The match up wouldn't make a difference for a Bronze player, because in that level of play, the amount of mistakes made are so big that any character can be good. But in this case we're talking about the best of best players, no mistakes are allowed. Here the match up difference becomes much more transparent, and here you start to see top 8 with or more 4 Rashid players. Does match up make such a difference of us? Definitely not, but for them it really does.
As a gief player, id rather fight dhalsim, guile or menat over Birdie. This mup is bullshit. You dogding bombs from theair, ground and mid. All his buttons are superior and Birdie is second in yolo only to Urien. U cant frekin win. At least with menat and sim I dont have to put up with a fullscreen command grab. Only Abigail may be worse for gief
