I read Redeeming Love in the 90’s after it came out. I think I was 17 or something and even then I knew it was such a story of redemption and grace and forgiveness. There’s a new sect among Christians where they’re trying to disregard the Old Testament so anything written around that is going to have negative feedback from some “Christians”. It’s their problem and they are blind. We need these stories, they’re wonderful and help us so much.
Enjoyed this video. Now I want to go and read Once Upon a Wardrobe again! And with Redeeming Love I definitely believe one has to read it in a spiritual sense to understand everything the story brings. The bad parts and the good. At the end everything she sent though brought her to salvation and that is the true message.
Oh my goodness the memes we could have of your face with the tea lifted into the frame 🤣 your expression encapsulated what it felt like reading some of those bad takes. No lie this was one of the funniest and most relatable 1star review videos I’ve ever seen. To celebrate I’m going to move some of these reads higher up on the TBR 😌 🪶 Also OH MY WORD I’m also halfway through Six of Crows and WOW I’m so happy to finally get through this!!! Also…. Justice for Joost 🥲 in all the years listening to ppl rave about the book, idk how he was never brought up.
You look beautiful without make up too. I’d kill for your skin😂 Hey I wanted to tell ya if you want a good clean fantasy for Christmas I’m reading A Soul as Cold as Frost by Jennifer Kropf in The Winter Souls series. I am loving it so far. I think it’s YA fiction but it’s still not feeling too young to me.
well a lot of people hate the Bible, especially the OT, so there's that 😆 i don't get it either, i was shocked when i found out that there are people who hate this book!
Such a cute video, you have thick skin, I’d be ticked reading all that nonsense people write. Sometimes I think non-Christians review Christian books just to leave a bad review.

How is Redeeming Love controversial 😅 it’s literally based on the book of Hosea…
