I bought my first Charvel in 1987. Fast forward 35 years later getting a classical guitar performance degree (I play all styles), marriage (still married 28 years and counting), raising 2 wonderful kids (my son is following my footsteps with music and majoring in jazz drums), jigging, teaching, and now owning my own music studio where we teach music lessons (17 years and counting) what do I want to reward myself with? You guessed it - another Charvel. Just went down to our local guitar dealer and played this guitar. Going to be my next Charvel. Wonder guitar! Thanks for the video and please keep sharing.
I tried today an AZ2402 and this Charvel. The in between position of this guitar are Amazing, more alive and stratty of what you can obtain with an AZ2402. 2204 are great guitars
Beautiful guitar, but why on earth they didn’t add the Floyd Rose bridge is beyond me.🤷🏻♂️ Is like having a race car without the appropriate racetrack tires.
@@joeleerodriguez407 The tuning stability is great on these and you’re more than capable of treating it like a Floyd rose - it will stay in tune very well. You’d only have a problem with it if you were really abusing the divebombs and whammy bar tricks regularly and expected it to stay in perfect tune. For most people where whammy bar tricks aren’t an integral part of their personal playing style, this is a much more convenient bridge to use
It makes a difference. Here's an Ash vs Alder comparison for example. Exact same build (the DK24 HSS), same setup so very comparable. I prefer the sound of Alder in this video but Mahogny generally sounds good too IMO ruclips.net/user/results?sp=mAEA&search_query=Dk24+ash+vs
Guitars demos of gear are by far my favourite demos on RUclips. They push gear further than most people and the players are unreal.

That looks like a guitar that deserves to be played and played and played.
These players made every guitar sounds amazing
The guitar is phenomenal but the playing makes it pop very well man. Awesome jam.
Sounds darn fine!
so undecided between this and an ibanez azn. this looks so nice in that plain wood

I have the Mexican version. Lovely 😊
Hopefully my next guitar!!
The MIM DK24 also has a neck with graphite reinforcement…in fact the only difference between them is the walnut top and the Wenge neck
It´s looks like a Suhr Modern´s rebel son
That right hand at 3:04 is nassstttyyy

Metal Gear Solid for XBOX X not included because of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5, anyone?!

Has locking tuners
Looking tuners are great but you can’t compare a floating bridge.. it’s a metal guitar..
@@teknomanning my friend the fact that it has locking tuners has nothing to do with the fact that it does not have a Floyd bridge..

I would much rather have one of these over a floyd rose, much more convenient and practical
mahogany : not the best option to sound strat
alder 1st
Wood makes zero difference in an electric guitar sound

Great playng.
The graphite reinforcement rods have NOTHING to do with the string tension.
Bet they do tho
@@mountainman8775 They don't.
