I have one and this plant is stunning in the light. The silver actually shimmers. If you lost a leaf, put it in water and let it root. I grew another pot and replaced it into the mother plant, and it looks beautiful and full. What I found weird was the soil was so soft and smelled like perfume. I have never had that happen with any of my plants before. All I had to do was add some tree fern fiber and some biochar, mix it up and make sure all the vines that were on top of the soil. I also cut off one of the vines that was way long and scraggly and I just popped it in water that is full of nutrients. Once it roots, I am going to pop it in a Terracotta pot. I love using the small ones for propping and the plants love them. When they are big enough, I move them. The best way to water this plant, is bottom watering. It loves to drink.
My favourite plant ❤ I got one of these last autumn as a single leaf cutting and got my first new leaf grown with another already growing, I'm so excited 😁
Mine loves its location a few feet away from a southern window. It's growing like crazy and I just had to prune it and I'm propogating the cuttings. Fingers crossed!
Awesome Plant 🌱! I just purchased one and included it in my Plant Tour. I got mine at Walmart a couple weeks ago. It was looking so bad and was on sale for $9.99 ( 50% off) when I got to the cashier he charged me $20. 00 so he corrected it and it charged me $5.00. I took it home watered it and clean the leaves and I am really enjoying this beautiful plant.
You make me giggle in the best way. Three years ago when I upped my plant Love from 20 to 80. I went crazy and ordered the pictus from Etsy-I got one leaf with a root. Three years later I have three leaves and I love that silly plant. It is the slowest plant ever. I have since bought three more. They’re all in different light and growing fine. I’m in love with them.
I bought mine like 3 weeks ago and just watered it as my moisture meter read practically dry but I fear I did it too soon, the leaves are starting to all get wavy looking. Should I leave it alone or revamp it with a dryer potting mix? I done want to lose it!!
I think it should be perfectly going to leave it as is. If the leaves are looking wavy and the soil is dry, then it's probably time to water it. I think you're on the right track!
I searched and found someone uses some worm castings & liquid dirt or liquid gold fertilizers to make them florish. To bad you threw it out. I have been waiting for one for few years and just found a tiny pot with a discount of $7 because they over watered it and had 2 rotten leaves.

Mine loves being a few feet away from my sheltered southern window 😊 Definitely got burned when it got direct light.

Threw mine in the trash, this plant grows so slow i didnt think it was worth the effort. One leaf a year no matter the sun exposure.
Slow growing plants can be frustrating!
