To think this was the end of Yhwach....is not knowing the guy at all! Turns out, he's been fighting with his eyes CLOSED all this time! Now, though, he opens them and comes into his full power and there's no way Ichibe can face that o.o This new power also seems to be affecting Ishida, who manages to singlehandedly stop what's left of squad zero o.o Now there's nothing between the Quincies and the Soul King (and Ichigo is the only one who can stop them at this point D: )

Fun fact the recap lasted for a 9:00 minute just after which yhwach used his almighty which perfectly matches with the Quincy saying

You got this reaction up fast. I am happy the half episode of recap didn't bother you or impact your opinion of the episode. I can understand fans who disliked so much time being spent on a recap that took a good chuck of the episode's run time, but for me it didn't bother me as much I thought.
A friendly reminder, back in Part 2 when Yhwach gave Uryu some of his blood, he also assigned Uryu the letter A, the same as his. Both Yhwach and Uryu have A. Yhwach’s ability was revealed this episode to be the Almighty, but this episode hasn’t revealed what Uryu’s ability is yet. It does hint what it is and if you are manga reader you know what to look for. This episode being called A is fitting, since both Yhwach and Uryu's powers overcame defeated Ichibei and Senjumaru's bankai respectively, granting the Quincy their victory.
Yhwach became my favorite Bleach villain over the years. The anime does add more to his character that makes him more layered than he was in the manga at this point, at least to me. The scene of Yhwach ascending the stairs, thinking about all the setbacks and crushing defeats he was handed, and reveling in his victory over Yamamoto and Ichibei, and reaching his father made me feel for him. I'm not in I want him to win, but in a way that humanized him a bit more for me. I think your discussions on rather or not Ichibei is more alike to Yhwach touches that. It makes him stand out from Aizen, despite having the same endpoint.

And yeah, Yhwach is turning out to be such an interesting vilain D: I love a bad guy who feels completely justified in a way we can understand!
(And about the recap, we grew up with animes like Naruto and the thousand flashbacks and long stares xD a recap won't bother us ahah)
