We all need it sometime. You might need help moving the couch, so you ask someone to grab the other end.
Polly needs help to get her toys from under the couch, so she uses her buttons.
But “Help” doesn’t stop there.
The “Help” button can be used in any situation where your learner needs a hand with something. “Help” was Polly’s fifth button and it took around 2 months before her mom paired it with other buttons. Teaching the “Help” button is about just watching your animals to see that moment when they are trying to communicate already - and then go from there.

A minha começou assim, mas usa o botão "ajuda"(help) para pedir que façamos algo. Se quer que tiremos o brinquedo preso, ela pede "ajuda". Se quer que brinquemos com ela, ela pede "brincar" (play) e se não vamos ela pede "ajuda", como quem diz "faça alguma coisa!" Outras vezes ela só aperta o "ajuda" sem mais nem menos. Nesse caso ela não dá nenhuma pista do que quer. Eu pergunto "você quer ajuda para o que?" e nada muda. Ela continua a apertar apenas esse botão sozinho. Suspeito que queira nossa atenção ou interagir conosco.
O uso deste botão "ajuda" começou a ficar um pouco confuso...
