Concrete Blonde is great. A band I was in a long long time ago now used to cover their song Mexican Moon. We were a thrash/death metal band similar to early Sepultura. We didn't cover that song in that style. Whole reason we picked that song is that it was the only song the entire band could agree that we all wish we had been the ones to write and perform it originally.
She is, by far, one of my favorite vocalists, too... just a shame she never got in the spotlight she deserves. Being a female alto, she had to train the heck out of her voice to reach those high notes, has a unique sound doing it, all because her natural voice is nearly as deep as a male baritone.... very rare voice for a woman.

I was playing a gig as a duet at a local bar a few years ago. While we were on a break and my buddy was outside having a smoke, a lady from the crowd came up and asked if I knew this song. A classic banger. How can someone not love this song. This is a song that literally everyone loves. Great reaction brotha.
One morw thing. Rewind all you want dude. If a song is so good and it takes you somewhere else, rewind it to hear it all over again. I approve.
Now...Amy Winehouse, "Rehab" ❤❤❤
My least favorite of hers and the only one they ever seem to play on the radio
@@valwhelan3533indeed!!
Linda Perry was my 90’s crush! This is one of them songs that people will hear 50 yrs from now and say Wow!! Just a brilliant song!
This song never gets old. Just enjoy:)
If you are looking for female singers; Joan Jett. Her most popular songs, I Love Rock And Roll and Bad Reputation. Janis Joplin. Songs, Summertime, Me And Bobby Mcgee, Mercedes Benz, Piece Of My Heart and Cry Baby.
Battle Beast; Songs, Show Me How To Die and Enter The Metal World. The singer on those songs was Nitte Valo. They changed their singer to Noora Louhimo. L have not kept up with them so I can't recommend songs with the new lineup because I don't know.
Joan Jett please!!❤
1st, you did exactly as you should have... the smile, energy, laughter... that's what this song evokes :)
Female singer:
Evanescence - My Immortal
My eternal
Evanescence
Makes me cry
Awesome song and suggestion. But the song is called "My Immortal". Amy Lee's voice gives me goosebumps on the bridge every time I listen to it.
Also, Amy Lee w/ Seether on “Broken”was phenomenal . Seriously.
Halestorm ...has some powerful pipes
This song is so iconic
What an amazing reaction 😁 It was great to see your joy on that one. “She probably came out of the womb doing that” 🤣
I need to suggest another amazing female singer: Alanis Morrisette
Everybody says that this is a one hit wonder of the 90s but in my opinion this album Bigger, Better, Faster, More! was a classic n she was a gem of a lyricist n later she changed her profession into lyricist n penned some hits for the greatest Pop queens of late 90s n early n mid 2000s in such as Christina Aguilera, Pink, Nelly Furtado n to some more gr8 artist of the era...
Yeah calling Linda Perry a one hit wonder is crazy. One hit per year for the past 30 maybe lololol
Totally agree with everything you said
Still love this one since 93😎🇧🇻
Dude this song fucking rocks😂 wait til you hear Alanis Morissette jagged little pill album, she's got that yodel flipping voice. YOU OUGHTA KNOW, ironic, hand in my pocket. They rock dude😊

This song and it’s lyrics are more relevant today than ever!!
I was thinking the same thing when he was listening to it. I know the words by heart, so most often, I just sing along (at the top of my lungs, of course) without even thinking about what the words mean. I really HEARD it again today, and this comment hit the nail on the head!!
I grew up singing this song because it was catchy. now I'm an adult and this is one of my destress songs. I understand why my mom would play it so often lmao
Siouxsie and the Banshees! Great post punk band from the UK. They have around 11 studio albums from 1978 to 96. Highly influential band to a lot of these alternative/post punk bands. Go down the rabbit hole you won't regret it. A few songs are, Cities in Dust, Spellbound, Cascade, Night Shift, Monitor, Christine, Dazzle, Red Light, Switch, Placebo Effect, 92 degrees, Scarecrow....I can go on! any song of theirs is great in my opinion. Best reaction channel on you tube right now!

Bro you are the most genuine music reactor that is out here. I don't say that lightly. Your reactions and how they feel is literally THE reason why anyone watches reaction videos at all. Whatever that is, you have it.
For Halloween, PLEASE PLEASE react to Nina Simone "I Put Spell On You." It's from 1965 and it's timeless. ❤❤❤❤❤🦇🦇🦇🦇
32 years had passed but still singing it from the TOP OF MY LUNGS! 😁🤘
From the same album, try to react to Dear. Mr. President. Amazing vocals and amazing lyrics.

Veruca Salt, L7 more girl bands
Perfect song to add to your newfound appreciation. Her control is amazing. I'm impressed how large your library of music has grown in such a short period.
Carry on
Johnette Napolitano from Concrete Blonde is another underrated fantastic female artist. I love her version of Everybody Knows. Give it a listen.
Love her Pretty and Twisted album
I swear that you're my favorite reaction channel. You actually really enjoy the music and discovering new songs and artists, and it shows. I love your genuine enthusiasm.
This was a great song. I knew you would love. Girl rock bands from the 80s. Heart, The Bangles. They got some bangers
Fantastic song and her voice is wonderful. This gets turned all the way up when it is on.
Oh, it's very very 90s. No question.
Love that you love this kind of great music. It's another one that never gets old, and I've heard a million times (came out when I was 20). 1993 was an incredible year for music IMHO. There's a bunch of songs off Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dreams album (1993 too!) that you might like: Cherub Rock, Today, Rocket, Disarm, etc. So good! Love your style - thanks for continuing to spread the legacy of great music. Hope you reach 100K soon!
Cinderella-Somebody Save Me
Concrete Blonde-Joey
Mother Love Bone-Chloe Dancer/Crown Of Thorns
Anytime I see that a reactor is reaching to What’s Up, I just HAVE to watch it because I know it’s gonna blow someone away, as it did you. I believe yours is my favorite reaction ever to this song! When you teased us with “I wanna rewind, I wanna rewind,” I was here yelling “DO IT!!” So glad you did! I really enjoy your reactions!!
Pure unadulterated joy on your face 😄 brilliant!!
Your content is always spot on, so many bangers!
For a young man you’ve got such a curiosity and openness to all musical styles. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Got to the end - you were buzzing - loved it. Thanks.
❤️👍🏽👍☘️
We're In This Together - PJ Harvey (ft. Thom Yorke), Roads by Portishead, I Feel Love - The Dead Weather would be my picks for some female vocals.
Great reaction, btw! This song was featured on an episode of Sense 8 on Netflix. Great scene. Gave this song a resurgence in sales and views, I'm sure.
Portishead for the win, a must listen along with Annie Lennox for female vocalists x
Love love love Linda Perry. Great song and awesome reaction! Thanks.
Another all female band from the 90's you might like is Veruca Salt and their song Seether. Or The Breeders (female lead vocals) with Cannonball.
OMG I was reacting to you reacting to the video. You have some of the best on RUclips. Whatever you were feeling it was flowing off the computer screen and in to me. She has a duet of this song with Dolly Parton that is worth checking out. Thank you.
