The eraser at 8:19 is shaped that way so you can erase small details. Like if you have a new eraser you usually get the most precise erase from the corners so it’s shaped like that so you don’t run out of corners

It's a HUGE thing to deal with, and I just want to let you know, you CAN do this. It's hard. It will never be perfect. But you can live long and happily with it. Glad you're finding things that make you happy in the meantime. Baby steps for now, and take it one day at a time. You're a champion.

SO HAPPY!* AND my inlaws got me these beautiful pearlescent arcylic paints that I didn't even know existed! I LOVE them. I've been wanting pearlescent paint for a VERY long time, but they're always so expensive! So I was so crazy happy about it! Another art related thing, but not a gift I got: I got my step mom these reeeeeeally expensive paint markers, and I'm adding it here because I GOT THEM SO CHEAP! Comparatively. They're usually as, if not more, expensive as Copic, and I got 3 for $3 and a 5 pack for $8 (the pricing wasn't consistant)

Based on the colour couple from the copics (copicsona), it would be neat to see you pick 2 colours and draw two characters one with each one of the colours. Sort of a one-marker challenge twice to make a pair of characters. You wouldn’t have to do random colours, I just want to see the comic tanned girlfriends you described personified.
I am tardy lol but it is indeed a latte mug but it's also an indian or russian tea mug, they tend to like very sweet milky tea so they are typically served in tall thin mugs, indians do 'pulled' tea, google videos, it's kinda mesmerizing to watch them pull tea
Greetings from Germany. If you didn't know, Leuchtturm is the German word for lighthouse. To pronounce it, you can say loysht-toorm. That is not 100% accurate, but close enough to the real German pronunciation to not sound ridiculous.
Talpa 1987 is there an easy way to know if the “ch” sounds like a “k” (like in the word Nacht) or like “sh” (like the word nicht)? I always get so confused by that 😥

As a side note, I believe that the non-photo blue should show up on a printer now (anytime after 2000 lol) because technology has evolved. So in case you try it it isn't the fault of the pen it the bloody printer thinking he's just too good for us nowadays!
The Platinum Preppy (the highlighter) also comes in a fountain pen version! The cartridges are interchangeable between all versions of the Preppy, if I remember correctly. I don't have one myself, but I've read that the preppy is a decent and inexpensive beginner fountain pen!

I got some Posca Pens, Winsor & Newton inks, watercolor paper, two coloring books, gouache, and a Meeden watercolor palette. The coloring books and the watercolor palette were a complete surprise. I'm going to put my gouache in my palette but I'm waiting until the vegetable glycerin that I ordered comes in the mail
The square copic markers are the original copics. I still have some left from my college days but I switched over to Sketch this year. If you want you can get brush nibs for those square once. Love the video! I always like to watch haul videos because I can see what kind of material is out there and what brands 😍❤

My brother bought me a Japanese calligraphy set for Christmas. I was into it as a teenager but I stopped when I ran out of materials, so it's great being able to do it all again.
I'd love to see you guys just use all of that art supplies in future videos!!! :D I didn't get any art stuff FOR Christmas, but I did get an amazon gift card that I used to buy silver gel pens, assorted sizes of micron pens, and colored micron pens!! And after Christmas, my mom bought me an adult coloring book which I've been LOVING!!

I just started trying it, because I got a kit for Christmas! It’s so fun, and I got to make a cactus first try!
It’s really fun but takes a long time and where I live, felt can be expensive.

The eraser is weirdly shaped so you can erase fine points or big areas depending on which side you decide to use. It's really handy!
