they have a mesh option for warmer weather! dina -- babies can overheat and have serious issues, so this is a good question.

You sure that baby's one week old? She seems to have very long legs. My newborn is much smaller, which makes it hard to grasp where the legs should go. Nice music though.

Nana K.O. once the carrier is on properly and its so that you can pull the insert padding out to the sides to hold the baby in better and make it more comfortable

This doesn't work for newborns. Their legs are crossed and no way they can open up in a M shape. May be more useful for 2 months or older.
