You should run a fan contest with your old save now that you'll be able to share them. First one to pay off the debt gets like a 12 month hyce ES&D train crew membership or somethin!
There are a lot of good. Looking changes. Especially the ability to flip pages and set your map without having to hold and look. Not sure about the no ability to walk through doors though, that is a huge part of my playstyle at this point 🤣 I wish they would add knuckles but hey, as long as the mod still works we're OK 😊

I look forward to seeing what shenanigans you can get up to in the game now that there's a mode where you can intentionally wreck stuff and blow stuff up without racking up tons of fees as well as what you are able to do in career mode now that you won't have to spend so much time just paying down fees because you decided to bin it or to blow up an industry just for fun.
I'm excited about this update. I can't wait to do a fresh start. I'm like you. My fines are outrageous it would take me playing the game 24/7 of two months to get them paid off 😂
it all looks so fucken awesome, i can barely wait. the only thing that strikes me as annoying is that you have to complete the "campaign" in one of the default difficulties to make ur own other than that, looks great

In that case: For us, locomotives themselves are on the indirect train brake as well. You do not touch the direct (independent) brake in train operations at all. The C pressure (brake cylinder pressure) needle shows the pressure in the locomotive's (or cab car or whatever leading vehicle you're on) brake cylinders, no matter where it comes from, whever it's independent or train brake.
now that we getting all these extras including alot of stuff there were mods being put in base game in a much less janky way, theres one thing they need to add it to go with the puddles. they showed off last month. washouts. so that if it is raining or has been raining and theres a puddle formed under or around the ballast of a section of track theres a chance itll washout if your run a heavy train over it and derail like what happens all too often irl. atleast here in aus anyway
I dont think I caught it in your Air Brakes 101 video but since you mentioned it here, how DOES one use the handbrake correctly? Do you have to set every handbrake? Or a certain percentage of train length?

I'm just wondering what happens when a cut of cars spawns on a track on a grade, the one brake isn't enough, and the cut starts rolling, through no fault of the player...
They should start selling some DLC for cars and trains and new maps as I think they deserve it. This game is really looking like a great kick in the teeth to lazy greedy Dovetail. It also looks like they are trying to appeal to the model train folks as well

Hyce. I have an idea for game and your baby railroads online. Derek's. 250ton crane with boom tender cars. Or RJ Coreman type crews with the 2 or 3 bulldozer mounted lifts. I'm a tool and machines nerd so i would 100% love to have to move and set up the cranes and Derek's. DRV alraedy has a remote control so R/Cing the recovery apparatus and having payable "rescue mission jobs" in the office after the C.R.& P or E.S.& D. Send a rescue MOW crew out there to rescue and rerail your mess. Epicness no legendarynis.
