Great ep, many laughs were had 👍🏻
The Ed is killing it, punching way above his pay grade I suspect 😂
Cheers mate! Don’t give him too much praise he might start asking us to pay him… 😜😂
I am glad for you both that Justin is there teaching you how Fish, Cook and Navigate.
Luv your channel and the banter.
Haha cheers mate!
Boar and claw haha and a country song about it to go with it 🐐 are you kidding
It'll be on the radio before you know it 😂
Don’t ruin it by saying it’s AI generated
Seriously … one of the best yet !!👌
excellent video. better than normal. 👌 it's actually called a cockys gate and sleepy cod are excellent eating. they were a good size. well done again guys. thoroughly enjoyed that one.
Cheers mate! Thanks for watching 👍
I came from NSW before moving to QLD and back then I had known those type of gates as Queensland Gates.
Enjoying the new series of True North Adventures.
Oh great to hear Steve isn’t the only one who calls them that.
Thanks for the support!🍺
(Deliverance ) squeal like a pig boy. Need dueling banjos next episode!😂
😂😂
“Bush gate” Where I’m from. Great EP guys
Awesome video legends. Love the fishing banter 😂
Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed the laughs!
Cocky's Gate in WA. Justo was the classic new kid on the block! 👏👏👏
Haha yeh we threw him in the deep end 😂
Boar n’ claw for the win!
Loving the eps and Justin is a bloody good ring in for Baxter.
Bring on next week’s ep! 👌🍻
Cheers mate! 🍻
Guess you've gotta go back and catch some more Sleepy Cod? Could have been dining like Kings boys!! Boar and Claw, why not Sleep'n'pig
Also, editing really levelling up with every episode. Very creative, keep it up gents =D
I like that! Yeh will be back to try some sleepy cod for sure! 👍
Hahaha, love the view back towards to campground at: 5.44~7.12 looks like a kids camping adventure with the Helinox camp one chairs having their own TNA.
Why not the Sunset chairs, far more comfortable (doesn't feels like you are at a doctors inspection with your legs up in the air) and you have a lot of room to carry the slightly large form factor in your vehicles, yes I did have the Camp One but not good on the knees.
PS. Love my clip on Beer Mate cooler, use it often when fishing, cheers Gaz
Haha cheers mate!
We find the little chairs really comfortable and pack away that little bit smaller. Every little bit counts when you have to fit five blokes and all their gear into a car or boat.
Glad you’re loving the beer mate! Hope it’s helped you catch a few extra fish 👍
Great Ep and area and Tucker and fish guys, We call them Cocky gates
Cheers mate! Yeh righto never heard that one. I like it 👍
In Texas that gate is called a “gap”.
18:20 Wow, did we just get a glimpse of the elusive Phil??
haha yes we did!
Sleepy cod are awesome eating- better than saltwater barra . LOL, just saw the data on them you put up.
As we have now learnt... 😪😂😂
Bloody nice part of the world, we call them either cocky gaps or mallee gates 12:37
I like cocky gaps! I think that'll catch on.
You lot a fair dinkum clown's and I bloody love it! How's that huge rock in the middle of nowhere?
Haha cheers mate!
Yeh crazy right. I’d build the track around it too 😂
Sleepy cod are awesome eating- better than saltwater barra
As we have now learnt... 😪😂😂
We used to call it a gate. They came in all shapes, sizes and condition……depending on what you had left in the back of the truck. I can tell bard wire is not your regular thing!
😂😂
It's a carry and or drag gate😎
Cheers mate! Seems there a million different names for it 👍
Just wanted to say I’m liking the show fellas, not you though Marc but keep trying and who knows maybe one day you’ll get there 😂 keep up the good work lads and take care 🍻
Thanks for the support mate. We'll keep on tryin' 😂
You guys been sleeping on the cod. Caught lots throughout Queensland, even heard tales of the grandparents catching them in buckets set overnight thrown into the lakes/rivers attached to a rope and pulling them in slowly. Good chewing for sure!
Cheers for the tip! We'll have to try that next trip!
No Baxter very suspicious still on remand in jail 😅
🤫🤫😂
Nah he’s just busy with life. But he’ll be back for the next trip 👍
I’m from WA and we call them cocky gates
Yeh seems a popular term.
Sounds like the new south Welshmen are more likely to call them Queenslanders…
You should have had a Ganesy’s Lure on Marc- then you would have outfished Steve on that second waterhole
that’s a pretty big call! He needed a lot of help 😂
@ hey, you know how good Ganesy’s Lures are, look how much Steve cried when he lost his up the Wenlock 😂
That's a cocky gate they suck as a well used option and are a full tightarse s move by the station. Loos like a prime spot newsr the rapids though and your black smaller mesh cheribon pot will outperform any opera house of bigger mesh due to them thinking they're safe and we hidden but thst mesh size is illegal in the NT. I have several things that are well proven gun baits and if they are put in a fly screen sack, they will last all night easily. The ones trapped in there feel more more sheltered in pots with a smaller mesh and better shade or leaves thrown in there too as daylight comes around rather than bailing out. Perhaps trying a bit of shadecloth over the top may achieve the same result but I've not tested it. Just check them at bed time and again around about 0430 or anytime pre sunrise for far better hauls.... Only 7 is a laugh up here around Darwins spots. I've found Woolies cooked chicken bits and a few chook pellets are the go but if you are getting pots smashed by crocs there is a few other good bait options that won't attract these pot destroying 2 - 3m little buggers too.
Cheers for the info mate!!! Sounds like Stevie will be fighting for that pot every trip now 😂
Was that a chat gpt song. ? 🤣
Yeh some ai song website. Bloody crazy tech!!
What’s the name of the song around breakfast? 😅
Boar and Claw
It’s a cocky gate
Seems a popular one… Think it’s going to be hard to change what I call it after 30 years but I’ll try 😂
As I live and breathe I bet BAXTER is doing a cooking class at Tafe as we speak and JUSTINS misso be wondering where he has been hiding his cooking skills
we've sent him on a @firetofork bootcamp 😂
@@TrueNorthAdventures Good luck with that
No, in SA we call them cookies gates
There ya go! Had a couple say that now 👍
Bring back Baxter...😊😊
Baxters Flights are booked… we’ve got a different little trip happening soon.
I love all episodes in the bush on the track and looking for campsite and fishing spots why's is it you can't eat some of the fish mate I fish in 🇺🇸🇨🇦 sorry boys I wish I was in Australia but I'm staying with family they needed my help I'm still going out in the bush and fishing camping boating back to the episode mates 🇦🇺🤠✌️🚙🏞️🏕️🌮☕
Cheers for the support mate, some of the fish here just are not that tasty, the sleepy cod though we should have kept and ate.
How TF do you go on a trip with no spare bung for the few bucks they cost? I have one zip tied on the motor if one of my ones gets dropped by some sort of pisswreck move dropping it when you're removing or reinstalling it while draining it on the fly doing full rip if you're getting waves over the front. I heard a story about a bloke whose tinny split and the boys onboard had a shotty and blew the transom of the tinny out and kept it pinned wide open to get back to camp it was beached with 10mm of water in it instead of sinking in the middle of nowhere.
You have all the answers mate for a wanker
We had spare bungs packed but we left them in the big boat at musgrave… 🤦♂️
Luckily we didn’t need them 😂
😂👌🍻
🍻
🌙 😴🐟
