When I was a kid we had this guy in our area named Luey Ulloa. Back in 92-93 he was doing all the things barbers are doing now and he was a teenager. I’m pretty sure he is still a barber but I haven’t seen anybody as good as him until you. Keep up the good work young man! If you knew of Lueys cuts you would know how big of a compliment this is!

@@nato9157 Thing is, some of his peers do charge $200 +. And IMO his consistency is unmatched (at the very least, on camera). Meaning if I was gonna pay what his peers want; I would go straight to Beam instead.
I also highlight area; because a lot of RUclips 💈 are out of Cali, Vegas & bigger cities. Regardless, they're all RUclips celebs & do warrant at least some upcharge. That said...
Most non-RUclips barbers would still charge $50-$70 for this type of cut. Even then, I've seen dudes have a fit over a $25 cut. So it all comes down to finding the right barber. And a willingness to invest in your appearance. A lot of research & trial goes into it as a client. Especially as your hair evolves.
There are plenty of barbers that charge less. But you gotta find them. And you gotta try them. But no matter who you choose; if you want enhancements, you're gonna pay 💰.
The first $100 cut that’s actually worth the price. Dude deserves every cent 💯

We all get a kick out of the motivational speeches on top of the fire custom beats, laid on top of the crispy cuts, but one thing you have got to admit is that he is as consistent as the use of the word consistent. I say this because if you’re new to his channel and getting naturally served up random vids from his page as part of the algorithm, I can guarantee that if you don’t check the posting date or he doesn’t mention the year as of yet, you’d be hard pressed to differentiate a cut from 2019 to 2023 to 2009 for heavens sakes. That’s consistency. Secondly, he’s doing something right and that’s directed to all the haters, or to a lesser extent, the judgemental keyboard warrior naysayers who want to question his method and his pricing. You don’t wake up and have half a milly followers. Two, he only spreads love, so how can you hate. 3, whether the client paid $100, $250 or $500, you have every right not to ageee with the cost for the work done. Or b and moan about overcharging and all that jazz. This dude ain’t a budget, value, strip mall barber. But you bet your bottom dollar he probably started out from the bottom.
