Always loved Montauk, back in the 80s I used to drive my boat there every weekend from Old Saybrook. We would enjoy cocktails at the Star Island Yacht Club enjoy some grilled tuna, then anchor out in Montauk Lake for the night and then the next day go tuna fishing way offshore and come back for more cocktails..lol... lots of great memories and I miss it very much.
Your memories of Montauk sound wonderful, I had a small boat on the south shore of Nassau county. We've done a little fishing but nothing like what they do off the point. Cool to see the oldest cattle ranch and the fishing capital of the world! I always love seeing boat names...Fin Chaser, Free Time. We have a marina near us with a boat named Sea-E-O. Now this looks like an amazing place with a lot to see. I love seeing the coastlines. The boat with the restaurant was super cool. The big shark was pretty cool to. You are correct there are a lot of photo shots there. All over the place.

Montauk Harbor was beautiful in the morning, the wind was strong and loud, lots of ropes and fishing equipment rattling around , music was necessary, for some parts. I hope to go back again, to take in some nightlife at the harbor and Star Island. A woman pulled up and lit him out of the car to do his thing, I got the privilege of walking him. I even put him back into the car for her. Thanks for watching 👍
I love Montauk, it's like a movie set, but real. The wind was so strong I couldn't use the audio. I will be returning this winter for some hiking, there are a lot of migratory birds there in winter and a large Deer population.They even surf of the coast of Montauk in mid winter. I would need a bigger boat for sure, It's hard to believe there are fish like that swimming in the same ocean that I do. I still hear the Jaws music when I get into deep water even in a lake lol . Thanks for watching, I appreciate your comment 👍
Wow J Charles those cliffs on the beach are pretty high- I hadn’t noticed that in other of your videos of the beach here. Great docks there👍🏻 man that Great White would have been something to see in person! Great video
Thanks 👍 The Bluffs were very unstable but the view was amazing. Camp Hero is on the very end of the Island, I was camping about 15 min. west at Hither Hills the beach is a bit less dramatic but just as beautiful, Thanks for watching Happy Halloween👍. ~ John
Thank you very much! Montauk is a great destination, they catch some big ones there. The weather wasn't great fo fishing, the water was too warm, so I heard. The wind was making it impossible to cast. So I didn't even take the fishing pole out of the truck. Maybe next trip I'll go out on a party boat, catch some fluke. I appreciate your comment 👍

Montauk is the first thing you see when arriving in America from Europe. The Ocean moderates temps making the Island a great place for all types of animals domestic and wild migrating ones as well.
