5:50 Ain’t no way Jerry didn’t hear that loud ass reload and grunt… but then again, probably survived the Eastern front and developed hearing loss from the constant Soviet artillery.
I do wish that the people who write these games would put in just a little more effort not to make fools of themselves.
1. British airborne troops did NOT have reserve chutes - no point they were usually jumping at 800ft (in order to minimize time spent descending) which allowed no time to deploy a reserve. They did however have leg bags (for equipment and ammo) which were released on a long tether and then swung beneath them (not seen in the game).
2. British airborne troops used the Denison smock which did not allow the sleeves to be rolled up - and they certainly wouldn't have done so in a freezing cold aircraft fuselage.
3. Aircraft dropping troops did so in a steady stream several aircraft wide but flying at the same height (or close to it) they did NOT deliberately fly in at multiple levels (as seen in the game) allowing paratroops to collide with aircraft beneath them.
4 "L/Cpl" Esparza clearly has two stripes on his arm meaning that he's actually a full Cpl
5. I gave up at this point as it was all becoming much too annoying ...
6. Too quite --as example 5:40 --there will be alot of distant blasts.

@@senderoverland I don't think he's upset. Just pointing out the inaccuracies, which can be annoying if you know better. I spotted a few and, if you know better, they can be distracting and counter immersive.

@@senderoverland. It's not menial. If they cannot get even the most basic things, such as rank, correct, then what else is wrong. There is no excuse for very poor research. Furthermore, Esparza is not exactly a typical British name.

If you're interested in quality WWII tactics and story games, I can recommend "Brothers in Arms". I know for a fact that Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway was localized in Japan. I do not know if the first two games were localized though and the first two games dealt with the Normandy invasion.
I actually enjoyed this mission and the stalingrad missions more than the whole game. This mission here gave me medal of honor vibes. Especially the dday drop.

@@Rotterdam-ik3pwNot counting the VR game, it was the last WW2 Medal of Honor game, and one of the last 4 Medal of Honor games. Medal of Honor debuted back in the 90s on the PS1 and COD kinda piggybacked off it several years later, contributing to MOHs downfall
I highly value this RUclipsr's commitment to delivering high-quality and beneficial content to their community.
By the amount of shots the guy takes, you can get the idea that the chance of you dying in the first hour of combat is much greater than your will to survive and return home, in war we see how much our lives are insignificant to who finances the war, or rather who caused it, and that no one is special and the luckiest combatant is the one who dies instantly, in my opinion of course!
Good reflexion mate. Just look at the videos on the Ukrainian War how easily they kill each other, just by drones and trench warfare in 2023.
I absolutely love this game. The story is very immersive and the developers really found a way to make you fall in love with the characters.

Opposite for me, this game was complete garbage. Clunky gameplay and lots of bugs, and the insane amount of historical inaccuracy just steered me away

@@bryan70546 To be honest yes it was accurate years ago in the first games like the first game the second and the fifth I recommend you check them. even before starting the mission you see pictures and things from real footage.

35:16 u may notice that the ships are lined in a certain order and parachutes hovering above the ships. This is an actul plan done in D-day where ships delvering cargo and men are to follow a certain arrangment. The parchutes carry extra supplies to support the troops.

I don’t get why the Corporal (2 stripes) argues with Kingsley at the start who is a Sergeant (3 Stripes). Kingsley automatically is in charge upon death of their officer.

is this game worth buying? I play COD mostly for campaigns and was recently slightly disappointed by MWII (I loved 2019)
The campaign is worth it, multiplayer can be fun but its honeslty really mediocre and lacks identity, and zombies is total ass
