    Pore water pressure acts on all the direction but why it is considered @12.55 that it is acting in the upward direction. Explain please sir

    Sir I think effective stress is total pressure on the soil plus pore pressure

    Sir 2-2 per pore water pressure me seepage pressure q consider nhi Kiya. Upward and downward flow condition me.

      Section 2-2 ke upar soil hai hi nahi bhai...isiliye consider nahi kiya kyun ki seepage pressure soil mein hota hai...

    Respected sir, i have a doubt in this video that,
    I'm thinking that upward flow condition of water through soil means the water is showing the capillary action on the soil. If my thought is correct, then the capillary action of water will increase the total effective stress of the soil, (which was taught by you in the capillary effect video) but here in this video at the case 3 condition (upward flow condition) the total effective stress was decreasing. How this decrease will possible ?
    If my learn from the video was wrong, then please forgive me !

      In fully saturation soil capillary effect will not occur .
