  • The future is full of uncertainty and challenges, but a group of our forward-thinking students took matters into their own hands by organizing a TEDx event with the theme "Where are we heading?". The event brought together a diverse range of speakers to explore the pressing issues and exciting opportunities that lie ahead for our society. From sustainability to technology, gender equality to medicine, this event was a thought-provoking and inspiring discussion about the future. Dr. Aaron L. Baggish is the founder and Director of the Cardiovascular Performance Program (CPP) at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, USA, the United States’ first program designed to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to athletes. Dr. Baggish earned his B.A. from Middlebury College with dual degrees in English and Geology and his M.D. from the University of Connecticut. He completed training in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and advanced cardiovascular imaging at the Massachusetts General Hospital and post-doctoral research as the United States Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Dr Aaron Baggish has contributed enormously to the Sports and Exercise Cardiology community and Athletic individuals.
To explore and to discover, to create and innovate are part of our human experience.
The sequenced Human genome at the turn of the century and the very rapid advances in Biotechnology and Bioengineering have set a new stage
for further exploration not only in Sports but of Life as a whole so that we can " share decision making "
