- I wanted to reposition the ShelterLogic Greenhouse and had what I thought was a solid plan for moving it, however not all plans work out as intended.

Greenhouse on the run and a mini factory....WOW! 😂😂😂
Looking Great Dan, It takes years to get the yard the way you want it. Keeping our yard half way clean is a big job, The best way to learn skills in the skid steer is get in seat, everybody starts somewhere, your doing great. Keep the sawdust flying @alaskawoodyard, Cheers
Thanks! Yes it does take awhile to get things in the right spot...and then when you think everything is where it needs to be a new idea will surface about how things might be better in a different position....hahahahaha. But that's what makes it fun sometimes.
hi there you did a lot better then me at grading , best to all john
It's tough keeping the bucket level and not digging down while moving ahead. It wasn't the greatest but it made it better than it was. 😀
Now that's a Well Designed Production ‼️ Line Nice job Dan looking forward to Seeing how The Mini Hickory Firewood Splits Work Out 👍
Thanks...yeah gonna be fun with the Hickory, that stuff is some hard wood but the Kindlet should handle it.
You are Right on the Money there Dan lining things up. Will make it easy to put your Mini Splits in the Outside Drying Rack.
Beautiful Weather out till tomorrow then a Cool Down.
Little under the Weather for now but coming along now.
Getting my Saws Serviced for upcoming use. Stay Safe, enjoy and hopefully join in on Friday Night Live. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.
Was another nice day here and then cooling off as well. Hope you're feeling better.
Dan,thank goodness you have a great 👍 friend like Rick who is willing to help you out with different issues that you might run into with the wood 🪵 yard now things will be smoother for producing mini firewood 😮😊❤
Yes indeed, Rick is a helluva guy and a great friend to have.
Good morning Dan looks very logical now,👏🏻👍🇺🇸
lol...logical and me don't go together very often.
Great setup! Very organized 👍👍
Thanks...it's coming along and this will definitely help keep things organized.
Nice reorganizing 👍
Thanks...was nice to getting that moved before the snow comes.
Heck yeah shifty, looks way better lined up with the wood shed. I agree with another comment to make some mesh baskets that fit into the space on the shelves. Then you maximize your storage space.
Thanks....yeah definitely looks better like this and yes I think I need to figure out something for a type of wire mesh basket.
Great way to improve your workflow!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Thanks...will help with both the workflow and organizing things.
Nice job Dan. Planning this and trying ideas work great. If you have the ability, you should put sides around the panels so you can put more wood on them and not worry about it falling off - just an idea. Stay safe.
Thanks...yep I've got a few ideas for some type of sides on those big grates.
Sometimes the easiest method is the old hand work. Machines are almost always useful, but this was doable the ol' fashioned way. Well done.
Yep, sometimes using equipment makes it more complicated and actually more time consuming.
Looks like progress, Dan. That's a scary thought, isn't it?
Bill
Hahaha...yeah no kidding, but there's still a long ways to go. Getting the woodyard organized is one thing, getting the main operator to know what he's doing is another.
A fan would be nice, I think.
Well done. That should help to streamline the process.
Thanks...the process is streamlined, now I just need to work on the main operator...lol
One man band working requires a bit of extra engineering to get it done! I have moved things like that in same kind of ways.
How did you like running the skid?
Wasn't bad...liked the controls of it, just would need a few more days running it to get used to it more. Didn't like the blind spots however...lol
I would make some mesh baskets to hold the wood from the time it's split to packing that way your not having to touch the wood as much.
That's a good idea, I think I'll look into making some sort of wire mesh tote/basket. Costco boxes are nice, but wire baskets would be the ticket.
Why not place a black heavy duty Harbor Freight tarp on the ground in the greenhouse to increase the effectiveness of the drying process in two ways! 🤔🤔🤔
The ground is really dry back there and I'm not sure I'd wanna be walking in and out and over a tarp all the time. It should do fine without one.
