But, it's his personal choice, right? 😉 Just like not wearing a mask or not getting vaccinated during a pandemic. I mean, you could kill maybe 10 people max in a car crash with a school bus or something. Transmitting COVID could kill who knows how many. No, but seriously, don't drink and drive. Or be anti-vax.
Jesus this was cut for time? Start prioritizing these cause this was the funniest sketch all night! These guys never miss they’re officially my new favorite comedians!
I'm always like why do they cut the sketches I find the funniest? And then I ask myself if I would attend the live showing as a test audience member and then I realize it all makes sense.
I honestly think it's good that SNL doesn't pressure them to pump out multiple sketches a week - I think that's why they can do one perfect one every week - all artists need enough time to cook before producing for an audience
I think these are “cut for time” because SNL knows they have an online fan base that will come and watch and appreciate. Which also brings more traffic to all of the other vids
the reason do not destroy works so well is because they have one sketch to write and produce and film a week. if they were to have there own show the quality of the sketches would go down rapidly.
Lots of writers are not good actors. These guys are basically just playing themselves placed into odd scenarios. I can't imagine any one of them playing outside of themselves.
@@noitallmanaz I don’t really think this at all. It’s certainly not the same, but we’ve already seen The Lonely Island do their thing years ago with “Digital Shorts.” Andy became a cast member, and they still did just fine. Seeing these three work together the way they do is super great, but individually they all have great comedic timing and intuition. I think they would all do very well individually as a featured actor in a sketch. That being said, it would be weird seeing two out the three maybe, and if *all* three were in a sketch it may be too much (or take over), but individually I think it’s be great. It’ll be interesting to see how SNL uses them in the future given their immediate popularity though. I hope they adjust well into it.

the one thing i love is the mannerisms , the older martin has the same cadence as the younger martin, Joke first then explanation, is exactly how martin talks too in his sketches " sure ill give a you a treat! a one way trip to hell " , the old man does the exact same line set-up
This should have been the cold opening, just like how the 1970s episodes had cold openings that were just random situations (usually set up as an excuse for Chevy Chase to pratfall, but there were times where it was something like torturing an Irishman with potatoes or performing cheap and quick gender reassignment surgery on someone) instead of what happened in the news this week.
@@candykittycat2007 Yes! I watch SNL to get away from all the topical/political stuff. Something like a mental respite from the current events. Seems impossible now with late night talk shows and SNl's satire.

Like a cool breeze. I get the fact that they are not The Lonely Island, their comedy style is completely different, but they just came in in these desperate times like The Lonely Island in 2000s.
My favourite thing about snl hands down these guys are hilarious three sad virgins with Pete Davidson had me in stitches and still does every time I watch it I hope they stay with snl for a long time big fan

They also do a lot of writing for sketches they aren't in. They have been a big asset this season.
Facts
These guys are some of the funniest people ever on SNL. Not one sketch has missed
I know
literally
AND YET... this one was cut for time.
(At least we can see it on RUclips)
If only Lorne let them have the Hosts be more involved in their Sketches. Maybe they'd get more views too.

The pacing and comedic timing of this sketch was on point! I probably would be grilling my future self too if I appeared to me.

Ok

I am so glad that these guys joined SNL this season. They are so good with their timing and jokes. They are always a highlight of the day 😝😊😍
Astro ttttttturf
"I turn into Paulie Walnuts!" did not get the laughs it deserves. 😄
I’m glad someone else thought so too. That was a great line covered up by laughs.
I guess no one here watched the Sopranos
I laughed, but I don't know any Sopranos names - I'm half Italian and thought it's just a perfectly hilarious goombah name 🤷♀️
Honestly I feel like Please Don't Destroy has many great lines in their videos that fly over the audience's heads
Best line in the skit!
“Get your hands off him before I call my guys!” 😂

I detected a hint of Conan, "why are you the saddest man I've ever seen in my whole life?"

I love the ending with the older versions going “Live from NY…” because it implies that the PDD guys never got famous enough to host 😂
They need to host. They are so funny together, but I don’t know individually
Kyle and Beck were always my favorite part of snl. These guys really have filled the void ❤️
These are the videos I most look forward to every week, PDD guys are awesome.
Even if it doesn't make it on the show?

If Lorne doesn't figure out a way to give these guys their own sketch show, then comedy central needs to offer them something. They're so good!
central comedy has some good shows like Park South and City Broad 👌
I think it might ruin it? Not sure (?) it’s so great just as it is.
Central comedy? Twice? Sounds like an infirmary unit

These guys are definitely gonna become cast members next season. It’s not unusual for writers to become cast members
