Thank you for the tips! I will sure try them. Do you also have an idea of what to do when, with the newborn insert, the baby's feet reach the waist strap and she tries to stand up and get out?
I did get it at the end, but not thanks to the video... I attached the newborn insert to the carrier BEFORE strapping it on me. I just played around and with time I figured it out, seeing all the buttons it had and trying out which worked out better...I also looked for more RUclips videos. I would love to help you more, but this was 2 years ago and I don't remember it too well :( I do remember though, that you have to make the infant insert straps go AROUND the carrier straps. I hope this helps
This contradicts everything in the manual.. No idea which information is correct. The manual says to not use the pillow for babies 7 to 12 the lbs, that they have to be 12lbs minimum to use the pillow in the middle shape position. Horribly written instructions.
There are two options to carry the baby either with infant insert with the pillow or with just the pillow in the middle. So,the Manual says do not use just the pillow for baby below 12lbs. Baby below 12lbs should only be carried with the pillow inside the infant insert.
I used this with my son (he's 4 now) and I've bought it again for my second baby I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant. I love it! It seems a bit confusing at first before you actually use it but honestly it's so easy to use and baby is so snug in the infant insert
The instructions are terrible! The newborn carrier attaches to itself around the shoulder straps, not to the shoulder straps themselves… unless I have a slightly different one but then why would they make variations of one model?? Anyway, it took me and my partner some stress to figure out one out but once you get it it is good.
Okay, I call bs here. She's cheating, she has breasts. The kid has an awesome cushion there. Mine is like "clunk" and baby looks at me like "are you kidding me? Where's mom?"
the is likely the worst! is it so unbelievably uncomfortable for the adult and baby! what the fu.c.k where you all doing when this design came out. absolutely horrible. And this video... dont get me started
It does the job

This did not help me attach the newborn insert at all. Wtf.
What’s the weight limit for this infant insert?
This video didn't help me at all, still I have no idea how to use the newborn insert
Literally same. I'm even more pissed and frustrated then I was before

At 52 seconds: can you explain/show how to attach these straps?
Exactly! This is the worse instructional!
Agreed. Such crap amd 0 help at all
I completely agree! Like WHAT? Do we use magic or something??
I followed the instructions and my baby's head sits above the head support - did I do something wrong?
Hi Jeri, thanks for your note. Feel free to email us directly at support@ergobaby.com and we can give you tips directly. Thanks!
I keep seeing these videos with Velcro . Mine doesn’t have Velcro... I just bought it
That wasn't a M shape.
I d manage a whole semester at uni studying maths before I figure out how to ergonomically strap in my child.

Paul Litsakis really? My manual states that the infant insert is required for 7-12lb

Umm Nimrah I'm using it with my 4 week old. Started using it about 2 weeks ago. Works great! Baby loves it and fall asleep within a few minutes.

Worst instructions. What comes in the box is worse. What is wrong with these people?
Same ughhh

yes, women are different from men. :)
@@DistortedLinds holy shit I forgot I posted my frustrations over the carrier thingy. If you can’t tell, the little one is 4+. Time flies😂👍
This is the stupidest design I have ever come across!!
