To many blueberries in a blueberrie muffin??? You're kidding...right??? No such thing you goobers!! 😂😂😂 Another great video everyone and I hope y'all enjoy your day out there on Morrow Hill!!
That just blows my mind that not one of y'all have ever tasted a woopie pie ,wow and you were all right they are very sweet.great video Daniel & Lou.stay safe.
I have NEVER watched you two cooking before! I am only half way through and I must say this is the best cooking show ever (sorry Jake). Keep him in line Lou!
lol, I said to myself when I was the yellow container in your hand that it was baking soda not baking powder, I am so glad you caught that early and only had to trash 4 cups of flour.
Dan and Lu your muffins look so good. Dan, if you love cinnamon you can always make you some cinnamon sugar whipped butter and use it on your muffins, toast, or anything that butter and cinnamon tastes good on. My husband made cinnamon chicken once but I wouldn’t recommend it. He tried his hand at cooking. I ate a little of it to be nice but he didn’t really like it either. Lol 😂 My favorite chicken is the crispy deep fried chicken like I grew up with as a kid 66 yrs ago. I think grate grandma used lard instead of crisco because lard gives it the best flavor. I will have to make some of those muffins when it cools down in the evenings because it getting hot in Cali. Oh better yet I could make a small batch in my Emeril food frier which has the French type doors. I love that thing. Thank you for Mother’s Day greetings. I look forward to all your cooking shows. Your authentic selves are refreshing raw which I honestly like. Have you two ever thought about having a video on love & marriage? Marriage has its ups and downs and getting through them can be helpful to younger married couples. I’ve been married 23 yrs and still navigating through the rough times. I don’t know how people deal with life’s issues without God in their lives and hearts. God bless you two.
Just an fyi you could have used the flour mix you threw away they would rise more, While both products appear similar, they're certainly not the same. Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate, which requires an acid and a liquid to become activated and help baked goods rise. Conversely, baking powder includes sodium bicarbonate, as well as an acid. It only needs a liquid to become activated. Looks really good. I love maine blueberries as they are way bigger and more juice than oregon blueberries. Whoopee pies are too sweet for me, I use them in a box white cake mix cut into pieces and blend lightly, bake as directed. Very good taste sampling video.
Poutine (pooh teen) is yummy. It has a brown gravy, fries, and if you want traditional cheese curds. Some prefer shredded cheese like mozzarella. Easy to make and filling. Just cook the fries, heat the gravy, put gravy over fries &add the cheese on top.
Daniel you can tell your animals are so happy to be back home it says a lot about the bond you & Lou have with them. Jami said LJ was starting to warm up to her I think they are grateful to be home being at camp is never like being home. What a blessing Jami & Lester had a place for all 💖🙏
@@susaninnes2047 I’m from Rhode Island but currently in Tampa caring for my mom. I really miss back home and will eventually return. I think all of New England is just so beautiful. Especially in the Fall.

Dan it’s so funny your hat goes up and down when you’re chewing 😂 😂😂just noticed that. Love you guys so much. Your whole family just makes my day. 😊😊😊😊
We pronounce it poo tin which originated in Quebec Canada. It can’t be any cheese on top only fresh cheese curds which Quebec is known for. I’m not surprised it is popular in Maine though it is a destination for a lot of Canadians. There is nothing better the wild blueberry pie from Maine. One of my favourite places to visit.
Veruka Salt said the "snozzberries taste like snozzberries". By the way, that line in the movie is considered to be one of the "filthiest jokes" hidden in a childrens movie. Who knew? That is one of my all time favorite movies! The muffins looked delicious. Yum!
Poutine is pronounced pooteen. It is Canada's #1 dish. Try it sometime you'll love it. The cheese you use for it has to be curds, the white ones. Put the curds on top of the fries then pour hot gravy on top to help melt the curds. You can still put any other toppings that you normally have one fries like vinegar etc. Maybe after doing the states you can branch out and do dishes from around the world and for Canada's you will definitely have to do poutine . 🙃
@@chasesmom5287 I buy them. I'm not sure if they sell them in grocery stores. I usually get them if I stop at a dairy store or little country store. I have never made my own poutine, I have only eaten it at a restaurant or chip truck so I never have looked for them in the grocery store. Farms that have little stores to buy things usually have them as well. Maybe try looking on ytube for a recipe I'm sure you'll probably find one. Good luck with your search.
The muffins looked yummy! Also.....I found the other part of the goat tree playground 😜 It in the DMZ between Jake's and Lester's fence! Along with some of Jake's blue feed barrels😉
Lou, I always use paper cupcake holders when I bake my blueberry muffins. My recipe is the best I’ve ever had, but they will stick to the pan no matter what you do. I sprinkle cinnamon/ sugar on the tops before I bake them. Sooo good. The recipe is not of my doing. I don’t know where it originated, but it is the best.
Really enjoyed the video. The blueberry muffins looked really good and blueberries are very good for you too. Always enjoy the family get togethers thanks for letting me tag along.

It was in Lester’s video! Poutine is delicious! I thought that was a Canada thing… love blueberry everything!
From Maine here. The reason it may have seemed like too many blueberries in your muffins is because I noticed that you used regular blueberries. In Maine, we use 'Maine wild blueberries', which are much smaller, so they are more dispersed throughout the muffin. They are more intense in flavor and not as sweet. They also contain more antioxidants than regular blueberries. Outside of Maine, you would have to buy them frozen. I think Wymans sells them all over the U.S. frozen. I can't stand yucky Moxie. And I'm surprised that Ruth didn't include MAINE Potato candy in your package. I will send some or a recipe to you sometime. I live along the Downeast coast of Maine, and the weather here is usually a bit milder than the interior of Maine, and honestly, I don't think that I could take the heat of Texas. Anytime its more than 75° and sunny is too hot for me unless there is a cool breeze coming off the ocean. Ok, I don't usually post much, but I guess this old granny feels chatty today. I really enjoyed this video and love watching all the Morrow's, especially when you all get together ❤️. Thanks for sharing.
I love all your cooking shows and all your other videos also ! I love blueberries snd I know I would have loved the muffins taste and they were beautiful also ! Maine is a beautiful State I’ve visited there but it’s extremely. Cold in the winter with lots of snow ! Their lobster rolls are delicious , I make lobster and crab rolls at home now but I use the imitation crab and lobster because the real thing is to expensive ! I just chop up the package of meat , dice up about 1/4,of a small onion and dice 1/4 of a green bell pepper , dice 1 stalk of Celery, add a teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning , 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and black pepper and about 1/2-3/4 cup of mayo, you want it creamy but not soggy with mayo ! Mix well and chill in fridge for at least 1 hr. And serve on hotdog roll with potato chips or French fries !! This will serve about 5-6 rolls , any left over mixture will last in fridge for 3-4 days ! Thank y’all for all your videos and God bless ! ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈
Dan your other board for the tree playground you were looking for is down the DMZ area between Jake’s pasture fence and the sanctuary fence plus some of Jake’s blue feed half drums. 😊
Dan I have a similar story but I sat on my cat ! Luckily it was a cushy chair and I realized pretty quickly and he was ok but it scared the crap out of me.
