- Grabbed a friend of mine and we decided to go for another adventure after the local news appeared to grow fed up with the vandals. It’d been 6 years for me, but the hospital seemed like it quickly went downhill. I DO NOT condone Vandalism, the more you damage it, the more it ruins the fun for the rest of us. I'd gone in twice back in 2017, the hospital was very untouched on the first expedition. 2023 has not been kind to the hospital, the current owner is Persian-American slum lord Medhi Bolour. The hospital is a historical site given that it was opened in 1933, this prevented the building from demolition in 2003 after Tenet healthcare sold the property to Caltech, who had next to nothing they could do with the place.

is there still that alarm? I went in a few years ago and inside the chapel there’s a sensor that sets off a huge loud ass alarm and after it blew up on tik tok it became impossible to get into. When was this taken?
That alarm got taken out but they recently fortified it again in September :( I filmed this in June when the vandalism and damage was hitting its peak. I tried to go back in early October but there’s a motion detector within 10 feet of the building that sounds like an ambulance is in your backyard, they also drilled steel plates over all of the lower level windows and painted over the graffiti

How hard was it to get in? Any tips?
Not hard at all! Lol there were a few doors on the south side of the building that were all unlocked! Problem is that kids have been getting worse with the vandalism so it’s becoming a huge police magnet now. I recommend going during the day so you avoid any of the shadier people and the flashlights won’t be as visible!
UPDATE: they fortified it with steel plates :( it’s near impossible to get back in ever again
