Love the merch!
Caller to Dispatch: "He's on the sidewalk, but can a deputy have him trespassed?"
Dispatch: "Absolutely"
Disgusting
But how would they treat somebody they did not recognise holding exactly the same sign ?
The cuy ryker on 911 s the one that lied and said you were on property the caller actually said you were on the sidewalk at all times
And the only one that seemed like he was on drugs or booze is that first security guard
Question: Does this community make calls to the respective divisions when an officer does the right thing? To give the officers a "pat on the back" or a "kudos"?
You know the country is messed up when someone saying “God bless the homeless veterans” makes you angry and upset. Such a shame.
We're headed from a constitutional republic to a police state.
It is because they are ashamed that they are embarrassed that there are homeless vets.
Not just angry and upset, but "uncomfortable". The gall of that old security guy too "i don't want to talk to the cops just get this untouchable out of my sight!"
@@BuDu-ms2qe We’ve always been a police state. The country started with slavery. It’s just being filmed now.

But he's making them feel uncomfortable !
It's the crime of the century
Apathy is the word of the day 🙌
Thanks to Jeff, we don't have to imagine that. We can watch silly everyday citizens doing it to him.
Thanks Jeff?lol!
Not only that, but telling partial truths and lying! It's despicably sick, people act like such losers! They are too afraid to deserve freedom.
Sounds like what Republicans do to Gay and Black people all of the time
The cop did just what we want them to do. Made contact and didn't oink any orders and didn't get get upset when told no about the ID. He honored his oath.
no,no,no, hell no, they should just inform the caller on the phone that is not illegal and get over it it is a waste of tax payer money and resources and a b.s.s attempt to deprive rights and not to mention a false police report the cop was given enough information on the call to determine this and also the caller should be cautioned on making false statements etc and investigate real crimes these Karens and Darens need to be stopped
@@timoshea7034
True but when the caller is telling ( lying) to dispatch he is on there property they have to investigate
@@spoonstir8675 the caller already said enough for the police to deduce that they were lying
@@timoshea7034.
Time for police to file charges for false 911 calls.
Except for the fact there was no reason to ask for ID. Cops do it, so they can run a check for warrants to justify harassing someone who isn't violating any laws.
Your mere presence has now changed St. Johns County Sheriff's Department. Not only do they greet you with respect, but make a point to be both professional and cordial. Jeff, you are effectively making a change in this state and in your county. God bless you and great work.
Love how the dispatcher said "we're gonna get him trespassed for ya" before they even get there or investigate.
Well, at least all that occurred was a waste of gov't resources having units drive over there for nothing.
Yes, the LYING can start ANYWHERE. The first guy SAID Jeff was PANHANDLING. The dispatcher changed things by lying. HOW ABOUT THIS CRAZY thought and TRAIN dispatchers all about the U.S. & States CONSTITUTIONS. So, the cost benefits to the municipalities would be HUGE. Dispatcher " Well sir/madam panhandling has been ruled on by the Supreme Court and IS NOT a CRIME"
OR Dispatcher can ask, "Which PUBLIC sidewalk is s/he on ? " I am sorry, I CAN NOT WASTE PUBLIC resources on something that is NOT A CRIME." What else can I help you with ? AND for training purposes, municipalities could have it SCRIPTED (& Clearly Typed) right next to the dispatchers work station. Someday after saying it enough, dispatchers/police might just GET IT !?
It would appear that the dispatcher is also on the low end of the evolutionary ladder

Props to the club member that was going to give Jeff $40!
ruclips.net/video/GK2po1nDsLM/видео.html
That club member should donate to a local charity like a homeless shelter or a veterans out reach rather than Jeff. Because he clearly can’t assess a person’s actual need.
Why would the dispatcher say they will “get that guy out of there”? They should be fired too.
That’s what I say
@@joshriver75 Wrong. It's not their place to decide what law enforcement will or won't do. They absolutely could get fired because it should be against policy to say things like that.
The police are not judges they have to right to tell you what they going to do the only thing they do is carry your ass off to the pokie and that's it
First aller never said Jeff was on the property. Dispatcher lied.
This was on the backbone of being on property their property.
That guy at the beginning offering $40 to who he thought was a homeless vet was the highlight of the video. It goes to show you, you can never be to old to be a superhero.
That's what you expect good people to do. What was unexpected was how respectable the officers were. A+ job to both.
@@manbunmyname5866 No matter how good ppl are I’ve never seen anybody give $40 to a homeless person on the street. That needs to be highlighted more than the cops just doing their well paid job properly

No wonder this still happens when dispatch is feeding into it.
Sounded to me like the caller was trying to get dispatch to think he was on private property.
The dispatcher didn't listen well and incited the callers emotions. Keep up the great work Patriot 🇺🇲🇺🇲🙏🙏
Ya, while officer behavior has always been the most visible problem, I've long believed that dispatchers are among the core problems with law enforcement.
Why couldn't the dispatcher ask pertinent questions. Like .... "Is he on the sidewalk?" Is he on private property? You know .... Logic. Stuff that would save the taxpayer from getting someone to respond frivolously.
Dispatcher Disparate.....
How dare you bless the Homeless Vets, the government has worked HARD to create them.
The real victory will be went the dispatchers answer these calls by saying "Sir, this is the police. We only handle crimes here."
That was really nice of that man to offer you $40. That goes to show that there's good caring people out there that doesn't put themselves above others.

The dispatcher needs to tell callers that law enforcement will be dispatched and they will determine if a crime is being committed. He gave those callers false hope! 🎥👮♂️💪
TRUE! FALSE HOPE IS THE KARENIC WISHES THE FELT BUTTS MAKE WHEN UNCOMFORTABLE!
The dispatcher was advised that the “panhandler” was on the roadway. The dispatcher then asked if you want the deputy to get him off of your property. The dispatcher LIED.
AND the same guy said "ABSOLUTELY" we can get rid of him...
Some dispatchers are allowed to lie, if not all?
IDIOTS working at the POLICE Station!! It starts with DISPATCH!! And IGNORANT Hateful uneducated in the CONSTITUTION and LAWS?
Dispatch call centres are a bloody pain, their staff have very little actual knowledge, yet they cannot help themselves but to try and keep their callers happy.
So they start giving out promises that the field staff cannot keep… because they feel the need to say what the caller wants to hear without even knowing if it is possible.
…. From this video I looks like the police dispatch suffer from the same problem.
The dispatcher could have been appeasing the caller so as to avoid escalation.
At least until personnel were on site to give a better evaluation. I did not mean for that to rhyme.
Would anyone else here like to consider any other angles?
Oh I see. Just the negative then?
Tally Ho the Status Quo. Now that one was intentional.
Sounds like dispatch needs to be trained to tell callers that if you are on public property, they have no authority to make you leave
Making the members feel “uncomfortable”. Really? I never knew we had the right to never be made uncomfortable by someone standing on a public sidewalk holding a sign. I’m a member of three private clubs and the thought of asking the police to force someone off a public sidewalk because they are standing by an entrance is ridiculous and embarrassing, especially if they haven’t accosted, yelled or cursed at anyone. If you know anything about Jeff Grey, you know he’s polite, respectful and doesn’t yell at anyone……unless they yell at him first!
Haha you clearly are not a member of a higher society private club, and good on you😜
I was taught that your 1st amendment rights permitted you to stand on a street corner screaming words that make your blood boil, but it's their RIGHT to do so !!
Sounds like you should hand in your membership and tell those big dumbies to kick rocks.
They're scared of the poors
Even if he was yelling and cursing he has the right to do so!! It's also in your first amendment, it's also a human right.
It amazes me how people think they can tell you to leave a public sidewalk
The guys says "he is on the sidewalk outside our property" but the cop tells him "we will take him off your property."
"You're making them uncomfortable just being here." So that's how it works? Hell! There are a lot of people making ME uncomfortable just being here, too!. Let's throw them ALL out!

The Despatcher escalated this! He put words into the callers mouths. "we'll get him off your property", even though the callers told him he was on sidewalk.
Also really pushed the idea that he may be on drugs or alcohol!
Good call David. I missed that and it is important since it sets the manner of approach by Officers.

A good response to “you’re making me uncomfortable” is, “I’m sorry you feel that way.” Their feelings are their own fault and their own problem.
I am beginning to realize that the dispatchers are at the root of many of these avoidable situations. These faceless nameless clowns embellish 'facts' and lead callers into making claims that are not true. Further, the dispatchers mislead the cops and give them the impression that a crime has been committed. Disgraceful.

Funny how the guard said he was on the sidewalk but the dispatcher says get him off the property but he never said he was on the porperty.
We need to really start educating the dispatcher's.
That's the key to saving tax dollars
Ill say it again....dispatchers are more than likely not allowed to say anything one way or another. They are tasked with just taking a report and disseminating it to TBE officers on TBE street. The dispatchers are NOT ON SCENE so they have no definitive knowledge of what is going on so therefore, cannot render advice one way or another.
@@HowieTheHat This makes sense but then the dispatcher shouldn't say we'll get someone there and get him trespassed. They should say something like FYI if he's just on the sidewalk we can't do anything but if you still need an officer to investigate we'll send one.

The kindness of strangers always touches me. I love that this activity brings out the generosity of good and humble people. It’s humility that’s lacking in those that call the cops here.
Listening to the calls. The arrogance and ignorance is amazing.
Dispatchers and police employees in the office also need the public photography training. They don't ask where the person is, not once. Pretty important. Also, "I'll get someone out there and have him removed", like he's a piece of trash or some grafitti. Respect is earned.
As for the police who did attend and did things the way it should be done, respect for you, well done. Now call your dispatcher and ask them why you are people called out on people not breaking any laws.

Why does the presence of a supposed homeless person make rich people so uncomfortable? That is the question they should really be asking themselves.

WHEN THAT'S AS VIOLENT AS HE MAY BE, A TINY SHRED OF EMPATHY IS DUE AGAINST THE RECORDED TYRANNIES AS THE PUBLIC MAY HAVE SEEN.
When the cops do the right thing they need to be commended as well.
Unfortunately, I think you're right. I mean, respecting these rights are the most basic things the cops can do... simply leaving someone alone when they don't see any criminal activity. Sadly, this is exceptional behavior among cops so... credit to them for being exceptional, I guess...

Wrong.
Doing the right thing is a given.
When you go to work does the boss say ....

Why do people like you think police should be praised for doing things the right way? Doing things the right way is a given , it's not some special talent its actually common sense.
It's crazy though that we've arrived at a place , wherein citizens are absolutely astounded and amazed when police actually do their job professionally and correctly. 🙄 I mean if I got a silly pat on the back everytime I did my job correctly my shoulder would get sore.

The Civil Rights Lawyer just did a review of a court case where a citizen was attacked by a cop for panhandling, and he ended up a quadriplegic. He was awarded 100 million.
Nice to see these officers doing the right thing and knowing the law.
And THAT, is how it should ALWAYS go!!!!
Good job, bruh!!!
7:25 that officer new what the deal was, looks like he was trying to get out of there as fast as possible 😂. He wasn't gonna get ID or a trespass order. Why don't the operators just tell the security you can't trespass off public property like that?
Except for asking for the ID and the stupid directive at the end this officer did a decent job. No contact was necessary however. If the 911 system wasn’t being used as an RAS generating machine half of these interactions would never occur. The operator asks questions to create RAS through hearsay from a person that isn’t trained in the law, doesn’t understand panhandling or property lines, no concept of public recording or public right of ways. Asks if the subject is high or intoxicated (clearly going to get a reasonable response every time on this question). Is he armed? Answer is yes the response is heavy. Answer no and the are trained not to believe it anyway. And of course the physical challenge on the call…he’s refusing to leave…a place where he has the right to be.
Such a well run system.
Their job is to take the report and give the information to the cop. They are not trained in the laws to make any statements on what the cop will do or if they should even come out. Asking questions of the caller is okay because the cop should get as much info as possible. The cops know the public isn't always truthful in their answers and they know dispatch doesn't always get the info right. This is why the police have to go on the call.
The way the system is designed now this whole interaction went correctly except for the 911 dispatch giving her opinions to the caller.
It is absolutely fine for an LEO to ASK for ID, Mr McMillan. It is when they unlawfully DEMAND it that there is a problem.
In this video Corporal Taylor ASKED Mr Gray for ID, Mr Gray said no, the matter ended. Perfect!
