I feel like they invested a lot of draft capital in QBs lately (Levis, Willis), if a career backup wins that job that’s a terrible look for the organization.
Mason Rudolph isn't anything more than an effective game manager and he's still head and shoulders above the other two. What does that tell you about them, specifically Kenny?
@@Steely_Cam I watched the July 4 2017 battle between Mason Rudolph & Baker MayField "BedLam" (55-62 shootout)-I see a gun slinger when needed. I might just watch it again. I think if Rudolph gets that W.. he would had also been round #1 in that 2018 QB HAUL. Similar to this '24 draft.. #5 in round #1.
Mason has always had the guts to stand in there and make the throws. Now he has the benefit of the NFL rules protecting him from the huge hits to the head/face/knees. He could definitely have a Geno Smith-type resurgence.
“bUt MaTt CaNaDa WaS cAlLiNg HiS pLaYs” have you ever heard one single person, online, in person, in a dream, ANYWHERE, extend that same excuse to Mitch Trubisky? Curious, that.
Appreciate it! Yeah I’m working hard. I took a big hit havjng to start over and it’s definitely a blow to the ego not getting the traffic I’m used to but comments like this make it all worth it. Thanks, man. Brothers in Black and Gold.
If what we're hearing is true - that Mason wants starter money and the Steelers aren't willing to give him that because they're not ready to declare the Pickett experiment a failure - that's organizational misconduct of the greatest degree. Letting a guy you KNOW can do it walk because you want to give a THIRD chance to the hometown hero...geez Louise.
What matters is the that the players WANT Mason! They know better that’ll anyone who can make them and the team better. They (especially receivers) will absolutely revolt if mediocre Mike puts one read, spin left Pickett in over Mason. The players know Pickett is too cowardly to stand in the pocket and let plays develop, unlike Mason.
I don’t know if “cowardly” is fair. I think he feels he’s better on the move. Delusional, sure. He may have been able to dance around those ACC EDGEs but he should have learned long ago that’s a losing gambit in the NFL. “Stubborn” certainly applies. Personally I’d go so far as “me-first,” “arrogant,” “misogynist,” these all apply.
The Titans got a good one. I wish Rudolph the best of luck in Tennessee and I hope he gets the starting job

@@Steely_Cam he's better than Will. They brought in mase to replace him
Literally night and day results vs the other #2 QBs

@@Steely_CamWhy do you say that? Game managers don't lead the nfl in passer rating or break franchise records.

QB#1
Should had been #2 years NOW

I wonder when Mr. “You Can’t Learn Anything from the Sideline” will figure that out

Rudolf should be 1 in 2024... just for IQ at QB

Played in three scrub games at the end of the season and is automatically a great qb steelers fans smh
He did more in those three games than Kenny has in his two years. Our bar has gotten low.
