LuchianM1 I am from Europe as well xD. It is not that much that we are paranoid, but it is kinda weird, without a warning, but on the other side when I was in Germany my brother was leaving his car unlocked with the stereo inside so yeah ...
we see parts of what happens in these videos other wise the video would be really long. Maybe he did let him know his intentions via non verbal communication.

Your filtering is scary close. How long have you been riding? I think I've filtered like that once after a redbull.

if you have folding mirrors, you'll filter as comfortably as RJ is ;) actually, if you've ridden a bike for 2 or 3 months, you should have got a feeling of how wide your bike roughly are. then you can comfortably slotting in without banging someone's mirror.
3 months of riding in Brazil made me filter like that

I start filtering right after passing the CBT and were allow on the road, but 2 years of cycling certainly helps that alot
curb jumping buses, supercars and pedestrians walking all over the place... what a place to ride!!
I've done some filtering in my bike career but watching you filter through London traffic still has me on tender hooks!! lol

So funny to see that supercars in London are just... useless 😂 even a 125 is faster in town
I had a great time in England this week-end ! Love the roads in London : really clear, intelligent red lights (no green for peds when you turn at right or left). Easier to drive in London that even Lille in France and of course Paris ^^

You are still the Man when it comes to Filtering. The Rider on the "L" plated Bike has a bad habit he needs to break. Hanging his left foot and leg out as he rides. Formed bad habits are hard to break. Keep having fun. Thank you for the videos.

Just found your channel a couple days ago, love your videos RJ, you earned a sub. Seems like riding in the UK (for the most part) people are much more cognizant of riders. If I tried to do that kind of lane splitting in America I'd probably get hit before I got a ticket.
I've been without a bike for the first time in 15 years and I'm trying to decide on my next bike. It's down to the s1000r and the super duke. I realize you're lucky enough not to have to make the decision, but if could only have one, which would it be?

Out of curiosity (I've never ridden a motorcycle before, least of all in a congested city like London), what was it about that Scooter's filtering in the last clip that was bad? Was it the lack of speed and the fact he almost always had a foot down, or was there something more intrinsic? I'm asking purely so that I don't make the same mistake when I start riding.

Bit harsh on the learner at the end, RJ! We all build up experience and the A4 has more than it's fair share of last minute lane changers, so caution on his part is fine. He could have pulled over for you, mind.

What's your favourite gear from rainy days like we have here in Scotland? 3 layers jacket and if downpours of rain put an overtrousers and overjacket rain cover? or a system like Knox has, single layers? If I understand English laws, that young motorcyclist was a learner. He/she needs to be told that riding along with their leg down like that could cause them a lot of pain one day! If you see them again RJ, and they are still doing it please, for ER workers everywhere, tell them to stop it. Bad habits are easy to learn and hard to break, stop now or you will learn the hard way.

Hey RJ, i have a question, have you ever ride a chopper? And if yes, do you like that kind of motorcycles? Just curious :)
Once, long time ago and never again, to be fair it was done by an amateur and was a death trap.
RJ i just passed my cbt but im still not confident. Ive never ridden a motorbike or driven a car before and the instructor made me drive at the front of the group, man was it nerve wrecking.
You have many years ahead of you to learn and become confident, so take it easy and remember us bikers never stop learning.
How many wing mirrors have you knocked off while filtering RJ? those were some small gaps! I've only knocked off 1 so far, on my DT125.
