I got to race you and Mike Day in Desoto Tx Super nationals in 1998 for the first time, and 1999. I got to take a win against Mike as I was slightly older, but got to race you when you aged up. You took me out in turn one first moto, then second moto took you to the inside in the loose dirt, but we both went to the mains and went one and two. I think we all grew that year before you did. I had just started in 1997 when I first saw you there in Desoto. I made it my goal in life to be able to race against you that next year. It was great motivation seeing you and mike with the answer jerseys on. I was one year away from a co sponsor from Trek then moved on to others things. I still have those great memories. You let me chase you during practice runs. Your were the best in that age group then, very intimidating, but you were very cool. Appreciate it man, good memories.
I remember the first time I met him it was the day of his moms funeral I was working one house down from his in Palmdale and the redline trailer was in front of his house and he came outside and I walked to him and we conversed a little and from that point I started back racing🙌🏿🤘🏿
38 secs in & claiming 14 ABA “World Championships”. ABA are American not world. Bubba was (is) supreme but when doing a documentary you can’t get the basic details wrong. Still enjoyed it tho👊🏻
Best BMX story ever!

You are an idiot.
I doubt he can tailwhip or barspin tho
He can backflip on dirt.
@ROCCOCYCLES well that’s no where near as difficult as a backflip on concrete

@@MobileHomeUploads you probably don't know much about freestyle bmx. It takes a little more than the right "gear" to create art.
