Cabbage salad is always cold, as it’s fresh. So you get all vitamins with your meat and potatoes :) balanced meal.

Byłem tam na schabowym rok temu i był średni co najwyżej. Podobno po zmianie właściciela mocno spadł poziom jedzenia w tym lokalu :P

Może zimno jest węgiel podrożał ponad 100 % a gaz niewiele mniej , poza tym lepsza była by tradycja , żeby polacy przestali śmiecić poza swoimi posesjami . Mała litera celowo mam taką tradycję że jak mnie jakiś naród podpada piszę z małej litery.
Ja lubie jest w kapturze, taka moja wlasna tradycja.

@@karassso ja debilu nikogo się nie muszę pytać, tamte czasy pamiętam , od komuny poprzez postkomunę do dzisiejszego " wschodzącego mocarstwa " . W każdym ustroju umiałem zarabiać sam . Tamte czasy miały tę dobrą stronę , że nie było tylu fanatyków , debili i pasożytów co dziś , a ci co byli siedzieli ciszej i nie trzeba było się na nich składać. Przypuszczam też , że jednak zrozumieli by właściwie moją wypowiedź . Tobie się to nie udało , dlatego zastanawiam się czy nie zastosowałem wobec ciebie za łagodny epitet. Ale zgodnie z przypisaną mi słusznie delikatnością nie będę zaostrzał swojej oceny.

@@karassso dopiero przyjechali , nie znają wiec naszych zasad . Występują w roli gości , gościom nie wypada zwracać uwagi na drobiazgi , drobne nietakty . Wytykanie im takiej pierdoły to jest dopiero brak kultury . Bar ma status zbliżony do baru mlecznego, nie ma za bardzo gdzie położyć odzieży , jak by weszli do Ritza to na pewno zdjęli by czapki. Poza tym JEZLI ŻYJĄ W ŁAGODNIEJSZYM KLIMACIE TO POLSKA LISTOPADOWA POGODA MOZE SPRWIAć , ŻE JEST IM ZIMNO , TYM BARDZIEJ PO DŁUGIM SPACERZE . Konia rzędem temu , kto zaręczy że każdy polski bar i restauracja jest odpowiednio dogrzana w listopadzie.
A może to są starozakonni?

Jak można przyjść do restauracji usiąść za stołem i nie zdjąć wierzchniego okrycia??? Przecież przy jedzeniu człowiek trochę się rozgrzeje. ..? I co później taki zgrzany wychodzi na chłód. ..?? Czy to jest mądre? ???? A kultura wymaga by mężczyźna zdjął kapelusz czapkę czy co tam ma na tej głowie gdy spożywa posiłek.

The Citadel, as the name suggests, used to be a huuuuge military fortress on top of a hill. It was destroyed in 1945 when Russians were chasing away German troops. There is a big military cementary there, even with a British section.

Surówka powinna być zimna. Jak chcecie ciepły dodatek to zamawiajcie kapustkę zasmażaną, buraczki zasmażane czy marchewkę z groszkiem na ciepło. Cholerni burżuje.

Most ytrs visit most fancy looking places, try some fancy dishes and claim they ate traditional polish food. You did it right :) Schabowy z kapustą and pierogi are our daily bread :)
As for the monument - in Poland there's much tension regarding old soviet memorials. After the fall of soviet union monuments are not only vandalised but often stripped of comunist symbols or completely dismantled by local authorities. We're still dealing with the turbulent past and that's why hammers, sickles and red stars are mostly to be seen in museums as a reminder of 39's invasion and "occupation" after the WWII.
If you like to see more remnants of that era visit a town of Borne Sulinowo (like 120km north of Poznań) created as a whole secret town for soviet forces of which NATO had now knowledge until the fall of communisim.

Oh wow, I want one of those schnitzels so badly now ! BTW the fermented cabbage salad has loads of healthy bacteria and supposedly helps you digest this huge meal. Even Dr. Oz recommends it. He's a popular health focused talk show host in the US. Unfortunately healthy foods don't always taste good. But I like that salad. Thx guys

Polish traditional food it is very good . Pierogi ruskie , gołąbki , kluski śląskie z roladą i czerwona kapusta ,there is a lot of it 😀 😍

you didn't try traditional polish pierogi. The ones you ordered are not treditional flavours!!
We tried the more traditional flavour in our recent video trying polish food ☺️
@@AshandKels The ones that are the most traditional are with cabbage ("sauerkraut") and forest mushrooms (z kapustą i grzybami) - you eat those for Christmas as one of the 12 dishes so basically everyone in Poland eats them. I know you said you do not like mushrooms when you were trying zapiekanki but trust me these are godlike (if you cook say 80 of them for Christmas, only maybe 20 make it to the table because everyone finishes them in the kitchen right from the cooking water :D).
Another traditional one is with minced meat (it's more like meat paste), usually pork. And the final one is the Ruskie with cheese and potatoes which you already tasted. I recommend you try at least the forest mushroom and cabbage ones, that's like the #1 reason to go to Poland. Also for dessert, the strawberry Pierogi are super yummy.

Next joke about the inhabitants of Poznań. These are the Scots who were expelled from Scotland because they were too skimpy :-))) The second half of the 16th century to the mid-17th century was a period of increased Scottish immigration to the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Scots came to Poland mainly for economic reasons (Scotland at that time was a poor country) and religious reasons (conflicts in Scotland between Protestants and Catholics). Currently, Scottish origin can be recognized by the names: Czamer (Chalmers), Czochran (Cochrane), Dziaksen (Jackson), Kabron (Cockburn), Machlejd (Macleod), Szynkler (Sinclair), as well as in the names of places, e.g. Nowe Szkoty , Szkocja - Scotland (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship and Podlaskie Voivodeship), Stare Szkoty, Szotland. :-))))) In Poznań, you have to eat Poznań-style duck with red, fried cabbage and steamed yeast dumplings. The obligatory dish is pyra with gzik. These are jacket potatoes with cottage cheese flavored with herbs. The soldiers from the times of the First and Second World Wars and the Greater Poland Uprising and all sides of the conflicts are buried in the Citadel. All participants of the Great Escape are buried in the Allied soldiers' quarters. I hope you remember the movie The Great Escape with Steve McQueen.

Nieokraszone niczym gotowane pierogi z mięsem to profanacja. Powinniście iść do porządnej restauracji, a nie chodzić po spelunkach.

Pierożak, nic dodać nic ująć. Swoją drogą ciekawe jak to jest prowadzić taki biznes, gdzie się lepi na miejscu, wkłada mnóstwo pracy w przygotowanie, a potem ma się w dupie jak to klient zje. No definicja Pierożaka!
