      Meh. In my experience, 100% of people holding a sign like that are panhandling. Jeff might be the only person in the world that isn’t panhandling while holding a sign like that. It’s not egregious of use to assume that he is panhandling; we make these kinds of judgments all the time, everyday about a lot of things. The egregious part is his behavior towards another human. You just don’t do that for no reason. You can’t take out previous bad experiences with panhandlers on other panhandlers. That’s unfair.

    • @Jman531
      @Jman531 Год назад +2

      They always assume he is homeless and is panhandling. Which panhandling is legal in every city in this country. The Supreme Court has ruled panhandling ordinances are unconstitutional, everyone has the 1st Amendment right to ask for help. So any city that has panhandling ordinances and are enforcing them is breaking the law. Only aggressive panhandling is illegal, and that is when someone tells them no and they continue to follow them around demanding money. But if they ask and are told no and that ends it, that is 100% legal.

      @@aaronqueen55the problem isn’t that random citizens make assumptions. People are going to make assumptions. Not illegal.
      The problem is when citizens make assumptions and then the police use the assumptions to impose the power of the government in order to violate rights.

    Lord, please allow this man to see the error in his ways. No one should act like this, least of all to a homeless person. Deplorable behavior.

    Sad day for this country when supporting those less fortunate makes you the target of ridicule and aggression. God bless Jeff Gray. Thank you for your service then and more importantly now.

      Jeff always declines when people offer him money.
      Here is one for the genius cops to investigate: where is Jeff's begging cup?

    14.20 I live 45 minutes south of here and I can tell you this is EXACTLY how people around here think! Want to cry victim or make excuses for their bad behaviour! Mind you those are the same people that will run up and say '"Thank You for your service" to that same homeless vet they are calling the police on!

    Great video. It seems like people are learning about 1AA activity. Priceless that this guy was trespassed!

    This was the loveliest trespass I’ve ever seen. Beautiful conversation and I loved how the police politely explained to him how Jeff wasn’t doing anything wrong. Funny how some people get trespassed unlawfully and shouted at then charged with multiple crimes.

    Jeff thank you for spreading awareness about and for homeless veterans. You served us, when our men and women come home they deserve to be taken care of much better than they are now.
    We also need to get them to assimilate back into private life, and put veterans at the fore front for public and private jobs. Also it wouldn’t hurt to have a training course on what to do with there G.I. Bill, and other moneys, they’ve earned once they’re out.
    Let know if any of this stuff currently is put in place. I never served, so I don’t know. Thanks
