Eugenia Kelcy thank you for the Bible verses! Really appreciate it.
U r soooo pretty sis. Beautiful 👸🏾
My hair is too short, I can I use to make it long, happy new year swiri
AMEN!
1. Fenugreek seeds- soak in water for 24-36hs and use in spray bottle to hydrate hair daily
2. Don't comb kinks, put in protective styling (that lasts 4-6 weeks). I.e. cornrows, crochet, braids. At most, use wide tooth comb
3. Use natural products
4. Scalp massage with olive, avocado and coconut oil for penetration. Jojoba and grapseed oil for slip and shine
5. Conditioner with slip like sauve coconut
6. Have a wash routine. Don't brush when really wet or really dry. Use blow-dry tension method or threading
7. Detangle hair before seeing any stylist, or do ur own hair
8. Moringa powder in smoothies and teas
9. Leave your hair alone
10. Go natural
Sis Vic YOU DA BEST!
Thank you.

Thank youuuuuu girl 😘😘😘😘

Let’s forget about her long natural hair for a moment and talk about how beautiful and flawless this woman looks 😭❤️
Yes!!!
YES that's what I was thinking also beautiful.
Sisima13 Agreed, She’s a gorgeous young lady!
So Beautiful.Cant stop watching her She also a med student. Smart and beautiful. Where is she from?
Absolutely stunning and beautiful spirit
The next decade is looking like a good one for 4c
😭 2020 will be our year! 💃🏾🎶💯
Right I'm excited to see thick afro high puffs and long natural healthy hair
For all us 4’s💪🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
4C great things for 4C girls
Agreeed my 4c had frustrated me coz it gets all kinky after wash and I end up relaxing it but now I have spent the year getting my hair trimmed off my hair stylist said to cut it off in stages lol
Who else is natural, excited to see your hair grow and watching a lot of natural hair Videos? 🙋🏾♀️
Meeeee also is that Bobby was ur pfp?
same
big chopped last year march!
patience patience i need to remind myself
Did two big chops so you already know the hair stress and struggle i feel, my heart hurts right now but her vids give me hope.

@ChimereTrielle same
The fact you said you’ve never had long hair should automatically make anyone who is looking to grow their hair sub to you!
It’s me, I’m anyone. Subbed 💓
Facts
i was reading ur comment and realized i wasn’t subbed! thx for reminding me!
No
People really be hating on wigs nobody is forcing you to wear wigs she's just sharing what works for her!
Covid19 has me LOVING wigs!!! Been wearing and caring for my hair under wigs since late May 2020! Growth is phenomenal!!!
Me too. Love wigs but love my natural hair and am on the journey
My hair has grown a lot wearing wigs and I can be more versatile with hair color, length and styles.
They hate because they aint got no hair. I got 4c hair and had it under wigs. Especially 4c hair it likes to be left alone. It will grow like crazy
@@juliatripp2010 love my natural hair too Sis! Wigs just allow me to go about my professional life while rockin' out to my crazy braids underneath 😉! My hair has increased in density and I am so happy! Currently wearing 2 african threading braids in the front and 4 in the back!
@5:19 "im sorry it sounds like im fighting but im rlly pasionate about this" -literally every black girl. Dont apologize and dont explain yourself! much love
Even when my hair gets to this length it's gonna be like bra strap length because I'm nearly 6 foot with a long ass neck 💀
I know what you mean. I'm 5'11 and my hair is bra strap length but on a person who is like 5'2 or so with my hair would be like mid back length 🙄. So it may take us an extra year, but we'll get there!!!
@@naturallybran4240 the struggle be so real! A lot of the waist length girls are average height and under. When we get there it'll be deemed pretty impressive lol
I know the struggle. I’m only slightly above average height, but my sister is 5’2. Her hair looks longer because she’s shorter. Also, her neck and back area are shorter than mine. Not only do I have a little height to me, my damn neck and back be soooo damn long😫😭
Girl why you describing me 😭 I literally watch all these vids like it’s gonna take me double the time for my hair to look as long
Yanique West I totally feel u. I’m not 6 ft but I tell my kids all the time that if my neck was shorter my hair will be damn near waist length with 18 inches. So by the time I do actually get to waist length. I’ll have probably like 30’s Inches cause my neck length.🤦🏽♀️
Girl your literally the most informative 4C naturalist on YT. 💓
I agree
me writing notes like my life depends on it. lol
I was writing notes aswell
😂😂 I screenshot the list
Facts! The speed I got up off of my bed with, my husband was like "Ok! Where's the fire!" I appreciate you girl! Love coming from Canada
😂😂😂
👆🏽😂😂😂😂
My honest opinion is that. Individually we have to take pieces of information from here and there. Pieces of routine from here and there. Pieces of this and that. Get to know your hair. Love your hair. Own your hair. Pay attention to your hair. Be patient with your hair. Leave your hair. Figure out what works for your hair and stop minding other people's hair business. That's what worked for me.
So true becauae my hair and skin hates coconut oil but I have friends that only use that!
We need your skin care routine next sis. Then a vlog about your entire life 😂😂😂 I love it here 🥰
haha coming up!
Right!!! 🤣😭
Obsessions 😂😂😂😂i don't blame you though
Lol no fr tho!!

I found you 3 days ago& I am now binge watching everything you've done. As a dark skinned 4c hair having girl it gives me comfort in your experience because I can relate & I believe what you say will work because you look like me (representation is everything) I have hit a road block in my hair growth journey & I figured my hair would not grow anymore. I did the "big chop" in hopes to retrain, strengthen & regrow my hair. I have been up almost 2 days researching Fenugreek & adding it to my hair regimen. I am have purchased your moisturizer & I'm making your suggestions my hair bible. A woman's hair especially a black woman's hair is verrry important to who she is & how she moves. I have prayed on this & I know this will make a big difference. I am an avid follower now. I am so grateful I found your channel.
You are so right about stylist who got some reason are rough with 4C hair like they are mad at it and hate it. I had one braid stylist to RIP through my tightly coiled wer hair with a piping hot blow-dryer. I was fuming😠😡😤👿😤😤😤
I told another stylist about that experience and that I ACTUALLY LOVE my 4C hair, please be gentle and she in turn was incredibly gentle with my hair. ❤
“Our kinks are not meant to be combed” EXACTLY!!!!!
Elvonne's Essentials then my hair tangled so bad 😩😩.
W.Cinderea I gave my hair a thorough brushing with conditioner in the shower to get all the tangles out before I started finger detangling, also it makes it easier to finger detangle if you do it before it has a chance to get super tangled. The more I did it the easier it got (I wear my hair in wash n gos) I limit to using a tool to once a month if that.
You comb it once a month?
Tonya Jones I prefer to use a detangling brush but I only need to use it when I fall off my normal routine
You don't ever have itchy scalp?
When my hair gets this long I’m not wearing weave but then I know I’m lying bc I HATE combing my head lawd 😭
😂
Try making box braids with just your hair. Or would that be bad?
Just wear twist
I appreciate you showing your hair as a child. You truly proved the stereotype that someone has to have long hair as a child will have long hair as an adult. Excellent
“It sounds like I’m fighting” lol it’s okay girl we feel you
Same I never had long hair as a child. I grew my hair out about 14 inches. I hit a plateau and yesterday I cut all my hair off lol. Starting this journey over again.
You look like a black barbie .very beutiful
who's daughter is this. she's cute as a button.
hoekage ...Aint she adorable!👍🏾
Hi I like your hair
How do you do it
Literally haha❤️
There’s something calming about the way u talk. I love u ❤️
The Etsy tip is genius! I have been wanting an all natural leave in and will definitely purchase from there. Nice video, love your energy 💃🏿
thank you :)
I've been ordering from Esty for 2 in a half years
Your so pretty I can’t even deal 😍😍😍 your hair is definitely goals
I always do crochet and it grew my hair. Ever since 2013, my hair started growing with crochet so I know she spitting FACTS. Crochet, faux locs and braids are what I do and I don't let anyone in my hair except my mother and I. Hairstylists always try to get me bald I wouldn't let them touch me with a 10 feet pole. If you don't like crochet; wigs and weaves do the job.
“When they start yanking your hair cry!!” I love it loll
Your hair is perfection! And you look like a black Barbie!! I have 4c hair and trying to make it long, thanks for sharing sis! Blessing from Peru!
Low manipulation styles are just as good as protective styles (if not better) in myyy opinion
Elvonne's Essentials low manipulation styles is a form of protective styling.
Truuuuu (in my 2Chainz voice) 🤣
Well how long is your hair is it as long as hers? No hate just a question
Gerda pierre No, I cut my hair off for the 2nd time in March 2018 but you can see the length in my “watch me stretch my wash n go” video
FACTSSS
This is the first natrual hair 4c grower I finally stayed and listen to. Many 4c youtubers that make videos on how to grow hair long were pretty much born with it or had long perm hair before, so I never listened. Your pictures, steps, and video was very informative.
I’ve seen my hair grow and get thick when I deep conditioned it monthly, trim my spilt end every 4-6 months and literally put my hair in my favorite protective style ( two strand twists) medium size. Since I haven’t been moisturizing it and been manipulating it, it’s been falling out. Also my edges are getting thin. Back to glueless wigs and twist I go!
deep conditioning as I watch this.. I slacked on my hair so much this year.. no more though! Thanks for sharing!
I literally said that today
THANK YOU!!!! Finally a YTer who hasn't had butt-length hair since they were six years old. I've been natural my entire life and ive also been stuck at shoulder length my entire life so I WILL be taking notes
I totally agree with your explanation of what an ACTUAL “Protective Style” is!
Love the look you’re sporting in this vid. Again, thanks for Sharing this information & tips.
I COMPLETELY SUPPORT THIS MESSAGE!!🙏🏾👍🏾
Btw...You are way adorable!
These tips for 4c hair are so helpful. I have been looking for ways to breakthrough the plateau. I'll try these!!. Thank you so much girl! 💞
Lowkey feel like shaving my head and starting fresh 😕
Charlene .W. Yeah you should do it ! I have done it recently - no regrets!
Charlene .W. I did January 2018... and wore a wig until I could get braids. It’ll be 2 years in a couple weeks. It was a slowwww process but I’m starting to be happy now. Lol
use peppermint oil, the circulation to your hair follicles will increase thus increasing hair growth.
Girl I shaved my head in 2017... greatest decision of my life
Oo oh I've had these thoughts before too 😂
I love that you're speaking about the health of your hair, follicles, shaft, and cuticles. Your passion is infectious. You should not have to go through all that...before... you see your stylist!!!! Girl, that breaks my heart that your stylist isn't interested in the health of your hair. Fire them!!!!!!!!!! A great hairdresser teaches you how to properly care for your hair by doing just that. I loooove my hairdresser, I'm almost at operation waist length because of her. Even when I had to stop going to her because I couldn't afford to, she taught me how to properly care for my 4c hair. Stylist/hairdressers that don't have this type of passion...need to find a new line of work.
Gosh I love your personality. I'm really feeling this girl. Keep up the good work hun
I thank god for you!! You are helping me. I just done the big chop a few days ago and now I’m watching your videos like everyday! Please continue what your doing and god will bless you for your selfless sacrifices.🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I absolutely love the fact that you didn't talk down on yourself and you embraced your hair texture and you proved my brother wrong that "4c hair doesn't grow" the reason why our black women's hair doesn't grow is because the relax it and leave there hair out and comb it. I love this video because im a 12 year old girl who is struggling to grow her hair. Thanks for this video now im going to try these methods
I thought i was the only one who questions hairstylists’ method of combing hair!!!! Unbelievable, heartless, careless! How can they advice me after that?!?!
I really love your sense of humor, I like the fact that you are real, I laughed so hard when you said "my hair grows and yours don't" lol and then said you are probably not going to come back but pls do"🤣. You are funny girl, love from Nigeria
For the first time ever in my life, and I am 62, I got crochet braids. I took them out myself and did not know that there were some braids, of my own hair that I did not take down. I washed my hair and it matted. In a panic I pulled out my hair trying to comb through it and now its thin. I retained some of the length but the thickness has gone. I was so angry with myself and now I am afraid of protective styles, such as, braids. I always wanted them and when I finally had them I screwed my hair up. I am going to start this journey again and try to learn about my own hair. I have been natural for at least 13 years. Recently I have been doing a lot of blow outs. I do not know what to do with my hair. I was going to cut it all off, then I remembered and you clarified that, a woman's hair is her glory. My hair is still healthy, I think, but every since that incident last year it is thinning. I am excited to use your products and begin a hair routine. My stylist does not treat my hair with love and tenderness. She pulls and tugs. I am going to take control of my own hair journey and get it back.
Good tips! Getting rid of detangling tools helped my hair out a lot this year. Lol I was dying when you said "Cry, it helps." 😂😂 Also, you're beautiful ♥️
"Sir, ma'am, sir, stop" lmao I love you
Girl I am more than motivated to try out your tips. You are gorgeous by the way❤
Soooo much truth in this video. Cant wait for your next one, Queen!
When do you let your hair out? And for how long? I would hate to do all this work and not even show it off a little lol
Daniyella Harmon Same. I don’t care if it’s waist length(which is the holy grail length amongst black people), if I have to keep it under a wig for a lifetime for it to grow and stay long, then I don’t want it.
@@generalidakatana2561 You dont have to wear a wig am going to butt length just leave your hair alone. I do braids with own hair and twists i hate wigs
Tis witchcraft is holy grail length? I never really cared for it to be that long. I would be trying to cut it off honestly
Daniyella Harmon yeah! Don’t understand why us black women hate relaxed hair but love wigs😏
@@butterfly9274 Look up what Relaxers does to black women bodies/ internal system, maybe that's the reason they would rather wear a wig than relax their hair. There are wigs that looks similar to African American hair or maybe they want to play with color.
Speak passionately. Always. It didn’t seem like you were fighting. AT ALL. much love 💚 thanks for the tips boo
Glad i came across your channel! Love how transparent you were, you just earned a subs🥰

I'm so happy you mentioned the growth plateau because I'm experiencing that right now and it's been confusing me so I'm happy to hear that it is a thing that other people go through
I do 2 months as well, and I’ve been keeping up with the 2 months wash period for 3 and a half years now; my hair surpasses mid back. It’s a great way to grow kinky/curly hair, but in between time it is absolutely essential to oil/moisturize your hair(every 2-3 days). Great tips btw!!!!!
for years I would do SIX months hahaha I called it the leave it the f alone method. hahahaha
I love this. Thank you for the best advice and different advice from the basic stuff everyone keeps giving. I’m 4c and I’ve plateaued. So I’m definitely going to try all of this.! 🙌🏽 new subbie.!
Great job w/ explaining your hair tips! I definitely wrote down the info. Thank you for your insight!
Wow Kelcy, well done. I like the part that you said leave ur hair alone. Leaving ur hair alone just allows ur hair to breathe and to make it grow the natural and not the forceful way. I like to keep my braids for a long time but alongside,I apply all the oils you mentioned, so am good to go. And that’s how I grow my hair. U and I speak the same hair language 😍. I really enjoyed watching your video👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Hello Eugenia,
I love watching your videos. They are very informational and extremely helpful.
Since watching your videos, I've started using the Aloe Vera Juice, MSM, and Fenugreek mixture and my hair has so totalky grown! I'm like wow. I've never had long hair before but like you said about these all natural products: they work!
My length before using was probably to the nape of my head, but now a little past my shoulders! It only been about a month if using it, that's what is amazing to me!
Thank you for sharing all if your contents. It's truly been a blessing to me!!!
I don't like videos where people chat for long, but this one is worth it. Thanks for the info.
Your literally so pretty omg ✨
You are gorgeous girl & with a beautiful personality. Your skin is flawless. I love my people 💕
Great advice! I totally agree with using natural hair products made by small businesses on Etsy. I have an Etsy store & I also customize natural healing-care products for my customers using only the best organic, hand, picked ingredients. I also make everything to order, so it's fresh & better quality than the products sitting on the shelves at the store & in warehouses for months or sometimes years before it reaches the consumer. I'm on my natural hair journey & I'm starting a new RUclips channel sharing some of the tips that have worked for my super curly hair, starting with healing from the inside out. Your channel has inspired me! Keep up the great work! You're beautiful!!
Your young but you broke it all dowwwn girl! The best realistic tips Ive heard dear thank youuuu will defo follow your advice.
0:11 You look absolutely gorgeous in that oufit. Everything is literally beautiful about you. Your hair and your skin are so flawless
You're so right about not detangling on wet hair, esp if you have fine hair like me. Even though our hair is stronger than straight hair and can be combed wet without being ripped to shreds doesn't mean it's still not in a very weak state.
It's best to detangling on DAMP/slightly wet hair period.
Your hair isnt constantly shrinking up on it's self either like it does when wet=more progress.
I learned that the hard way when I used a tangle teezer in shower😭

@@GoldenKay19 Me too, I can relate. Excedrin extra strength helps me but I heard they won't be making the ones specifically for migraines anymore not sure if its temporary or not. Its extremely expensive on Amazon and not much sellers has it on there selling either. I hope that helps you.

so glad i found your channel and im so excited to try some of your tips for my 4c hair!! i've been natural since 2015 and my hair is struggling, it fell out after i miscarried a year and a half ago , it was growing okay before that , but i noticed when i got pregnant my hair really jumped and then after it fell out and hasn't been the same since then. can't wait to try some of this stuff out!!
I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage last week Thursday and pain of it none can fathom. May God heal you and restore you even the hair
Love this video. Lol I so agree with the detangling before going to a hair dresser. I haven't found one yet that takes the time to detangle my hair with out ripping it out!!!!
Someone may have already asked this but how often do you wear your hair out and enjoy your natural hair?
Thanks for sharing your journey and routine beautiful I love seeing how other naturals grow and maintain healthy natural hair. Looking forward to more videos. :)
When you said, "at least I have long hair and you don't," I laughed so hard. I love your energy and honesty. 🩷
"At least I got long hair and you dont." 🤣🤣🤣You are so so right. Leave your hair alone, and yeah, your hair may look hella raggedy under your wig, but youre growing it!!! Your advice is spot on!!
Girl yes to you!!!! Finally someone who’s actually 4C talking facts and with results to show. You are heaven sent! One question: where do you buy your Moringa powder?
i get them on etsy
You're so cute and helpful! Just want to say that in high school I texturized my hair and grew it long and yes, it's practically the same as with natural hair when it comes to sealing and moisturizing, protective styling, all of those are still important for retaining any length whatsoever!
sorry for the late reply but does texturizing your hair make it curlier
You are soooo cute!! Been binging your stuff and can’t wait to order my hair products
I don’t really like braids. They look amazing, but they always feel too tight! I am, however, a twist advocate.
I like twists in itself just not flat twists
I vowed for 2020, I'm not doing anymore braid outs or braids. My hair isn't receptive to it, but loves twist.
Diana Gunn
Same!
Careful of those twists. I used to twist as a protective under my wigs but then i got a quarter size "bald" patch in the back. My hair completely broke off. Could be from stress or diet but im back to looser cornrows.
I combat this by learning to braid my own hair. I'm not the most patient person so it took a while to get into but I've been braiding my own hair for a couple of years and my hair has done so well.
*You are so freaking pretty. Your red undertone skin & that Rapunzel hair 🤯 Beautiful* ✨🧜🏿♀️❤️
