Hey everyone, slight mistake in this video. I mention the creators of this fan remake are remaking all 5 chapters of BATIM, but it seems they are not. It's just this first chapter as it was a free to play release originally from Joey Drew Studios. Which makes total sense. Still, this is a really well crafted remake and I hope you enjoyed the video today!
This is a cool fan remake of the first chapter of BATIM, the only few things I would change about it though is that I would have the original Ink Demon but touch it up for this and remove the axe mechanic like you said but I'll probably do that when if I go back into college, study game development and make a remake/revamp of the original game in FULL that means ALL 5 chapters!
You also made another small mistake. The music on the music room radio was actually the Instrumental version of the Bendy and The Ink Machine song by Kyle Allan. Build our Machine by DAGames was on the radio in chapter two.
I bet they removed the dart board because they knew they would eventually need to animate Henry's hands just like Aubrey's. From picking up key items, to playing mini games
@@wholetthisguyontheinternetThe guy who has to animate hands when he realises what Pastra is going to do when he sees Alice Angel: (Already outta here)
I kind of like how Mike plays Moving Pictures: Redrawn, it kind of mirrors Henry Stein's experience in the chapter. It's been ages since Mike's played BaTIM Chapter 1, and it's been ages since Henry's revisited the studio. In a sense, it's familiar to both the player AND the protagonist
I love that this version added the dialogues from the early alpha version. Especially the one at 6:57 where Henry actually gets startled by the bendy cutout. Makes it more immersive.
I LOVE how this looks. It's more broken down, much darker, and decrepit. Seeing Henry's model and shadow was very much appreciated. The eerie atmosphere kinda gives off an Evil Within or Silent Hill vibe, which I REALLY like. Even the sound affect over the voice recording, how the ink looks, and ominous sounds was amazing. This was just awesome! Even the loud knocking at 14:12 and the exploding ink pipes scared me, which was a nice touch as well. And Bendy's jumpscare animation was just fantastic! This person deserves a job at the game company to help the devs.
7:48 I am ashamed to admit that despite knowing about this jumpscare, I still got spooked. Usually you have to interact with the door to initiate the jumpscare, so yeah. I got caught off guard.
Honestly, this is a very impressive fan-remaster! My only critique outside of the weird axe mechanic is the Ink Demon model. I know a lot of people prefer the BatDR model, but I feel like having an graphically-updated version of the original Ink Demon (Ch4 - onwards) would fit a bit better. Because, correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't the in-universe reason for the Ink Demon looking different in DR because of the experiments Wilson was running on him? I also just personally think Classic Ink Demon looks creepier to me, what with the more skeletal body structure and the way he limps around. Another thing I found a bit interesting was the fact they used the old version of Lil Devil Darling (Bendy's chase theme) from Ch1 - 3, instead of the updated one from Ch4. I guess I just find it strange, cuz since this is supposed to be Moving Pictures remastered, then... wouldn't they keep the remastered Lil Devil Darling? Anyway, all that aside, I'm super impressed with what subrikedev has brought to the table, and I can't wait to see what else they make!
Using the BATDR ink demon is definitely a choice! I think, looking at it from a lore perspective, yeah, it doesn't add up if the ink demon has changed as a result of Wilson's experiments. I mean the Keepers and Wilson could always be lying to us, this series is full of unreliable narrators, but like, I feel like something that traumatizing would leave you changed in some way. At the same time, we're seeing a lot of the newer ink demon replacing the old within official products too, namely with the DCTL graphic novel, which, regardless of the book canon, is certainly an interesting choice. It's a little confusing, but I get the appeal to a certain extent. But regardless of that, I'm choosing to look at this fan game as a reinterpretation of Chapter 1 rather than a remaster. It's all a matter of preference, and if this is what speaks to the developer, by all means, it's effective. Is it how I would reimagine Chapter 1? No, but does it do a good job? That's subjective, but I think it did.
Yeah. I think the reason for the Ink Demon’s design change in Dark Revival is both in part to Wilson’s experiments but also because the Cycle was frozen in place. Since Bendy couldn’t be killed from the Cycle resetting anymore when Wilson arrived and Henry was locked in the Pit, this allowed the Ink Demon to grow more powerful and thus take on a new form that wasn’t his “Beast Bendy” design. It was because of Bendy’s new strength that he was detained and experimented on by the Keepers and Wilson as they couldn’t outright kill him by that point.
@@KatAlystsStage Yea Bendy the Ink Demon is kind of/is a very traumatized character who has been hurt a lot, in game he is a "one hit tank", but story wise I feel bad for him. Also what's DCT?
This is honestly one of the best fan games/remakes of Bendy I’ve ever seen, I loved the ideas they put into it and I really hope the meatly sees this and hire the people who made it because this is great, well done.
The lighting was lovely! At first, it was a nostalgic color. Once you turned on the pressure, it turned an ominous grey. Great use of colors and lighting!
I love all the detail the devs put in this remake! Even the little things like the plank actually falling down naturally instead of just plopping on the ground, the pipes bursting, and probably my favorite one, it's for a split second, but at 18:49 Sammy actually knocks Henry out with a Gent pipe.

Gotta love how they added some extra details, like what happened to that one cutout that got covered in ink, Henry's shadow, and all of the extra little animations and subtle jumpscares ^^ Love everything about this remake, and i will defenetly stay tuned for more of this game!
Seeing this makes me wish that hopefully one day we’re actually get an official remake of Ink Machine especially with two Bendy games coming out this year and a freaking movie it’s got to happen eventually 🤞
Well. It's really the only thing they CAN do eventually for Ink Machine according to Mike. It's also understandable however, that it wont happen until like 10 years from now. It aint even 10 years old yet rn. Right now i feel things like The Cage, Dark Revival on Nintendo Switch or perhaps the successor system, this weekends Secrets of the Machine or tba ones like Lone Wolf or Silent City, the movie and such (as well as the probably inevitable third main entry) are higher priority. But even then, they didnt say it wont ever happen. Just that nows not the time. It would be too soon imo anyways.
Maybe a separate build that you get for free if you already purchased the original or something, i personally like the classic (Except that mini boss fight in chapter 4 with that attraction, it is a pain to do with bacon soup cans) but the classic was way too glitchy before the recent update
I love how this remake takes elements from the original build of BATIM chapter 1 and mixes it with the design and looks of Dark Revival. To me, this is the definitive version of the chapter that started it all. Even though it's just fanmade.
But didn't the cycle stop running when Audrey reset it in order to undo Wilson's madness, even though its inhabitants are still trapped (forever) inside? Guess Bendy, The Cage will have many questions to answer

9:01 YOOO okay i loved the Pipe burst That actually made that audio log 10 times more understandable since you can clearly hear and see it explode like that They did well
My recommendation for the axe mechanics is, instead of making it that you can fail and miss if you don't time the swing, mistiming should only breaks the board halfway, and you'll have to swing at it again to fully break it, so you'll still be encouraged to time the swing to break the board in one swing. That way, you feel the tension but aren't harshly punished for messing up.
I actually really like this. The ink splatting on the cut out to look like ink bendy is really cool. The animation for when the ink demon actually pops out is so cool and I like the old dialogue like when Henry says “I need to get the hell outta here”
7:49 For some reason that's the most adorable jump scare I've ever seen)) 8:53 😂 14:26 The only jump scare I remember from chapter 1. Yet it has, apparently, startled me twice😅 (yup, I'm rewatching this video)
This remake is absurdly good! I loved the fact that they added the atmosphere of the Dark Revival and put in Henry's cut line from the first version of chapter 1 (I felt nostalgic when I heard that line).
Man this was amazing, looked so good, was really well made, added in new stuff to the game, more animations, Henry's shadow, a new Dead Boris model that looks like it could be in Dark Revival(there was no Dead Boris's in Dark Revival), had Sammy Lawrence knock Henry out instead of images flashing on the screen as Henry then passes out, and I honestly can't wait for the other chapters, if I do have one complaint even though I'm not playing the game is to get rid of the timing event for the axe, seems pretty unnecessary, but everything else was amazing and I'm excited to see the other chapters
I love how they incorperated elemants of Dark Revival, Ink Machine, and even Beta Ink Machine. Makes it feel so connected to all the major phases of this franchise :D
As cool as this is and i sincerely hope this project comes to fruition as intended with all the chapters getting remade, i wouldn't get too excited since im like 90% sure this could easily get cease and desisted and likely will since its a remake with plans for more in the future
This fan remade of Bendy and the Ink Machine is sick and amazing, I love the texture and Henry's design revealed from Dark Revival finally appeared in this game. Really love the new design of Bendy and the animation of him trying to grab Henry. You can see that Bendy tried to pull Henry in but Henry pull himself back. Causing Bendy to lose grip on him
Now THIS is the Bendy game I want so badly. Kudos to this person who created this game that brought both horror and fun. Hope we get more future Bendy games like this.
It's amazing how much detail went into a fan made remake of Bendy and the Ink Machine Chapter 1. As these guys really nailed the style of Bendy and The Dark Revival into the original game where it all started.
Ooh!!! I love how when you use the axe the objective says clear a NEW path rather than an old one like how it is in Batim!!!!! Its a fun reference to how it's a new version. I wonder if there's still wandering sin bendys in out of bounds areas?
Looks really good and you're right, the main projector room needs the spools spinning on the wall and the tape recording speed shows too fast, like you were forwarding or rewinding. Play speed is slower. A little bit of research into tape and film and projectors can help. Speaking of projectors, when you add the feed reel, the one with the film, the other empty one being the Taking Spool, the feed spool sends the film to the taking side, but in the game, we don't see that animation. I think these minor details won't matter to people who don't know, but we are giving them wrong information and those who know would feel the developers didn't research enough on the very subject they are making a game on. But I love how this fan remaster looks and I absolutely love the elements from the Dark Revival (Not to forget the additional dust smog, love it. Hoping that all Dark Revival objects placed in the game would work, otherwise they won't serve any purpose other than display art. I liked the fact that you could go down the ladder to see the Ink Machine and go to the back of it to see all is sides. The falling roof debris looks good and I would have added it as a falling animation as you approached. Where you play the tape recorder, the Bendy cutout falls on the floor and in the original, it just peaks which gives you the impression that Bendy is alive and is more freaky, while falling standee just ruins that in my view and I'd keep it as the original scare, because it makes you think Bendy i watching. The Butcher Gang poster placement feels too early in the game here and we don't need the information so soon and how dare they indeed remove the dart board. I liked the bathroom from Dark Revival and always love the idea of doors you can open, even later, if not yet, but I hate the idea of doors you can never open, not even as extra cheats for collectables or secret paths to other locations or shortcuts or some weapons. As for the Boris Collectables for the ritual, the Wrench resembles the bone, so it made more sense placed where the original creators placed it, because its that subliminal feeling, so moving it away ruins it. I like the new Bendy included here, but the jumpscare was too slow to be startling, he should have appeared like the original to give us a big shock. The Axe from The Cage looks cool, but the only problem with mixing elements from different games is the inconsistency of the art style. The outlines aren't so thick in newer art, so either it should all be the same style, or not used at all. Yes, timing the axe is stupid. Sammy knocking us out is not cool because we are not supposed to see who did it, he killed that mystery. You cant ruin experience by showing things before they are supposed to reveal themselves, it kills the horror. I'd support this developer, if they made the whole game, because I couldn't finish it due to the T Pipe bug in Ch 5, while I went through the rest eventually and the non-buggy version of this game will let us enjoy playing normal and other methods for achievements
Im just glad that most of the old bendy stuff Is brighting up. I feel as If with the new game and everything else Is a lot and strecthed out for the series but to see the older chapters relive again feels great
I love how they brought back the old music and even the lost quote "I'm getting the hell out of here" which wasn't in the final product but is lost in the files
Just played it before watching this video and wow, it looks so good! the animations and stuff, it makes more sense too, I'm excited about the next chapters!
I liked that small detail when her lowered the ink pressure when he went back to the power room the cutout got ink on his face symbolizing what you are about to face when you power the machine on.

And I thought Sans’s jokes were terrible my are better.
It was a good pun. I liked it.
His channel took off with this game, let him be happy
7:49 For some reason that's the most adorable jump scare I've ever seen))
8:53 😂
14:26 The only jump scare I remember from chapter 1. Yet it has, apparently, startled me twice😅 (yup, I'm rewatching this video)
sammy appearing in this chapter was surprising.
This remake is absurdly good! I loved the fact that they added the atmosphere of the Dark Revival and put in Henry's cut line from the first version of chapter 1 (I felt nostalgic when I heard that line).
This looks amazing love your videos SuperHorrorBro
Man this was amazing, looked so good, was really well made, added in new stuff to the game, more animations, Henry's shadow, a new Dead Boris model that looks like it could be in Dark Revival(there was no Dead Boris's in Dark Revival), had Sammy Lawrence knock Henry out instead of images flashing on the screen as Henry then passes out, and I honestly can't wait for the other chapters, if I do have one complaint even though I'm not playing the game is to get rid of the timing event for the axe, seems pretty unnecessary, but everything else was amazing and I'm excited to see the other chapters
This is a fangame i hope bendy secrets of the machine and bendy the cage will be released i cant wait the youtubers play this!
I love how they incorperated elemants of Dark Revival, Ink Machine, and even Beta Ink Machine. Makes it feel so connected to all the major phases of this franchise :D
I loved your Bendy theory hell it’s what introduced me to this channel.
Little nightmares 2 for me
This is a really cool fan game the extra little old Timey filter just kind of puts it all together 👍
That was a good pun in the Title. That's what got me watching it.
(Just lying i watch all the videos Lmao)
Ooh!!! I love how when you use the axe the objective says clear a NEW path rather than an old one like how it is in Batim!!!!! Its a fun reference to how it's a new version. I wonder if there's still wandering sin bendys in out of bounds areas?
They really did an outstanding job I’m so glad they did this imagine if they made the whole chapters 2 3 4 and 5
i heard the batim music and the "hey guys, superhorrorbro mike here" i felt a wave of nostaligia. holy shit its bringing me back
This was the best episode you did yet
7:00 I can’t believe people actually got scared of a cardboard cutout scary cats.
It wasn't the cutout itself, it was the placement and timing that tends to startle you.
I would like where is my lighter. Burn that got damn cardboard cutout 😂
@@moniquegreen9567 HELL YEAH!!! Burn that son of a paper.
@@moniquegreen9567 HELL YEAH BURN THAT SON OF A PAPER!!
That’s not a cat?
Im just glad that most of the old bendy stuff Is brighting up. I feel as If with the new game and everything else Is a lot and strecthed out for the series but to see the older chapters relive again feels great
The First FanGame of BATIM on VERY TIME, Bendy Downword Fall in 2018 wast HAPPY. Nice game
I love how they brought back the old music and even the lost quote "I'm getting the hell out of here" which wasn't in the final product but is lost in the files
We definitely need this a remastered bendy game
Bendy was how you got your start. Nostalgic, isn't it? And look how far you've come!
Oh.... My god bendy really came this far?
Just played it before watching this video and wow, it looks so good! the animations and stuff, it makes more sense too, I'm excited about the next chapters!
I Wish That This Was The BATIM Remake That We Got!
“Incredible”-Inkcredible that’s is so funny and really creative and this remake is indeed Inkcredible
bro made an ink joke nice💀
Bro Bendy And The Ink Machine is just purely goated, including the newer and other bendy games.
the graphics are amazing :)
I liked that small detail when her lowered the ink pressure when he went back to the power room the cutout got ink on his face symbolizing what you are about to face when you power the machine on.
I would really like to see Mike play The Sims 4 like one time😂.
I just want to hear him narrate a little Sim 🤣
This reminded me of how GOOD BATIMS audio design is I still LOVE the track that plays while the machine rises
1:05 is when it starts yw
I like how it’s Sammy knocking out Henry instead of him just passing out
Good Job SHB !
Thats really awesome.
Given Henry a model and more animation. I do hope Bendy and the ink machine gets a remastered
the new model doesn't make sense because that's how the ink demon looked after he evolved when wilson took over
I really like the added voice acting it brings a whole air to the previous silence when playing the OG game.
Halo
11:50 that's not DA games. That's Kyle, recording town.
I liked my own comment
Cool don’t care
Me too :3
