  • Let's learn some phrases that native speakers use all the time. I'm talking about binomial pairs. If you don't know about binomial pairs, they are expressions with two words connected by a conjunction - usually AND or OR - and the word order is often fixed.
    So it's time to test your knowledge of binomial pairs. Feel free to participate in the lesson and write your answers in the comments. Hope you learn some new phrases.

    I love the way that you write words and phrases in "phonetic simulation" comparing with IPA ... please keep doing this, it will help non-native speakers sound smoothly and naturally ... I love those binomial pairs that you taught ... loud and clear ... laud-duhn-clear (sorry for my trying to imitate ...) 😍

      You can say: sick and tired. You also can use zonked, but not with the word sick.
