Thanks for the Update. It is always nice to see the progress of your work. I have to say, you are always very busy, and there is no lack of further Projects.

Considering the stripped down junk state of the 58 when you started restoration, this is nothing less than amazing. Thanks for the regular updates.

Local railroad used a conveyor type loader to fill tenders rather than lifting coal into a tipple and dumping into tender. Coal was either just dumped into a pile by side load gondola or there was a coal dock where bottom dump hoppers just gravity dumped and the loader moved coal to tender. Much like Lionel coal loader for toy trains.

The modified farm wagon is very functional for the Lionel loader.
Too bad a decommissioned CSX coke hopper wasn't available to section an end to form an elevated coaling tower.

Should the injector be located lower than the water feed?
Been watching the channel for a while, I enjoy the regular updates of progress!

The Garfield Double Jet injectors are designed to lift water as well as work well with warm water. They were standard equipment on all of the J&L Porters. When it is mounted in its final position it will be pretty close to the bottom of the water tank so that it won't be lifting water much if at all.
The advantage of being able to inject warm water comes in handy for saddletank locomotives when The water in the tank heats up.

Quick question, if the atlas car has batteries in it is it possible to hook those up as well for more power or are they too old if it has it?

Hey, I really enjoy watching your videos, thanks for making them :)
I was wondering if you have any plans/drawings of what your railway will look like in the future?

      oh ok

Every time I draw up a track plan of what the railroad will ultimately look like, things change and the plan changes! But basically a large loop with a passing siding, a spur track to the passenger platform and an engine facility inside the loop.

@@YoungstownSteelHeritage Hey there! Another viewer that found your stuff a few months ago and now adores it. The loop and everything that you plan on building, will it be done in time for June or is that a WAY distant future kind of goal?

@@YoungstownSteelHeritage Sounds rather similar to how a model railroad takes shape over time, constantly evolving and everchanging :D
I will just have to look and see what the future brings :)
