I'd imagine Richie Rude will have a good time on Stage 5, since he was part of the designing of Rude Awakening (the top part of the Stage). Credit to Knight Ide though, the primary trail genius up in KT.
Racing Upper J Bar sounds mental to the wee peons such as myself. Excited to hear how the pros get on. I know they’ll crush it but just fun to see their perspective.
There are enduro races in Czechia, that have 5 new fresh loam stages just for the race. Not a single pre-built feature. Not a single shaped thing. Pure natural enduro. Can we ever expect something like that in EWS? Trail purposely built for EWS and for the first time ever ridden on EWS practice day.
Does any one know the name of all the trails that are being used for the race? I believe there is Upper J bar, and Rude Awakening from the top, I cant really make what are the other two.
@@rpiian yeah, I meant in terms of the preview, not the actual race. Rode upper J bar last year, super sick trail and a little bit scary. Proper EWS track.
Nice to see the old format course preview back. Nice and relaxed presentation. Ric and Ruraidh are great together

Having raced some of these trails before, Burke is one of my favorite Venus
Burke is truly out of this world, so Venus makes sense 😎
Thanks for showcasing our great state! Trails around the state are killer and deserve some international love. Race on!
It's interesting to see Rick and Ruaridh on East Coast trails. Pretty much everything here is rooty, even the easy stuff.
They'll feel at home. Looking at the video, this is exactly like Scotland
Have a feeling if the trails stay like this the British riders will do well.
Ruaridh was looking rapid! Some interesting looking stages, the Queen stage sounds brutal.
Great preview
Yo sweet video! What kind of helmet mount is that for the insta 360? Really digging that camera setup and cannot find that mount anywhere!
Welcome to New England boys and girls!
Trails look sick!
Thank you kingdom land owners! Horses are cool!

Where to watch live!? Who streams it? What happened to the Discovery deal?
Very similar to yooper trails. Good stuff!
Just watched Jack Moir shake down video, this race will be epic I'm sure
Rory Rippin it like its his backyard!🤣
Ruaridh is the man’s name
I'm trying to figure out what trail they rode, since only parts of that look like the J-Bar trail I remember.
They are riding Rude Awakening to Camptown. The queen stage.

They did that in Rotorua a few years ago with Tu Meke
Sugarloaf should have a bit of that. Trails were built only one year ago and are still loamy. Trails at Burke are much older.
Lome tracks would be destroyed if thousands of people rode them over one weekend. Definitely would not be the same after
It doesn’t work because loamers get wrecked when hundreds of riders pelt the same tracks in a few days

Looks like enchanted forest, Black Forest, and lower jbar
What helmet cameras are they using?
looks like the insta 360 Go 2
Let's go!
USA 🇺🇸
Wish they would have done J-Bar, it's much more technical than Rude Awakening. A true test of rider skill.
They are, upper J-Bar. Much more technical than lower J-Bar.
It should be said too that lower J-Bar is stage 2, and looks like Jester and Black Forest are stage 3 and 4.

@@rstrakovsky Whoops, misunderstood there sorry - yea - proper gnar!!
Unless a top rider is from Burke, we should have a fair fight this round.
I believe Richie Rude is a regular at Burke.
@@MTBDennis They literally named a trail after him. It's basically a home round. Not that there's anything wrong with that :)
"course preview" - showing just one trail
