We keep it simple as well. I do an Easter egg hunt because this is the only one they get BUT the candy that's in the eggs is primarily what they get aside from a couple nicer pieces of candy that they don't typically get throughout the year inside their baskets. I have also stuffed eggs with stickers, bubbles, erasers, stamps or anything small that fits. Baskets are always practical and simple things like bubbles, sidewalk chalk, crayons, coloring book etc. If we have family that comes with kids, then I do an Easter Egg hunt outside and then the eggs are empty and everyone returns their eggs to claim their "small" prize which usually consists of a goodie bag with fruit snacks, crackers, applesauce anf and other healthy but fun snacks. We make Jesus the focus but also make it fun and memorable for the kiddos❤. Love your videos!
I love your ideas for an Easter basket! We actually usually make a game out of it so the Saturday before Easter we will go pick out some rocks and that day will put rocks in the baskets to represent the tomb. On Easter morning to the kids wake up and I tell them that Jesus rose from the grave to conquer sin and death. I usually put in a Bible book not always a Bible but sometimes just a Bible story book for them, we put in their favorite candy or two, and then we do some activities such as colors, coloring books, and fun things like that.
I always love to see what other people get their kids!! This was a fun video! I agree on making Easter all about Jesus and getting some things that are practical. I usually get bubbles for my kids, swimming suits, and some sort of sandals for summer. We have also done pool toys, little kites, frisbees, and water bottles in the past.
Hi mommy, I loved this video so much, so I think this year I am gonna put in some candy and Bible story books in their baskets.💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 And talking about celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, it so so true and important to make the kids aware of the real truth behind Easter… i do that a lot on Easter too, tell them the reason why we celebrating it. I remember i vlogged about it last year so this year I want to see if they still remember❤️❤️❤️
