this game could of been great with a lot of potential if every single level wasnt sneaking around, throwing distractions and taking on the whole german army by yourself.
yup, completely boggles my mind that we didn't get a campaign as a random soldier in the middle of the biggest battles of World War I. Sure, we got the prologue, but it only sort of counts. It was the perfect opportunity to do cool chaotic charges in no man's land, where you have different objectives as you move across. Then maybe one time you get pushed back, and you have to lead a trench raid at night. Just things like that. Instead, we get sneaking and one-man army bullshit. The only redeeming thing is that we got to actually experience though chaotic charges in multiplayer on maps like St. Quentin Scar and Fort De Veaux and trench raids in Neville Nights.

The first level with the Harlem he’ll fighters was just so good then it just turned into you vs the entire german army
Other than him parachuting from the plane and a seriously underpopulated system of trenches, the game looks simply amazing.

The only thing I don't like in BF1 is the massive use of machine guns and various "experimental" weapons. On the other hand, if 90% of players ran around with bolt action weapons, it would probably be considered "boring".

I have low specs pc and lack of money.....so i came here to see such type of videos because i love this channel....and enjoy gameplays......
you can play on those grafics with even shit pc's, just use cloud gaming, it costs about 10 to 20 bucks a month, much less then a gaming pc

@@user-ws8cb1vw4b Not really? The Asian servers I find are always 81 ms. It really just depends on where you live. But I do agree with the filter. I want to play servers where only bolt action rifles can be used

While also sprinting full speed at German soldiers from thirty metres away for a bayonet charge just moments after a shootout and the Germans simply don't ever see or even hear him. Yeah, very realistic.
The devs really thought dialing the moon up to 11 was the right move, apparently.

Another arcade game where the player can carry multiple weapons, endless ammunitions, take multiple shots, and being missed by an army of enemies. Also there is an historical inaccuracy of German uniforms: he is carrying an mp18 so I suppose that it must be set in 1918, but one of the German soldiers is wearing a pickelhaube helmet, decommissioned in 1916.

@@arko.0.1. of course is not an helmet that makes the game poor, but all the other aspects that I have mentioned in my first comment, I didn’t say that the game is poor because of wrong uniforms but looks clear to me that they didn’t care about it so as some other details. Imho is a poor product compared to other ww1 games and many other gamers thought the same telling that is just another battlefield game with a different weaponry and location but with the same behaviour, there’s no room for realism and people get tired of it after a few hours playing. I don’t understand why you put the emphasis only on the uniforms, I talked about weapons and carried gear, helmets and uniforms are just details, but added together with the arcade style of the game, is enough for me to make me understand what to expect.
@@ralf3431nobody actually cares about that stuff but you. nobody looks at the helmet in bf1 and cares what model it is, or the gun for that matter. it’s a first person shooter. you run around aimlessly and kill people, i don’t know where you thought this would be “realistic” but you’re at the wrong place

12:04 There's nothing realistic about this night lighting, everything should be a lot more dim, the moon shouldn't be putting that much brightness, the sky should be much darker in order to justify the stars, nobody would see a star with a sky this bright. Would it look too dark? Yes, but much more realistic

Parachutes wasnt really a thing since the politicians claimed that the pilots should be escaping from the war if they did actually have one.
Life expectancy for a pilot during ww1 was two weeks.

The first 5 Seconds of the video show that it's not realistic at all. It didn't have parachutes in World War 1
They did and gave them to balloon crew. The German air force also supplied parachutes to their pilots toward the end of WW1. I believe Enrst Udet survived jumping out of his stricken aircraft.

Explosions tear planes apart, not “bump them”. WW1 pilots didn’t have parachutes. A soldier on patrol would have his rifle loaded, reloading after taking it is unnecessary.
