Even before he explained why it’s worst for women when it comes to poverty, I knew exactly where he was taking the argument. I’ve seen the exact same thing happen in my family decades ago where access to wealth, education, and basic freedoms had the most deleterious effects for the generations that came thereafter. I only hope Jamaica figures this out soon enough and invests in their people so that their people will want to invest their time / skills in the country in return.

Yes it is wickedness to the very self and insanity in the mind this is why we must rise up and be ok to come out of our comfort zone. The education and understanding doesn’t belong to us but it was an investment to use in behalf of the community. All through our western colonial descendants have this because the people who set out to fix the heathen world were the definition of heathens . So it’s the mold in which modern society is built. The question is where’s the fathers of these 4 n 5 kids, it’s difficult for a woman with them many kids to work anywhere, she already has a job. Where’s the provider ? Where’s the Family? Maybe that’s the issue. And why not stop having some many children, even if you have the means. But especially if you don’t. Maybe we should teach our daughters to stop spreading their legs for men without an commitment. Maybe, just maybe!
Do you even stop to acknowledge the situation too many find themselves in? If you have very little to begin with, there are far fewer alternative activities and options before you even begin. Then you take into account hormones are real and very powerful and get the better of any human being. There are also different cultural norms, so you cannot exactly replace their cultural standards with your own and expect perfect results. Also is such circumstances, what form of commitment are you even talking about? People can say all manner of pleasant pleasing speech and there is no guarantee they will follow through. Facts of Life. When you come around pointing blame without acknowledging the reality of the situation you are are only creating more problems and solving none. I guarantee you many have heard everything you have said before multiples times as well. In general when Life is difficult and people have few options the main result will be families with many children and sadly not all those families will stay together. It is a cruel punishment for not having opportunities still enforced by wicked systems that have no love or care for human Life and yet still run dem mouths about "human rights" when it is convenient.

@@Nkosi766 You have to live and walk in the shoes of those that live in a certain reality. Some women when living in certain communities don’t have the right to their own bodies period… when the gunmen send for you is either you go or a family member dies. Even when some of these girls try to hold their heads high the environment try to bring you down by claiming you better than, you might find yourself gang raped. Some families are so poor they are put out at a certain age and so finding a man is the only option because he will put u up when families won’t. I could go on about the different situations I saw growing up. Poverty stricken communities breed these situations of women with children they cannot take care of and there is not much help and resources. You truly cannot judge these situations fairly if you have not seen or lived it yourself. It is a very hard reality for many of our people.
