That made me laugh....watching someone else lay mulch .lol I wish I had your energy to get my load of flowers planted that I bought today. But I'm getting older and it is showing up in my ability to work out in my garden. Darn it ! Lol.... But I shall not give in. Tomorrow I will plant ! lol
The way the wind was blowing has me thinking that you filmed this yesterday? With all of the wood ticks we have around here it freaked me out working in the garden yesterday, with the wind it had me thinking that those little buggers were going to fall from the trees and land on me. I have been spraying certain areas but I can’t spray them all but I’m going to keep at it because one of the tick bites I have I think is infected . I hate those things ! 💐💚🙃

I just bought 60 bags of mulch. My daughter and her friend picked it up for me 👏🏻 in his truck and I was thinking yay I don’t have to load it and I can wait to unload it as I needed to. WRONG, that was the plan if I would have taken my husbands truck but I couldn’t leave the mulch in my daughters friends truck so it had to be unloaded 🥵 thank the good Lord I didn’t have to do it all by myself. A Blessing in disguise for sure because even with help I was pooped. 😂💐💚🙃

I think we would all be disappointed if you cleaned a bed without letting us watch. I can just imagine all of us in your yard with a hush over the lawn as we watch you like you are a pro golfer making a ending putt on the green and probably Natey wondering if we would all destroy the grass. 😂fun to imagine ❤
Looks great. Those irises are amazing. For small plants, I find it just as easy to use a small hand shovel, stick it in the ground, pull it forward and pop the plant in before removing the small shovel.
Hi Jes, yes it was fun hanging out with you. I got one of my garden edged and mulched today also. It sure made my Heucheras just pop. It was so pretty. I love how you use stones in some of the gardens just is so showy. I want to do that too. 😊 it looked like it was a beautiful day there I know it was here also. Mulch can make the biggest difference. Your garden is all sooo beautiful. Have you thought about planting some Gerber daisies? I love them. I love blue salvia unless it's the May night that one has a gross smell when it gets wet. I grow the April night it doesn't have the odor but is just as gorgeous. I'm hoping to get more this year or collect some seed and grow some this coming year.

Quick question-do you have underground sprinkling to help water all the beds? I’m looking into it. We have 5 acres though… and I’m hand watering each night and as I get more beds done it’s getting old😆👍.

I purchased 15 bags of mulch. As a single 63 year old women it’s alot but…I got it done! 🎉
