Dude, i improved my rating on Lichess from 1150 to now 1600 (once almost 1700) just by watching your videos since the beginning and doing some training on Lichess. Speak for yourself. "We all " not correct. Fischer admired Capablanca and I appreciate his talent as well but I actually enjoy and learn more from his losses than his wins because it HAS to be a good game when Capa loses. (Virtually always a good game). And so, I get tired of hearing his name over and over again. Hello guys, I am from Sri Lanka and I'm a fan of this channel for about a year now. Few weeks earlier on Easter Sunday, 11 suicidal bombs have been blasted in three churches, during the Easter mass, killing almost 300 lives and around 600 were injured. Bombings were found out to be from the Terrorist group ISIS, as an revenge for some nasty shit happened to them earlier on this year. Anyhow the whole country social media sites - Including RUclips - were blocked from that day on to limit the spreading of rumors but everything got figured out eventually so that they opened all the sites again few days back. I was pretty eager to watch all the missed videos during those days and finally I finished watching them, Including the Grenke championship. Its sad that, even in this modern age, people are still killing other people for religious beliefs and me and my family are very sad for the ones who lost their loved ones. Nice to see that Agatmator and his family plus his dog are doing fine and I hope all the brothers and sisters are doing good and being safe. And also guys " Say yes to CHESS and say no to WAR " Peace!!!
It does NOT seem like the Capablanca saga is taking too long. It has been an amazing review of his career so far. TAKE YOUR TIME in finishing the saga. There is no rush to move on to something else.
I fell in love with watching Capablanca after your video on the first Marshall attack, could watch these videos for the next five years, more or less 5 months
That was a very logical crushing game from Capablanca. Reminds me Peter Leko when he told he learned from Capablanca games how to operate on both flanks when you have achieved space advantage.
Just started the video and wanted to say my worry is not that it's taking too long. It's that I'm afraid it will end since it's such an excellent saga I would watch it forever. Keep up the great work!
Wow incredible game Brilliant endgame from Casablanca a well fought battle but just superior play from Casablanca with the Black pieces Thanks Agadmator I know you have videos that go back 7 yrs from 2024 I’m able to watch for the first time since I’ve only started watching GM games the last two years of course you’re a lot more at ease when you speak you’re more articulate these days compared to when you first started I enjoy watching these older games you covered Many which are historical games like this with Casablanca Fantastic work from you Much thanks always
Capablanca has become my favourite player from history in part to this saga, keep it going. Great content. I love the games prior to computers as you know it's all about the person playing.
Every night before sleep i watch one of your classic videos, especially the sagas. Your vast knowledge about chess and its history matches with the tranquility you transmit while explaining the moves and variations. Thank you very much for your valuable content
The way you explained it, it seems so simple and obvious, but Janousky was a brilliant tactician who often made other Masters look foolish! We cannot have too much Capablanca!
As Finegold says: If you want to draw a stronger opponent you have to play actively and perhaps you'll get a draw. If you play for the draw the stronger opponent will simply outplay you in an equalish position and you'll lose.
I agree with John Grey! Capa was voted by subscribers for next 'saga' & I think Antonio should do the coverage as he finds best. I believe that there is a lot to learn from those of us U1700, which, I am guessing, is the majority of subscribers. The increased HD & frames per second is much appreciated by my eyes!
#suggestion After watching your previous video, which started with board being flipped upside down, I came with an idea, that I'd actually love to see some games from a perspective of a black player! Most of my chess knowledge comes from internet and almost all positions, games and tactics are shown from this side of the board and for a person who learns by recognizing images and positions it's harder to learn to play black pieces actually. Seems kinda funny, I know, but at least in my case it's true xD I'm actually curious if I'm the only one, who would like to watch the footage from the darker side, it would be something really refreshing!
Yikes so many people claiming first it's cringeworthy to watch. Great video Agadmator - nice to see a bit of variation on the usual Capablanca Saga openings
I'm rarely commenting on a video, but i just want you to know that you video is very enjoyable, TBH thanks to you i play chess again after leaving chess for about 4 years, i'm not a good player just an enthusiast Keep up the excellent work, the saga never felt too long 😁
Beautiful game! I think by this time Capablanca had fine tuned his style and developed a high level of precision that other players couldn't keep up with.
Youre great annotator.. please make a video of capablanca until his very last game in his carier.. because it's just impressing, enjoying and most importantly learn a lot from him!

Agadmator: You typed "11" twice in the move list in the description (at move 11 obviouisly). This makes it impossible to import the game into chess websites or programs unless you can spot the mistake ;-)
