became complacent. That's why it will never reach the level of SIA or even JAL. Good luck.
Conclusion. La Aerolinea aparte que es la que cancela el vuelo, el cliente pierde mas dinero del que habia pagado. No me parece que actúen correctamente. Gracias Bery por el video. Sólo quería comentar que no todo es color de rosa. Abrazos❤
Thanks for your video. This winter I'm flying to Australia with Turkish. As an extremely nervous flyer I was going to book with one of the top 5 airlines (Emirates, Etihad or Qatar), because that makes me feel more comfortable for some reason. But then I saw tickets for Turkish were like 600 euros cheaper, and went for that - including seat selection (emergency exit seats all the way), and was still off cheaper than if I had booked standard tickets for the other ones. I think I'll thoroughly 'enjoy' my journey :)
im going to Seoul with TurkishAirlines i have only used emirates but this one was cheaper and this video make me happy with my choice! mine is a from spain to seoul and is 4 planes so i will have a long experiance with them!
You are the best. Your analysis about Turkish Airline is topnotch. My family and I will be traveling to Rome from Chicago via Istanbul for vacation next month. Your video about Turkish Airlines has given us good assurance what to expect on our trip by flying Turkish Airlines. Other European Airlines ticket fares are too expensive (plus extra fee for check in baggage) but Turkish Airlines tickets are ffordable and inexpensive with free checked in baggage for my family.. I really appreciate you for this video. Thank you very much.
TURKISH AIRLINES IS CHEAP??? omg, I did a two months Erasmus period and I had to take the airplane from Italy (not ROME but MILANO) and the prices started from at least 400€ (with booking two months in advance!). Pegasus is low cost.
Considering the food, comfort of the A350-900 and legroom, TA was one of my best flights, I have taken. Flew from Istanbul to Singapore, Its a good airport but totally surprised that it could win Best Airport, especially when I compare it to Singapore
I'd love to find a video of the extra legroom seats up the front of the peconomy cabin anywhere, but there arent any, everyone shows the ones near the toilets at the back ): i paid $600 for them, rip.
I flew with this Turkish Airlines in March (economy); IST to GYD. After service, the cabin was turned down and no crew member was to be found for the next 2 to 3 hours. I needed a drink and pressed the button until it went off. Twice. And no one came. What if there had been an emergency?
I was wondering if you can do a video on the new regulations taking affect May 1st in Turkiye. I am having a hard time finding an apartment for September due to the changes.
We are flying in three weeks from Istanbul to Melbourne Australia. We go to Singapore first then Melbourne. Same plane that takes 18 hours with one and a half hours in Singapore. Do you know if we get off the plane in Singapore for the short period? Thank you.
I think it depends on the type of plane for your flight, doesnt it? They are all different i believe. I have a flight coming up from USA to IST and it's different types of planes on each direction! The seat diagrams are totally different.
36k TL is extremely good for that flight, I typically pay around 30k MXN for the same every time I go to Istanbul which is roughly double what you paid…
@@BeryIstanbulTips yes you lucked out big time, my Türk gf is coming to visit me to CDMX from Istanbul and she just bought her tix for around 40.8k TL, not as good of a deal as you got but still pretty good overall (around 21k MXN) 🙌
Thanks for this video and to share your experience. Some questions: 1. Is there WiFi on board? (I know that sometimes some companies may have internet connection, sometimes is totally shhh and other times it works with an extra payment) 2. In the moment in which you've booked your tickets, were you able to select your seats without extra payments? I read about some general information about seats' reservation, but in my case, when it's time to reserve the flight, even if it's the standard seat they add me an extra, and considering the fact that I'm going to book 2 flight with 2 overlays, it is something to consider as well. The third question comes along with this one, so if you do not reverse your seat, at the check-in time I suppose that the seats are allocated randomly, is that right? I just don't love to fly, I would prefer to stay in the middle line.. Thanks in advance❤
I arrive in Kinshasa on January 9, 2024, and I cannot find my luggage. The same day, I fill out Turkish Airlines' lost luggage form before leaving the airport. I send several emails to the Turkish Airlines agency in Kinshasa, the first one being on January 13, 2024, to report my lost luggage, but I receive no response. Since January 2024, I have contacted agency several times and sent multiple WhatsApp messages regarding the lost luggage. In February, I call baggage service, and it is confirmed that due to your negligence, someone mistakenly retrieved my luggage (I have the recording of this call). Finally, Turkish Airlines decides that I must pay for the negligence of its staff and claims that I did not file a claim in time.
V mice however they didnt pay much attention to my bag it never left Istsnbul had to wait 2 weeks wih zero compensation in Mexico.. never again. I even emphasised politely re change of planes yet...😢😢
Hi im thinking to book istanbul to bali 12 hr flight with kids age 6 and 3. The a350 plane. Is there entertainment for kids like cartoons on the screen ? I usually go with emirates for long journey but turkish is coming out cheaper . Thnx
I have Nepali passport and I am traveling to Toronto Canada from Nepal. Both airplane is Turkish airlines. My 27 hour transit on Istanbul airport. Do I required transit visa or e visa? Yo stay inside the airport?
I DO NOT Recommend TURKISH Airline, poor customer service, short-staffed, no accessible manager and barely understand English! I booked them for the first time and this is a nightmare, I’ve lost thousands of dollars, I’m still in shock!
I think she got lucky w/ the empty seats. I just flew back about a month ago from Istnabul to NY and it was not very comfortable. The flight was full to the brim. The seats are not cushioned enough and the seats are narrow. I'm not that tall, only 6ft(182cm) tall and the seat space is a torture, can't imagine what taller ppl do. I'm hoping for Delta to start flying direct to Istanbul so that I can get a economy premium seats so that i can get some more space. When you're on a 10+ hours flight, I think seats is the main concern more than anything else like food or whatever. THY needs to up their game w/ economy premium which they had briefly years ago.
The food was great, and the professionalism of the crew was exemplary. However, the 787s they fly from Chicago to Istanbul have horrible seat space....seats capable of reclining way too far back. I had a hard time eating my meal due to the seat in front of me. Their shorter flight 737s have pretty good space.
Please, can someone tell me if the metro line runs from the airport to the city center, if it is in operation at all and what is the number of the line, is there a map of the metro line.
Yes there is İstanbul AirPort to Gayrettepe but yolu hava to walk to metro aldo there is another option there arebusses at -2 floor of international AirPort there go everypart of the city called HAVAİST they are nig coaches gör AirPort passengers
Hi Beryl thank you for sharing your expertise im watching most of you videos they are amazing and professional ill watch more of them in future I've one request for you could you please include where can we find to buy affordable and quality children's clothing and adults closing for both gender type and quality hijabs (head scarfs ) as a local person you're according to your videos you are professional im looking forward to hearing from you please keep it up your videos will help a lot of tourists i hope 🙏
I flew San Francisco non-stop to Istanbul 14 hours as well. overall I agree with your rating. I believe they shouldn't be flying this plane international
internaionally. The seats are too narrow and they are too close to the seats in front of you. All three seats were occupied, the plane was completely full. It was a truly claustrophobic experience. Food was so so as well. Cabin crew, amenities and entertainment were great. I did have an issue with security at the gate. Went through twice already in IST airport and they took apart my carryon, everyone else's too, I wasn't special and then we couldn't leave the secure area to use toilets or get food or beverages. No issues with customer service. I would fly again internationally but I would save up to fly business.
I go to istanbul with plane. I go restroom and find shit and mocha everywhere I can't believe it I wait 14 hour before I use restroom because I can't take it. Terrible time I cannot believe it.
The biggest problem with Turkish Airlines is non existent customer care that makes sure that customer is made liable to pay for something that the Airline is at fault for. I lost US$100 i paid for extra legroom seats when my my seat was changed to the worst one in the cabin. I always used to travel Turkish airlines from USA to Pakistan but have now changed to Qatar or Emirates even if i have to pay more. They need to improve their business class cabins too for flights from US.
I as a Turkish Australian wouldnt fly with Turkish airlines as I also don’t believe they have good customer service. I was on a domestic flight though . The food is awesome though.

Thank you for this amazing review. My parents are going to take this airlines . Tbh I think this will be 5x better than the Qatar airlines.
I appreciate this review. Me and my bestfriend decided to fly Turkish to go to Dubai and we need an updated/honest review. Thank you!
Abrazos❤
The husband’s note in the beginning lol I agree
We're flying with TA in July looking forward tnx to your video
Thanks for your video. This winter I'm flying to Australia with Turkish. As an extremely nervous flyer I was going to book with one of the top 5 airlines (Emirates, Etihad or Qatar), because that makes me feel more comfortable for some reason. But then I saw tickets for Turkish were like 600 euros cheaper, and went for that - including seat selection (emergency exit seats all the way), and was still off cheaper than if I had booked standard tickets for the other ones. I think I'll thoroughly 'enjoy' my journey :)
How was ur flight to Australia??
Excelente video,
He viajado en varias ocasiones con esta aerolínea (Cancún-Estambul) y hasta ahora, excelente servicio.
Incluso , cuando tienes una escala entre 6 -24 horas te brindan opción de tours sin costo. (Touristanbul)
súper recomendable ☺️😉
Saludos 🎉
im going to Seoul with TurkishAirlines i have only used emirates but this one was cheaper and this video make me happy with my choice! mine is a from spain to seoul and is 4 planes so i will have a long experiance with them!
Hi. Do the economy seats have foot support?
Turkish Airlines ❤🙏🏻
Considering the food, comfort of the A350-900 and legroom, TA was one of my best flights, I have taken. Flew from Istanbul to Singapore, Its a good airport but totally surprised that it could win Best Airport, especially when I compare it to Singapore
You can bid online for business class for less than 500 dollars for upgrade class
Tienen opciones gluten free y sugar free?
Do you know the difference between preferred seat and normal seat in economy class? of course on the B787
Hi Bery, have you done a video of Cannakale, Gallipoli? thanks
Nice report pls if your final destination is Mex city pls do us review if possible thank you
I am going to america tomorrow and I am flying with turkish Airlines I don't know how good it will be
I flew with them a few years ago and it was a very good experience! Decent leg room, amazing inflight entertainment system and good food!
How was ur experienced flying with them? I'm still searching for a flight.
hi how was the flight overall. Were they strict with the checked bag and carry on bag weight especially. Did you check in a bag
Hello is the check in bag a 24in or a 28in????
Is laptop bag pack considered as personal item in Turkish air international flight or is it counted in 8kg weight of hand luggage?
I'd love to find a video of the extra legroom seats up the front of the peconomy cabin anywhere, but there arent any, everyone shows the ones near the toilets at the back ): i paid $600 for them, rip.
I have one important question, does it have usb for the new type C charger of IPhone??? (Someone that recently went in economy can you let me know)
Good question! I didn’t check it because I always travel with a power bank in my bag. Let’s see what others can share about it.
I flew with this Turkish Airlines in March (economy); IST to GYD.
After service, the cabin was turned down and no crew member was to be found for the next 2 to 3 hours.
I needed a drink and pressed the button until it went off. Twice. And no one came.
What if there had been an emergency?
I will never fly with turkish airlines. I had this issue. The service was horrible
Few days ago booked New York to. Dhaka…
Safe take-off and safe landing ♥️
I was wondering if you can do a video on the new regulations taking affect May 1st in Turkiye. I am having a hard time finding an apartment for September due to the changes.
Charging pot on economy?
Did you pay for airplane wifi/internet?
how much for extra 2 check in bags?
We are flying in three weeks from Istanbul to Melbourne Australia. We go to Singapore first then Melbourne. Same plane that takes 18 hours with one and a half hours in Singapore. Do you know if we get off the plane in Singapore for the short period? Thank you.
I have an atl to Istanbul econo flight coming up and I’m worried.
Right? I was also surprised by the price considering that it was a last minute ticket 😄
Some questions:
1. Is there WiFi on board? (I know that sometimes some companies may have internet connection, sometimes is totally shhh and other times it works with an extra payment)
Can you talk about the in flight baggage? Like can I have a carry on as well as a personal item like a backpack? I’m not sure how it works.
Yes you can have a carry on and a personal bag
Woow ❤❤❤❤❤✈️✈️✈️✈️
@BeryIstanbulTips did you pick your seat ahead of time?
Yes, I always do :)
V mice however they didnt pay much attention to my bag it never left Istsnbul had to wait 2 weeks wih zero compensation in Mexico.. never again. I even emphasised politely re change of planes yet...😢😢
Is this flight Boeing 777?
Pls how hours from Saudi Arabia to turkey
No idea!
8:32 she was Expecting an all you can eat In flight buffet…
Nice Sister ❤❤❤
Hi im thinking to book istanbul to bali 12 hr flight with kids age 6 and 3. The a350 plane. Is there entertainment for kids like cartoons on the screen ? I usually go with emirates for long journey but turkish is coming out cheaper . Thnx
I have Nepali passport and I am traveling to Toronto Canada from Nepal. Both airplane is Turkish airlines.
My 27 hour transit on Istanbul airport.
Do I required transit visa or e visa? Yo stay inside the airport?
I love there snack sandwich made of cheese and pepper 😅
I DO NOT Recommend TURKISH Airline, poor customer service, short-staffed, no accessible manager and barely understand English! I booked them for the first time and this is a nightmare, I’ve lost thousands of dollars, I’m still in shock!
Are they flying Boeing? Make sure you check the door yourself!
😩😩😩😩
Idk if it’s me but the flights be so hot normally planes be too cold but not tk
And what is in Turkey by the way poor food expensive all things even a drink is more than 1500 pkr
that plane looks much newer and fresher than the ist; lax flight
Oh, yes! Mex-Ist route has a very nice aircraft, newer and nicer than the ones used in many major routes to/from the U.S.😁
You continuously show an A380 plane. Turkish Airlines do not have any A380 jets.
‘Continuosly’? This is the first video I make reviewing Turkish Airlines and never mentioned what kind of plane it was 🤣
No more two checked bags for international flights economic. Extrafly option at extra fee
What do you mean? Can you tell me in details?
internet?
Enjoy traveling ✈️✈️✈️🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻💞💞
Thank you!

Luckily I haven’t had to deal (yet) with customer service, hope it stays like that because I have also heard bad experiences about that! 🥺
I as a Turkish Australian wouldnt fly with Turkish airlines as I also don’t believe they have good customer service. I was on a domestic flight though . The food is awesome though.
Are still they demand for covid vaccination card?
@@ezashahid6357hayır
it’s been at least 2 years now that a Covid card was required to enter a county.
One time flew with turkish airlines was too much. Never ever agaib
