A full glass door would bring in more sun and you could even add a greenhouse outside this wall to bring the outside in If you want greenery is always great
Thats more counter space and cabinetry than the house I grew up in. My family of 5 lived in that house for 22 years, and we remodeled the kitchen and all three bathrooms 4 years before we moved out, nearly doubling our storage space in the same footprint.
It’s always a good idea to have the refrigerator on an exterior wall. My first home had it on the interior wall next to my bedroom not a good idea the motor goes on and off all night long. I have a new home and guess what it’s on the exterior wall
We are flipping a house with a small galley kitchen and I will be doing all white like you have done with the exception of maybe the walls because I don’t want it to be too sterile or cold. I would love to know what wall color you are using. I’ve learned from your videos. Ty ❤
to bad the sink was not under the window. it would have worked. closing off the outside door: not a good idea. reduces the emergency exit port. house inspectioner would not like it either. The way the kitchen should have been set up as a triangle. stove, fridge, and sink. that's the experts that started that a long time ago. cir1950s.
...ugly before, especially cabinets over sink. it is a usa Tradition to put the sink(large) under the window. Maybe the range too as this is a very narrow kitchen, and most people will not enjoy the sink against the wall. its better, but far from improved, with obvious design problems still. These are subtle preferences that natives assume is their comfort nest but often do not talk about or even order done, it's just assumed. Apt owners and property managers usually don't care that much about these intangibles in housing. They should!
Never close off the door it’s another way out in case of fire safety. Beautiful remodel 💜💜💜💜💜
Nothing like a gally kitchen to brighten your day. I'm with you girl!
I love how you utilize the space. I’m glad you kept the door leading outside and everything looks cohesive. Beautifully done. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️
Looks terrific! You did a great job. The door window gives so much natural light.
Beautiful job. Congratulations.
Great job💯👍🏽 I don't see any way to reconfigure it better than you did. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🎯
Love your work.. I do renovations on rentals .. but love your flips
Wow!!! You did a great job. It looks fantastic with lots of storage space.
I didn't know Mantis was hosting a diy home reno yt channel...more please
I would have suggested that you put the sink next to the window that way you could see outside as you're washing your dishes or using your sink
Well done! Bright and open!
Great job!
Beautiful job.
I prefer a galley kitchen. Everything is at your fingertips! Making for cooking. 😊
Definitely good to keep the door for safety's sake in the event of an emergency. Overall I like the design. Thanks for sharing this!
Looks fabulous!
Great decision! I love doors and windows so no closing allowed lol
Kitchen looks awesome 😮. You have a great eye for design 🤓

Can we see the Before and After, from both sides of that Kitchen?

Lol, my kitchen would fit into that one at least 3 times
So where did you move the washing machine to? That looks like a whole plumbing job to move it?
Beautiful!
Where did you locate your washer ?
That's what I'm asking

Great
Why do we need such big kitchens what we need is functional kitchens
You are amazing😃👍Subscribed!
Where’s that big washer?
VERY smart ❗ 🎯
the door is fine. the kitchen just didnt have enough counterspace because of the weird cut outs in the house
You should have moved the sink to under the window.
What happened to the washer by the door ?
You could have put in a slide glass door onto the deck ! Just another idea
Watch the full renovation to find out: ruclips.net/video/z719JzmmIWI/видео.html. We did put a slider to walkout to the deck.
I would never close off a door (unless it’s off a bedroom or out to the roof), or a window (and unless if it faces a brick wall/building).
Where did you move the washing machine?
I have something like this so what is the corner box holding ? Was it just a empty box wasting space ?
How is that a 'tiny' kitchen? It's at least a third larger than most kitchens in Europe.
That sink is in a yecky location!
Where did you relocate the washer and how much did it cost?
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
That’s not what I call a small kitchen.
If that is a fire exit don't block it
Wish that was the only thing I had to concern myself with. ..( while making money making a you tube video about it- smh-).
I feel like this video is bullying my 3sqm kitchen
Knock that back wall out and have sliding door
